PRINCE KLOUD’S POV
“Your huffs and puffs are making me annoyed. Your pacing is even irritating me,” I stated as Prince Ulysses' nervousness got on my nerves as we stood outside Ma’s chambers.
“Just ignore me,” he uttered, rubbing his hands, and walking back and forth.
“How can I?” I chuckled as his brows furrowed and he heaved a sigh again and then stood behind me.
The door of the chambers opened, and the maid announced, “The Queen will see you now.”
The guard at the door beckoned us to follow him and then we entered the lavish chambers and found Mother seated on the couch waiting for us. She stood and rushed over to Ulysses, hugging him.
“Welcome, Ulysses. It's a pleasure to have you in my chambers.” She gushed over him.
“Ma, you forgot about your son who is standing next to you,” I teased her, and she laughed.
“Thank you, Your Majesty.” Ulysses smiled warmly.
She moved from Ulysses’ arms and pulled me into an embrace. “Thank you, son, for coming on short notice.”
