Chapter 2 The asshat Alpha ( a.k.a Ezra Black.

Upon arriving at the airport Ezra and his Gamma Alex got a rental and headed out. He had not brought any of his warriors, they would follow after he assesses the situation. They may not be needed after all. He wanted to go over the ledgers here also. The benefit of him remaining allies with this pack has not been as good as it had been when he began this alliance. If there was no benefit to him, even a little, he would not continue on with it. Not that he needed it. He just believed that one doesn't get something for nothing. The Red Dawn pack was a worthless little pack, he thought. They couldn't even protect themselves. He had heard that the next Alpha in line was a gigantic baby for reasons he didn't care to learn. He also heard that because of this he was unable to take his spot in line as Alpha, the man was 20. What was wrong with him, he wondered. He has been an Alpha since age 12, he just turned 18 last month. His favorite thing yet is how older Alpha's try really hard to treat him like the young man he appears to be. It's always the same shit. I have more years of experance in battle under my belt. I have been an Alpha for so many more years and yada.. yada...yada. Those who have not heard the rumors or just simply don't believe them think they have one over on me. The trouble with their way of thinking is, I have seen and done more horriable shit than most of those old Alpha's in their entire lives, so no they have nothing on me.

" Alpha?" Alex called from the front seat, getting his attention.

" What is it Alex?" He asked him looking up, effectively interruping his train of thought.

" We will arrive in 20 minuets." He explained.

" Okay and they know that there are no unmated females around me EVER right?" He asked his Gamma.

Ezra was so pleased when he turned 18 and his wolf has yet to say that one word "MATE", he had no interst in finding his mate. Not because he didn't want one really, but because of the danger she would be in. Also because he just didn't need that sort weekness in his life.

" Alex have we crossed the Red Dawn's boarders yet?" He asked being he wasn't paying attention, and Maddox his wolf is pacing in his mind giving him a headache.

" Yes Alpha. Is everything ok?" He asked him.

" Yes Alex, its just Maddox is giving me a headache pacing around." Ezra said holding his temple.

Alex looked in the rearview mirror at his Alpha. He was concerned because Maddox doesn't like the heat. One would think we have entered the ninth circle of hell it was so hot here. The last thing he needed today was his Alpha loosing his shit. He did look to be in control, for now anyway.

"Maddox what has gotten into you?" Ezra asks him.

" I don't know Ezra, there is something here. Something that is pulling us toward this ridiculous pack." Maddox answers him. A bit unsure now.

" What do you mean by pulling us? Is it danger or something else? Is this pack currently under attack?" He asked him. Questioning his wolf. Trying to figure out what was wrong with Maddox.

" I can sense no danger, its a pulling sinsation... I think. I don't know why I feel this way." Maddox told him. A little unsure of what he was actually feeling.

" Do you think we should turn around and go back. I don't really need to be here. I am only visiting these packs to make the Lycan Queen Mother happy." He told his now anxious wolf.

" We are in no danger Ezra and the Lycan Queen Mother has her own reasons for sending us out on these visits. It isn't just so you can keep up with packs we are allied with, like she claims." Maddox said chuckling a bit. " We will continue on as planned." Maddox told Ezra. He would go because the Queen Mother had commanded it of him. She secretly hoped he'd find his mate in one of these little packs in the states. He also swar that the woman sent him on missions to packs around the world hoping he'd find her. That was a hope he did not share, but he would do anything for the woman, and so would Ezra. So here he was entering a pack to offer his help, well... Maybe? He just couldn't explain this odd feeling. He thought he knew the feeling or at least what it meant, that he would keep to himself until he was sure.

" Okay. Maddox you stay alert. I don't trust this. It feels off." He told his wolf.

" I intend to Ezra, there IS something here." Something that I feel is ours he thought to himself.

" Alpha we are coming up on the pack house now." Alex told him.

