"Your highness," Daira addressed again. "Before I speak, please allow me to give a little light in here."

"Light?" the king looked at her in confusion. "We already have light, child."

"A king shouldn't be dwelling in darkness. For you are the people's emblem of hope." Daira spoke as she lifted her hand. "Luminaire akpa hakil..." she mumbled and snapped her palm closed.

The place was then filled with light as if the fire on every candles were upgraded into incandescence, producing gentle and clear white light rather than a yellowish burn of waxes.

Daira smiled upon seeing the court hall hugged with a small amount of cheerfulness with that simple spell.

Ceron's eyes were drilled into the woman's face who smiled to the king after what she had done. He never met one before but in books. The tale of people who can conjure elements and magics.

"What are you?" The king finally asked.

"I am Daira from Ketu Placidus."

The king's eyes widened at that while the rest of the men in the room whispered in voices of doubts.

"You dare lie in the king's court!" One of the counselors pointed at Daira.

"I did not." Daira defended, looking at the king. "Seeing the reaction of the king, I presume this is not the first time you've heard of the place from whence I came."

"Ketu Placidus are but all part of myths." Taek, the counselor countered back.

"Myths?" Daira looked at Taek in wonder.

"Yes myths. Children fairytale stories." Taek said while the other counselors nodded.

Daira let a scoff then. "Well, that's odd. I only heard of Rahu from our set of story books. The five dragons who kept on spreading terrors around villages and the incoming gathering in a pit of demon mountain."

"Rahu? This great nation is in fairytale books? Preposterous!" Taek exclaimed.

"I didn't take any offense of making the great and magnificent kingdom of Ketu Placidus in your fairytale either. I don't care so long as you tell me how did I get myself in this place?"

"We rather want you to tell us, child. We have no clue if your visit here means salvation or destruction of my people." the king said.

"Destruction?" Daira nodded to the king. "I might bring destruction...to those wretched dragons."

"Are you saying you're willing to slay those beasts for Rahu's sake?" the king voice had the hint of hope on his voice, having his hands held the cold arm rest of the throne.

"But first, I need to have access of all the documents of Rahu. Histories of those beasts, geographical map and the accounts of first inhabitants of the place." Daira said to which she saw the king's change in expression.

"You shall not be allowed to access of our documents here." The king said sternly.

"What?" Daira couldn't believed that she had been denied of that. "I want to know how did I come to this place. For me to learn everything-"

"The last time I granted somebody of the same request, I lost ten cities." the king paused, trying his best to hide the agony that glinted his eyes before it went blank again. "If you wish to access documents that could make you understand how did you come in this forsaken land, you may have to gain my trust first."

Silence still reigned the hall, waiting for the place's master to continue as the said angel had the look of trouble on her face and yet she had the manner not to interrupt the king.

"Slay all five of the dragons...and you shall gain not just my favor but all access of the documents of our kingdom. Treasures, celebration of your name and everything you ask of me, shall I bestow on you. Bring us peace we've been longing to taste."

Daira didn't expect to be burdened with such task by the Rahu's king himself. In Agartha, she was the little princess of her father and mother. She never handled such weight to take care of because her sister or brother may have been the first one to take care of it. The king may not be her father but this he had also seek the goodness and welfare for his own kingdom just like her own father.

The king may had seen the hesitation on her face as he stood up and went to meet her in the floor. Daira looked up to the king when he placed his hand to shoulder. "I have my armies to assist you in the assignment. Lend us the strength that we don't have. Prove us, that the Ketu Placidus people had matchless powers."

"I'm not the strongest one in Ketu your highness." Daira only smiled at the king. "I shall do as you wish, your highness. But I don't want to bring an army. Dragons are cunning species and in distance they may see our throng with their piercing eyes."

"Then tell me what do you need, child?"

"A guide of all the places they dwell to accompany me in scouting on their dwellings." Daira said. "Since I'm not stand for any documents here, I need someone who can tell me about these dragons and their alliance warlords."

"I'll go with her." Ceron stepped in making Daira turned to her right. Her head tilted to the guy in long hair with his shiny armor.

"General, you are needed by your commands in standby." The king said.

"We can't let someone so young to roam around in dangerous places of Rahu, your highness." Ceron said.

"We'll send someone else, general." the king sternly refused.

"Your highness-,"

"We're still at war, general. Warlords have their eyes in this city, the only place standing in between the demon mountain and the dragons. If they made it to the mountain, havoc will be heaven and understatement. All of us might as well die before they got a hand of the Pike."

Daira's eyes widened at such information, quite taken back that the things said on the fairytales she used to read on bedtime are existing at all. Indeed, if the dragons got a hand of this Pike, that will be the end not just in Rahu but also in Ketu.

"We shall destroy this Pike first and foremost." She said which again drawn the king's attention to her.

"It could only be. With all five gems that the dragons possessed for their keeping." The king said.

"Then, let's change our focus here, your highness." Daira said. "Let's destroy the Pike first."
