Caelus; Exiting Mana Core

Caelus

Upon exiting the mana core of Arthur I had noticed that a suffocating presence was lingering. I didn't do anything to get rid of it instead I watched. I saw a black haired female elf grasping for air and an older male elf doing a similar motion. I had only taken action against the aura when Sylvia had told me to, bringing me back down to earth, pulling me from my trance.

"Ah sorry" I said aloud absorbing the surrounding aura making the area more breathable. One thing I had noticed was that my presence seemed to have no affect on Arthur as if I was not allowed to harm him. I wouldn't dare test it, Sylvia would kill me.

"I'm sorry about the presence from my-" she paused before continuing as if not knowing what to say.

"My friend" she finished facing the elder elf giving him a smile to show that truly meant no harm. She began to walk towards Arthur to which the black haired elf responded by dashing towards her. The black haired elf held a small dagger to Slyvia's neck which I doubt the others in the room could see.

I began to charge mana into my arm, feeling it course through the mana veins, down my arm and it my palm I went to lift my arm and 'kill' the elf, in reality I wouldn't shoot this mana blast because it could destroy my existence in my current state, so luckily I was interrupted by Sylvia's voice.

"I mean no harm, I just wish to see Arthur. Do you not remember your grandmother, Arthur?" I let the mana in my arm return to its natural flow as I saw the elf girl lower her dagger in confusion.

Sylvia continued to walk towards Arthur not before sending me a sly smirk as if saying 'aw you really do care about my safety'.

I looked back towards Arthur, tears dropping from his eyes. He must have understood what she meant and figured out who she was. I watched Arthur as he sprinted to words Sylvia basically launching him self into her arms.

"It's ok Arthur, I'm not dead, not anymore." She said in a calming tone while stroking the boys head gently.

"B-but how?" He said through tears and sniffles .

"I don't really know myself to be honest." Her tone was calm like undisturbed river but I could tell she was happy to see Arthur again.

"Sorry to interrupt the moment but uhm who exactly are you two?" Said the older elf in a questioning tone.

"Ah yes I am sorry I seem to have forgotten to introduce myself" Sylvia said releasing Arthur from her hug.

"I am Sylvia, I looked after Arthur and trained him for a short while before he came here. That is all I can really tell you about my self and for my friend here even I do not know much at all about him." She said pointing at her self and then me.

'At the point I got looks for everyone in the room as if saying 'That's a guy' why did I have to be cursed with such an appearance' I cried to myself in my thoughts.

"I am Caelus, and that is all I will say" I said in a dark tone to give off an intimidating vibe, don't think It worked 'cause of this stupid physical appearance though.

"See you won't get any information from him. Especially right now he seems grumpy" Sylvia whispered the last part while snickering knowing full well I heard her.

"But how did you two just appear and with such a big pressure." Said the black haired elf.

"I can answer that" I said bringing all eyes back to me.

"You see when Sylvia transferred her unique will to Arthur I was also able to use my mana to transfer her conscience here so that when she died only her physical body was lost. Her soul was preserved in Arthur's mana core." I spoke releasing my words in a monotonous voice as if this was no feat. And also answering the completely wrong question on purpose because like why not.

"Is that even possible!?" The older elf shouted.

"well Sylvia is alive so yeah"

"But even so the amount of mana needed would be unprecedented." He basically shouted towards me.

"No bother in shouting at him you won't learn a thing of his powers, trust me I've tried everything." Said Sylvia

"OK but that still doesn't explain how you've appeared here" the older elf said highlighting the word 'here' In his speech.

'It seems they completely forgot about the aura question then'

"Well you see, I had to wait a while to generate enough mana to eject our souls from Arthur's core, even now the time we have is limited. About 10 minutes or so before we have to go back into Arthur's core."

"I understand Sylvia not having a physical form but what happened to your body?" Arthur spoke slightly tilting his head to the side while looking at me. Everyone in the room looked intrigued by this, even Sylvia as I had not told her a single thing about me. I decided to be nice and give them a little bit of information.

"It was sealed away for reasons I will not disclose to you all" I said keeping up my monotone voice saying this earned me a curious smile from Sylvia.

"Ooh that's new information to me, but I'm disappointed you told Arthur just because he asked I tried everything and you wouldn't tell me a thing" Sylvia's smile faded and turned into an exaggerated pout near to the end of her statement.

"Well today I was feeling generous I guess" I said simply earning an even more exaggerated pout from Sylvia.

I heard the voice of the elder elf causing me to pull my gaze away from Sylvia and toward the elder elf.

"And the presence the two of you released?"