Looking up at the house coming into view he saw that it was a three story Victorian that appeared to have an attic as well. The place looked clean, the paint not chipped. It looked as though the place was cared for. He hadn't really been paying attention on the way in, but from what he could see the land was vast. It had a nice forest, he could smell water near by. The pack house is a good size, all in all it was a good piece of property. If having land in Hell was your idea of paradice then yeah, he could see the appeal. He thought ruefully. In his musings about the pack lands he was entering he had unconsciously began to stare at the window in the top of the house. He looked down at the porch and the two people standing there to greet him.

"Alpha? We are here. I was told last night....

" That is not the Alpha and Luna of this Pack." He said cutting his Gamma off mid-sentence.

"Um, no Alpha I was trying to explain that Alpha and Luna Green are being held up in meetings at another pack at present. Those are the Alpha and Luna in waiting. Alpha Green thought it would be good for his son to handle the meeting in his stead." Alex told his Alpha a little unsure of the out come. Alpha Ezra could accept this or he could get pissed and leave.

" This pack is asking for my help and the use of my fighters. Alpha Green dosen't even have the decency to show up and handle the meeting himself. I am to discuss the outcome of this packs future with his whelp instead. Is that what your telling me?!" Ezra exclaimed now pissed off.

" Well umm, Yes Alpha. But, Alpha could you calm down a little, Please don't scare anyone this time, Or, Um Or, Kill anyone this time." Alex checked cautiously.

" Alex what makes you think I could scare this Alpha. Isn't he an Alpha same as I, and Isn't he older than I am, to boot?" Ezra stated plainly.

"Yes, Alpha. But the boy here is Alpha in waiting. He does not have all his Alpha powers or strangh yet? Also Alpha, Since when has a mans age or title stopped you from doing damage to the other?" Alex said.

Remembering the time when his Alpha had punched another Alpha who was much older than himself. That Alpha had been in his thirties ( if memories served, and it always did.) Then the time when Maddox took control and killed another Alpha because the man insulted Ezra and called his wolf weak. That one had been in his thirties as well. Ezra now had control of that pack ( Being the beta had no intrest in allying with Ezra nor did he want to fight him for the pack). Ezra had intergrated it into our pack. The Beta was now one of the 13 no longer a beta but still important. Trusted with the care of the Alpha Family, as well as the Lycon Royals when the need arose. Then there was the Pack that Maddox had wiped out because the Alpha was an idiot that thought to take Ezra's pack with the excepion of the children and the Beta being the man was off pack lands at the time of the massicure. The Beta and the children were also now a part of their pack as well.

Ana had finished the food in record time. She didn't think she would have enough time at first. She had fininshed and placed the last dish on the menu and went back to her cell 15 minuets ago.

"Ana something isn't right. I feel strange." Aaliyah told Ana.

" What is it, are you alright?" Ana asked her wolf.

" Yes, But do you think you could stand to the side of the window and peer out?" She Asked. " Be careful don't let anyone see us okay Ana." She reminded gently.

" I don't know since the last time I looked out the window almost got us killed. I have not tried since. I will try though." She said shakily.

Ana stood to the side of the widow and looked down at the approching vehicale.

"Ana we need to sneak back down stairs. We need to know who is in that SUV. We are not locked in yet. We can still get out of our cell, and hide down stairs and see what is going on. I can not tell you why it's important to us but I can feel that it is." Aaliyah said urgently.

Pulling the large vehical to a stop Alex got out and opened the door for his Alpha. Walking together to the porch they walked up to meet the Alpha and Luna to be.

"Alpha Green this is Alpha Ezra Black and I am his Gamma Alexander Stuart." Alex told them extending his hand to be shaken.

Darien looked at Alexs' hand like he didn't know what to do with it.

" Am I to bow at your feet Darien?" Ezra ask sarcastically.

" Um no of course not Alpha Ezra." Cheyenne said quickly.

" You need your woman to speak for you? Do you not have a mouth of your own, or do you not have vocal cords?" Ezra asked Darien.

" No Alpha he doesn't need me to speak for him. Maybe we should go in and let you take your ease. Maybe have dinner and discuss things?" Cheyenne said kindly.

