Harmless barbie

Mia woke up very early because it was her first day at her new job as an intern and she doesn't want to be late. She couldn't even sleep properly because of the anxiety. When she was ready, she went to her friend's room and woke them up so they wouldn't be bothered about her when they woke up. She woke up Ava and then went to Evelyn's room. She gently tapped on her but the sleeping log wasn't even responding

"Good morning," she said after she notice the little movement of her friend's eyes.

"Where are you off to?" she asked half asleep trying her best to speak.

"I'm going to work," Mia told her in the most appropriate tone but Evelyn stood up from the bed as if she just heard something formidable.

"E-ahh, W-wait!" she didn't even know what she was saying but she was trying to use all the words with an exclamation mark." this early" she busted out. Mia looked at her with "I don't understand you" so she just thought she was talking about the many characters in her dream due to the way she jumped out of the bed.

"Byeeeee" she waved her hand to her and then headed towards the door before she finally left. She reached work very early and was brought to her new department. She was the only one there because her teammates hasn't arrived yet. She looked around her department till her teammates kept coming one after the other. Just like that, the chairs were completed so she knew that they were already completed. They were seven in the department including her. She could notice she was the only female in her department and became shy or not maybe just her introverted character.

Someone walked to her and said, "I guess you are the new intern" she simply nodded her head." I'm Lincoln, the team leader" and then he shook hands with her. Lincoln couldn't believe how beautiful she was and started developing feelings for her. It could be said to love at first sight. Just like that, they all introduced themselves before her and also shook hands with her. She was so happy that her teammates seems nice to her on her very first day. Mia was told to bring her files to the receptionist to make sure there was no error, on her way going she met Mr rude at the elevator door.

Liam was shocked to see this troublesome but beautiful girl in his office who created chaos just by splashing a little water over her. Breaking the awkwardness Mr rude asked"what are you doing here"

"do you want to splash more water on my body" she was utterly nut, how could he when he just held a piece of document, she was just being ridiculous. They argued for a while when a worker passed by and greeted Mr rude"Good morning CEO Fox" and Mia"Good morning, miss".wait, where did that come from. How could he be the CEO. She became paralyzed and looked up to him. When he saw her reaction, he smirked and left her there. When she came back to her senses, he was no longer there and she started to panic in her mind because there was a probability she going to lose her job before it could even begin.

She went to her department looking hopeless, all the lights which sparkled in her eyes were nowhere to be found. She didn't speak to anyone till the closing bell. Even when Lincoln was trying his uttermost best to start up a conversation but she was incredibly killing the chat. After hearing that closing bell, she left hurriedly as if she was being chased by a ghost and accidentally bumped into Mr rude. She silently cursed her fate for always meeting this hell of a man.

"sorry" was all she could utter before attempting to leave again but it was like he was going to make it harder for her. He blocked her way with his hand stopping her from moving forward, she raised her head and saw that so-called boss she knew hated her already because of the way they came across each other.

"where are you going in such a rush?" he asked in his deep sexy voice. But she didn't have the fantasy to enjoy his voice as much as she wanted to. She didn't know what to say because she can't say it was because of him. When he didn't get any response, he asked again leaving her dumbstruck because her poor brain hasn't been able to come up with anything yet and she suddenly muttered "it's because of you" she just said that out loud. She didn't know what made her say something like that but she didn't know her response made him out of words.

Before he could say or ask anything else, she pushed his hand blocking her way slightly, and ran out of the building making him look at her with awe. She was such a mystery to him but he didn't know when he became so interested in a mystery like this. One minute she will be brave and the other she will be so timid like a harmless barbie doll