'Guess I thought they forgot too soon'

"Well that's simple really, an area with little to no mana near by is suddenly filled with lots of mana the result a suffocating aura. Our spiritual forms use mana as fuel so when we were ejected from the core it leaked to fill the empty gaps where there was no mana"

"To control such a high amount of mana, your manipulation must be incredible" the black haired elf spoke.

"well yes It does have to be quite good" I said while summoning a small ball of pure mana which I let dance around in my palm and change into many different intricate shapes.

The Elves (Aya and Virion) , Arthur and even Sylvia watched the mana dance around in my palm The elves and Arthur were intrigued by the way I manipulated mana be Sylvia seemed to be awestruck.

"it's not that exciting Sylvia"

"True I did watch you forge mountain and carve rivers"

'Wow she really had to snake me out like that'

"W-what? Forge M-mountains" Virion stuttered out a repeat of a piece or Sylvia'a sentencing as if asking for confirmation that he heard correctly.

I released a big sigh as I began to speak

"Yes I was able to manipulate the landscape, but I was only able to do it to such a degree due to our predicament. The area we are sealed is only made of mana meaning the landscape can be changed as long as you can manipulate the four elements." I didn't want them questioning me too hard confusing me for one of those false deities so I revealed my ability to manipulate the elements in hopes the would chop me up to be some prodigy like Arthur.

"So you couldn't do it out here?" Aya spoke a hint of lust travelled in her voice which she obviously made no attempt to hide.

"Of course not" I responded

'Atleast not right now'

"Wait. You can also manipulate the four elements?" Arthur spoke up, he sounded more surprised than anything.

Before speaking I released a mental sigh.

"Not anymore."

"what does that mean?" Arthur asked everyone in the room even Sylvia nodding in agreement.

"I'm too weak right now, using elemental magic is dangerous, Pure mana is ok however." The last part was a lie I want them to keep the dread they felt when I nearly 'killed' the elf Aya.

"Wh-" from what I could guess Aya wished to ask a question but I interrupted her.

"Sylvia and I do not have much time before we must re-enter the seal so I cannot answer anymore questions, we have somewhere to be." I spoke still keeping up the monotone voice.

"We do?" Sylvia asked curiously

"Yes, you must go see this daughter of yours"

"Huh, Really! I thought I would have to wait longer!" Sylvia shouted her voice danced around the room blissfully as she jumped towards me in attempt to hug me out of joy, I evaded her to which she nearly fell on her face. Arthur laughed at her antics before speaking.

"If you want I will take you to see Sylvie. I named her after you Sylvia."

"She knows. Everyday she would watch your life as if it was a TV show." Once I spoke this I immediately regretted it, from what Sylvia had told me I had learned Arthur was a reincarnate from another world and he would surely know what television is while no one in this world would. In fact even know I feel his gaze lying upon me. I will have to play it off as learning it from his memories. I'll make up an excuse saying I watched his childhood where I could hear his thoughts and hope him and Sylvia would believe it, but not now there are too many people maybe once we are with Slyvia's daughter. That means I have to watch the heart felt reunion though. So boring.

Pulling myself from my thoughts I noticed gazes from everybody in the room before talking I cleared my throat.

"Well anyway how about we go and see Sylvie. We don't have long left."

"Yeah sure" Arthur said slowly I noticed the caution in his voice it wasn't heard when he also had his gaze piercing my soul, those azure eyes felt as if they contained great potential for either good or evil, he could be useful.

I was awoken today by a punch in the stomach by Tess, I mean she had been waking me up earlier everyday since she found out I would be leaving soon. She wanted to spend as much time together as possible before I left to go home.

At first she didn't even want me to go home and broke down crying when Gramps told her but that was a while ago Even before I found out about Sylvia being alive and the mysterious person Caelus, he claims to have been sealed inside me since I was a child. he knows of my past life even mentioning television once he also claims that he learned about my past life through my memories as a child but I can be too sure yet. Sylvia seems to trust him.

Anyway back to Tess, today she wanted to take me shopping.

'This is gonna be such a long day' I thought as I sighed in my mind while getting dressed into my clothes for the day, Tess was waiting rather impatiently outside my door. It seemed she was extra excited about shopping to day which meant it would most likely end up being an extra long day for me.

On our way out of the castle and towards the sort of shopping area of the elven city we discussed many things for example, meeting up after I leave and things to buy for shopping which at that point I prayed to whatever God was out their to bring mercy upon me.

Once at the shopping area Tess ran forward ahead of me slightly and turned back towards me before speaking.

"You always come with me when I'm shopping so I decided to give you some money and let you shop for once."