" Yes, thank you Luna Bailey." Alex said. Trying to take control of the situation before Maddox does.

Walking into the pack house and to the dinning room, there were three Omega women waiting to seat and serve them. Ezra liked Cheyenne at least someone in this pack had a backbone he thought.

Cheyenne and Darien walked in behind Ezra and Alex. They were talking quietly amongst themselves. Cheyenne trying to get Darien to be quiet since we all have heightened sences, you know like hearing.

" I see no warriors with him. I thought that he was bringing warriors with him. He is wasting our time." Darien stated irritably.

" Darien, dear will you please try to not offend him. He has the meeting first to see what we need. If he feels disrespected in any way he may not agree to help. This is all political you would know that if you bothered to pay attention in the meetings we both sit in on with your father." Cheyenne told him becoming annoied with her mate. If he wasn't careful he'd get himself killed or at the very least the shit kicked out of him she thought.

" We can hope though right. He is an over bearing ass Cheyenne." Hope her wolf stated snickering in her head.

" Hope that is no way to think of our mate, and you know it." Cheyenne snapped at her wolf.

" Oh who cares. He doesn't even want us. His parents are making him keep us around because of the mate bond. No one wants to piss of the moon Goddess by denying the gifts she gives us. If not for the fact his parents are chicken shits he would have rejected us on his birthday two years ago." Hope said sadly.

" Yes, that may be true but he is our mate. We have to make the best of this life we were given Hope. Try to get our mate to accept us." Cheyenne said, just as sad as her wolf.

" Darien listen to your mate. I will bring my warriors if I think they should come. Not before. I see she at least has common sence, something it would seem you are lacking." Ezra said angrily.

Alex looked at his Alpha noticing his eyes were flashing from Brown to Black, Maddox is getting angry at this pup.

Taking their seats at the table the Omega's began serving them right away.

" Okay Darien, you have the meeting. I need to know where my money is going every month. Then I'll need to know what is going on in this pack. Why are you being targeted by these attacks, and how do you know that it is Rogue's and not other packs attacking you?" Ezra said, all business now. Maddox still riding on his skin, one wrong move and he'd have the meeting.

Alex was watching his Alpha for any sign his wolf has taken over. Hopefully this pup isn't stupid enough to piss Ezra off anymore than he was. Alex could tell it wasn't just Darien being an idiot that had Maddox riding Ezras' skin like he was. Its something else but what would have him just under the surface of his skin like that and for this long.

" Alpha Black, as you know my father and mother are still running this pack on their own. I am only involved in my studies as far as taking over the pack from my father, the schedules for our warriors, the Omegas training and hiring in different areas of the pack, and the boarder patrols. I am not involved in the packs business as far as the ledgers and what not. You understand?" Darien said matter-of-factly.

" What your telling me Darien is that you are simply a worthless man with a title then?" Ezra asked. Maddox is losing his mind in Ezra's head. Its causing him to be a smartass but also this ignorant ass Alpha wanna be is getting on his last nerve.

" Maddox what the hell man?" Ezra asked him. All while talking to this stupid piece of shit in front of him. No he doesn't like Alpha Darien. The man knows nothing of being an Alpha, yet wants the title. Smirking to himself he thought that is the very reason he isn't using it when he addresses Darien, but he was with the assholes mate. It was pissing the dick off, and that amused Ezra and Maddox. Hince the smile, not scowel on his face.

" Ezra our Mate is here." Maddox told him.

" You sure, I mean I feel the pull you were talking about. Your sure its our mate though?" He asked now anxious himself.

" Yes, it is our mate, she is hiding, listening to us. That is strange yes? Most when sencing their mate would have run right in and claimed us. But she hides?" Maddox said curiously.

" Thats not everything Maddox, you are pissed about something, and not this incompetent bastard we are stuck talking to?" What are you hiding?" Ezra asked.

" I think she is an Omega, a wolfless one, powerless, weak. I just can't sence anything other than human abilitys. Why would the moon Goddess give us our most hated thing for a mate Ezra? At the same time I want to go to her, but I do not want her. But, there is something else. Something that is tugging at this dead thing in our chest." Maddox told Ezra.

" NO! Ezra shouted in his head. " Maddox forget it we are not leaving here with a mate. Not now not ever. After we pass the bourder of her pack this day we will reject her. We can not have a mate not matter her standing. We will kill her you know that." Ezra said hoping Maddox listens and doesn't do anything stupid.

" Alpha Black, the money you grant to us each month goes toward, Classes for our young ones, the training of our pack warriors, food stores, basic supplies and mantainance, and the up keep of our pack hospital." Cheyenne said also all business.

" Thank you Luna Cheyenne. So Darien you really are just a worthless man with a title being your Mate, a women no less has more idea of what is going on in your pack as future Alpha than you do." Ezra said digussed now.

" Yeah and as the future Alpha I deserve the respect of my title. You do not seem to have an issue giving that respect to a mere woman. Futhermore as the future Luna she has to know the workings of the pack." Darien snapped at the asshat hotheaded Alpha.

"WHAT!" Ezra yelled pushing his Alpha aura out over the room. Causing the poor Omega woman serving more wine to spill it over the table, and ultimately into Ezra's lap.

" I give the respect that is earned, that mere woman has proven to be more of a man than you today." Ezra yelled somemore. Looking down at his now soaked pants, then at the woman in front of the door coming into the dinning area ( He guessed she was getting ready to make a run for it, it didn't matter her placement was perfact ) his eyes now almost completely Black.

" Why anyone would keep a worthless Omega in their pack is beyond me. They should be fed to the wilds. Forced to fend for themselves." Ezra/Maddox sneared looking past the scared woman toward the stairwell vent being that is where his mate is hidding and watching, though he can see parts of her eyes he can't see them clearly. Through eyes locking is the way to be sure who is ones mate. One can also sence the mate, before ever seeing the eyes. But, there was something weard about his mate bond, he doesn't have to see her eyes to know 100% that this hiding she-wolf is indeed his. Maybe it was because of the way Maddox was. Ezra thought.

" Luna Chyenne it was a pleasure. Please have your father in-law call me before I leave the states. We need to see if this meeting can be salvaged, the only thing good about this whole day is the food. Give my complements to your cheif as its customary I meet the cook and do it myself, but I am leaving before I do something his parents will regreat." ( Making it clear he won't. ) He doubted anyone else would either, including his own mate. Ezra thought ruefully. " If this cannot be worked out or your Alpha does not get in touch with me before I board my jet, then this pack has seen the last of me, my support, and my warriors. Alex we are leaving this worthless pack, NOW!" Ezra/Maddox commanded using his Alpha tone. Ezra walked himself right out the door with Alex, Cheyenne and Darien on his heels. Alex trying to catch up so he can tend his Alpha properly, and Cheyenne, and Darien trying to get him to reconsider his decision to leave so abruptly.

Ana left her hiding place quickly, going back to her cell with tears running down her face. This was going to be her fate, being lock away and abused for the rest of her life. Today was the first time she had been out of that room since Darien put her there. She knows it will not happen again. Darien had been right she'd stay there until she died. Closing the door behind her she layed down on her pallet and silently cried. A few minuets later she heard the lock click home. It was the loudest and most final sound she has ever heard.

Ezra was fuming in the back seat of the rented SUV. Alex watching him in the rearveiw mirror. Seeing his eyes going back and forth from

Brown to Black, meaning Ezra is not fully in control.

" Maddox will you stop doing that we are not going back, as soon as we cross that boarder we are rejecting her.' Ezra told his wolf. The wolf that as we speak is putting the most horrid images in his head. Shit even he couldn't condone, shit even he would do to a person. Maddox would and has but that was beside the point.

"Maddox Stop, this shit is not funny man; Quit!" Ezra yelled at him again.