It seems a God is out there, one that I'm very grateful towards.

"Thank you. I'm very grateful buy I'm not sure what to spend it on."

"Why not buy a gift for someone you care about" Tess spoke her voice soft, and her gunmetal hair flowing gracefully in the wind.

"You're right I could buy Sylvia a gift with this once again I thank you" I said once again, bowing slowly.

"Eh" I said aloud as I felt the temperature in the surrounding area drop to what felt like absolute zero looking around I noticed a dominating presence rivalling what Sylvia and Caelus released when they first appeared. This presence didn't feel like magic but rather pure disdain.

I looked around for the origin of the presence but when I couldn't find it I raised myself out of my bow, what I see before me could only be described as a demon, the demon's hair rustled in the wind giving it a demonic look, the teal green eyes glowing and piercing my very soul.

"So I give you money and you decide to spend it on another girl?" the demon spoke up, upon the demon speaking I realised that this was no demon but a rage-filled Tessia.

"I-its not l-like that Sylvia is like a mother figure to me" I blurted out as quick as I could stuttering along the way of the sentence as the words rushed out of my mouth.

"Oh? Is that so? Well then I apologise" the atmosphere went back to normal and so did Tess acting as if nothing had ever happened in the first place. 'Women are scary' is the only thing that was on my mind as we began to look around through the shopping stalls in silence.

Looking through all of the stalls I didn't really see anything that caught my eye, nothing I think Sylvia would like anyway I personally thought some things were quite interesting but focus on find Sylvia something.

While walking around and checking one more stall I saw something glisten in the corner of my eye, I was filled with curiosity as I began to walk to the stall where the glistening originated from.

Upon reaching the stall one pendent in particular caught my gaze, it was a circular pendent, the rim of the pendent being made of a material similar to silver in my old world, inside of the circular pendant's rim was a material similar to jade which had been cracked in certain places to give detail to the background of the pendent, the layer on top of the cracked jade was silver in the shape of a dragon. The shape of the dragon wasn't to big and allowed you to see the cracked jade which was behind the dragon just slightly, the silver dragon had a crystal in place of its eye which seemed to made of a material similar to amethyst giving it a beautiful purple hue. It reminds me of Sylvia's eyes.

"This one" I said as I turned towards Tess.

"Wow that sure is one of the most beautiful necklaces I've ever seen, I bet Sylvia will love it" She spoke will admiring the pedant's captivating beauty.

"I hope so" I said as I handed over the money to the shop keeper and taking the pendent which was now placed into a small red box which on it'd own looked luxurious.

Timeskip: Arthur Leywin

I woke up in the middle of the night, not being able to sleep I got up and walked over to the desk sort of thing in my room and sat down in the chair pulling the glamorous red box toward me, opening it I admired the pendent within thinking back to the time I had spent with Sylvia. She was by far one of if not the person who sacrificed the most for me, her beast will, her life and even her daughter she was willing to sacrifice everything for me. This is just a small token of my appreciation.

Shutting the Red box I left my room. I wondered around the castle with nothing to do looking for something to pass the time with before I got tired when I noticed a light and many voices coming form one of the rooms maybe four voices. Walking towards the room, the voices got louder and louder at this point I could guarantee the people in the room were Aya, Virion, Merial, Alduin and Alea. I had gotten to know Alea through my training with Virion.

Once I had gotten to the room and opened the door I had noticed all eyes were on my.

"Ahh monster brat we were just about to start discussing that person from earlier Caelus. Would you like to join us?"

"Yes I will join you I want to know your thoughts on him, I'm not too sure about him" I responded to Virion's question as I walked into the room and took one of the empty chairs. The room had a circle table in the centre which everyone was seated around other than that the room was rather plain.

"From what me and Aya have seen we belive this person 'Caelus' is a dangerous threat and if seen in the castle should be left in peace." Virion spoke shocking me slightly but I was able to compose myself. I also noticed that the king, queen and Alea looked shocked as well , seems they didn't expect the meeting to begin like this.

"But if he is such a threat why leave him to roam the castle?" Alduin asked.

"If I may your majesties" Aya spoke up earning a nod from Alduin and Merial before continuing.

"From what me and Virion witnessed it seemed the Being Caelus only went in for and attack when I threatened the one named Sylvia. This helps us assume that he isn't here to attack us but that's not only it. When I went to attack Sylvia and defend Arthur he charged up enough mana into his arm, to the point it could kill me if it hit me in near instant.

Aya dropping this information got an audible gasp from Alea and a fearful expression from the King and Queen.