" No it is not funny. Our mate is being mistreated in that pack. I could smell her wounds. They are new wounds Ezra, as early as yesterday or even this morning. The blood smelled dried, but not old. Ezra we have to help her. I think she was hiding because she isn't allowed free movement. I also think she was hiding because she was hoping we'd sence, find and rescue her. But we didn't, we were assholes. Ezra she needs help. She is our mate I know she is we can not just leave her there." Maddox said becoming more and more anxious the closer to the boarder we got. Ezra sighing hating the decision he was making looked up at the driver and spoke.

" Go back Alex" Ezra said.

" Alpha? Did you forget something?" Alex questioned his Alpha. One day this would most likely get him killed. You weren't supposed to question your Alpha, or block them out of your head. Those two things tended to get pack members killed or injured more often than not.

" Yes, My Mate. Now turn the fuck around Gamma!" Maddox now had full control.

" Yes Alpha." Alex said he would not question Maddox. Ezra tolarated him and his ways because after the death of his parents, Alex had stayed on in the pack taking the young Alpha under wing and helping him as much as the boy would allow. Alex was in fact much older than Ezra. He had been Alpha Jacob's Beta and best friend all their lives the man had even named Ezra after him. Jacob was Ezra's father. Alex supposed that is why he took the boy in, in the first place, but he loved the child his whole life. Alex's love for Ezra though it could never match that of his own fathers it wasn't far from it. He had been there when the child got his wolf. When Jacob had been so violently killed in front of the boy it made him so angry he shifted but not completely. He had the outter tones and build of a wolf, but he was standing on two legs with fur, fangs and all. He was the most hidous thing Alex had ever seen, the boy kindof reminded him of that ridiculous teens movie that came out in the 80's Teen Wolf he tought it was called, only there was nothing cute about Maddox. The large Midnight Black wolf/human mix was the scariest fucking thing he had ever seen as well as the most dangrous deadly wolf he had ever seen. Ezra was 12, and because of the monster that was forced from him he was the most ruthless boy in the world. Alex had watched as the boy he knew and loved turned into a demon. Watched as his wolf slowly but surely took over. Now the beast inside could lock Ezra away in his own mind whenever the mood struck. On full moons the wolf went crazy. Crazy to the point that any lower ranking wolves in our pack was locked away, as well as Ezra's remaining family members. Alex had prayed the boy never found his mate or took on a chosen one, but now that he has...

Alex felt sorry for the girl because it would appear Maddox could not leave here without taking her with him, even though it looked like Ezra had tried to do just that. Alex knew if Maddox knew that his mate was in this pack then so did Ezra. Well this explained a lot. Alex continued to think.

" Alpha. We will be arriving back at the pack house soon. Are you sure she is your mate, and why didn't we take her when we left before." Alex quetioned more out of curiosity than anything. He did notice the shift in his Alpha's temper so he added quickly.

" I am not quetioning you Alpha. I would never disrespect you in such a way. I am only curious, as to why we did not take your mate when we left. Alpha you were so upset I did not think you'd want to come back for any reason. Just as I know it does not matter what Alpha Green says, or if he catches us before we get on the jet or not, you will cut our ties with this pack. That is why I asked those questions Alpha. Not to disrespect but to understand." Alex explained.

" I told Ezra our mate was in this pack Alex, he said we were not leaving with a mate. He said we'd reject her, I want to agree with him I do. I know who I am Gamma." Maddox said almost sadly.

" So we left with the plan to reject her as soon as we crossed the pack boarder, but there was a sent mixed with hers. I couldn't place it at first. Alex, Ezra decided we'd go back. I just want you to know that he is not aware of anything right now. If I have to hurt someone to remove my mate." Maddox paused and took a deep breath. " I do not want him to see. I have known for a long time you were aware of my abilities. Alex you have been our Gamma for as long as we have been Alpha. But you have been our father since ours was killed. I know what Father meant to you, and I know what Ezra means to you still. I love my human and have blocked his mind from most of the horriable shit I have done over the years. I know you know this too. Its because of the love you have for my human and the respect you have always given me, even though I scare the living daylights out of you, that I have let you live with this knowlage. Also my human and I both see you as our father its not just Ezra, Alex I'd kill to protect you. I know I can trust you with our lives, and you know that isn't something I do lightly or ever." He told Alex, though he was pissed off he never let it show in his voice while he told Alex what was on his heart.

" Alex, the sent that was mixed with mates. It was blood, dried but not older than yesterday. And Darien's. I have not told Ezra. But I believe the fuck tard of an Alpha is hurting my mate. That is a death sentance. I may not want to keep her Alex but I will be damned if anyone hurts her. Yes I know hypocritical. I promise as soon as she is safe I will let her go. I do not want to hurt her. I also know I will, because I can not always control myself." Maddox told his Gamma and friend. Maddox told him everything that had happened while inside the Red Dawns pack house between him and Ezra.

" Alpha, You are right about most of that. Yes you scare me. But I love you as I do Ezra. I have been watching over you as well, but you are right. You and Ezra are like no other I have ever seen. Its almost like Ezra's Split personality has a split personality." Alex chuckled.

" Alpha if she is being abused and by the current Alpha's son how are we going to get her out of here?" Alex asked as he put the vehical in park, now facing the pack house once again.

" I am going to walk my a... What the fuck!" Maddox exclaimed cutting himself off midsentance as the attic widow exploded and a young woman burst out of it and landed on the ground, then took off limp running into the woods and out of sight.

Meanwhile in the attic room Ana was still sobbing on her pallet.

" Ana! Get up. If Darien came up and locked us in then our mate really doesn't want us and has left pack territory. It's time we leave this place." Aaliyah told her human.

" How we are locked in again." Ana sobbed.

" Yes but we are powerful, you know its important to keep me hidden. But we are not weak. That is everyones misconception about us, that is their failing not ours. We can get out of here." Aaliyah told her, though she already knew these things Aaliyah had to keep reminding her they were not weak because of the constant abuse they had endured over the years.

" I am going to come fully forward and push you back, no one will know its me in control if we see anyone on our way out of this shit hole, okay." Aaliyah explained, she didn't like fully taking control without telling Ana first. It scared her when she didn't know what was going on. Aaliyah knew that, so she tried not freak her out anymore than necessary.

" Okay, but will you let me back in control soon?" Ana asked. Ana was tired, her mate didn't want her so she had her own plans. Going Rogue was not one of them.

"Yes, as soon as we are outside the house." Aaliyah said, then she pushed Ana out and took over their body and mind. Ana was in the darkest part of her own mind, she had been here a lot, sometimes she got a warning and sometimes she didn't. She was afraid of it but she could live with it.

Aaliyah backed up against the door, and ran full force toward the window. Pushing her power out, the window exploded as she jumped out at the same time the glass burst into a million pieces. Giving Ana control as they were running through the forest.

Ana looked at her surrounding and turned to the left. She had no desire to live any longer. Her Mate all but rejected her and she didn't want to live like a rogue. She ran straight for Clear Lake, right out onto the dock and right into the water below. She closed her eyes and let herself sink down, down, until she was once again asleep.

Maddox told Alex to wait in the SUV, he then lit out, running behind his mate. If he were a predator she'd be dead already. She was not paying attention to where she was going or who was around her. She was running towards the boarder then she turned left running quiet fast for a human with an injured leg. She ran right off into the lake that was just inside this packs territory, and sank down. Maddox propped himself up on a tree and waited for her to resurface. He waited, and waited, and waited..... Wait how long had she been down there.

" Alex!" Maddox yelled through the mind link.

" Yes Alpha." Alex said.

" Follow my sent to this big ass lake, My Mate has jump off in there. Alex she hasn't come back up yet." Maddox told him.

" Alpha how far is the lake?" He asked.

" About 5 Minutes running at a limp. I think she has broken bones in her leg and she is bleeding. I can smell the blood." Maddox told Alex.

" Alpha, you have been out of the car for over 10 minutes. If she has not surfaced she is drowning!" Alex exclaimed.

" I know, I have gone in after her. I need you on that dock when I get her. Bring our towels out of the over night bags too." Maddox said.

" Yes Alpha, Way ahead of you on that one." Alex said.

Alex had driven the SUV as far as he could, parking it out of sight being the sun was setting and the SUV was Black it would be hard to see by patrols if they came this way. It would by his Alpha some time. Maybe they can get back out without being seen. Since he had seen no one yet hopefully luck would hold out. Alex saw the lake coming into veiw, it was a beautiful place but Goddess it was huge.

" Alpha I am on the dock. Do you need me to come in and help search. This is a huge ass lake." Alex asked.

" No, I have her. I will surface in just a second." Maddox said.

Maddox surfaced with Ana in his arms. Alex reached out for her. Maddox growled at his outstretched arms.

" Alpha, Please let me take her. I will help bring her on the dock, while you get out and dry off. Alpha let me help you and our Luna." Alex said.

" NO! No one is going to touch her, and Alex she is not my Luna." Maddox said, Pushing his aura out using it like a physical thing. Maddox shot up out of the water landing on his feet with his burden still craddled in his arms. He laid her unconscious body out on the dock, looking down at his mate. Her hair was covering her face, he reached down brushing the hair away. What he saw both capivated him and pissed him off. She winced as his hand touched her face though she was unconscious so he knows it hurt her. He tried to be careful, he also knew that her cheek was broken. She was beautiful, and covered in bruises. He looked her over, from head to foot. Her leg was broken probably from jumping out the fucken window. She had cuts on her, old ones, new ones. The blood he smelled was coming from her side. He carefully lifted her shirt and what he saw tipped him over the edge of his sanity. She had been cut deeply or stabbed in the side. Her landing when she jumped must have opened the wound. It wasn't even three days old he thought. He was going to kill the bastard responsable for this. He felt his control slip, his blood was boiling.

" Alpha. What has happened here?" Alex asked Maddox. He too was angry at the sight.

When Maddox Looked up his eyes were no longer Black they were... Onyx.

Maddox had lost control.

Alex fell back on his ass from the crouching position he was just in. He'd seen this wolf before, felt its rage. This was the wolf that massacred entire packs. If Maddox shifted and released the beast that hid within him there would be no hope for this pack. No one but the children would be left. Maddox even in that form harmed no innocent child. It was that one redeeming trait that gave Alex hope his Alpha could be saved. It was also the reason the Lycon Alpha King had not had him put down years ago. Making him his personal Royal Enforcer instead. Maddox could kill without loosing any sleep at night. He had to get his Alpha outta here, fast.

" Alpha?" Alex said calmly.

" We need to get the woman out of here before the person who has been holding her finds her gone and comes looking for her." Alex tried to reason with him.

" Dead men don't go looking for excaped captives. Do they Alex?" Maddox asked.

No, Alpha they do not, but if what you suspect is true we do not need to go around killing the son of the Alpha of the pack you came to help." Alex said still trying to be the voice of reason.

" Help? This Pack WILL need help Alex, but they will not be getting it from me. They will need saving from me." Maddox said.

" Alpha your mate needs your help. She is in bad shape. We need to care for her first. I have a plan that might get the help she needs as well as punish those who deserve it here. Please Alpha let us leave this place. We can ask the Luna in waiting for permission to take the girl with us." Alex told him.

" I will ask no one to take what is mine Alex." Maddox said sharply.

" Alpha we can not take her without permission from the pack she is from, it is illeagal you know this?" Alex said.

" And who is going to stop me Alex? The man child inside that house. I only wish he would try." Maddox told him , his eyes still Onyx.

" Alpha we..." Alex tried to protest again.

" Alex I understand that you are trying to get me out of this pack, I also know my mate needs help. But if I see anyone from this pack, I will kill them, I will kill them all. I want the person responsable for this, and anyone that knew of it, and Alex I will kill everyone until I get the right ones." Maddox said angrily.

" Yes Alpha. I drove the SUV in until I couldn't so hopefully the night sky will give us cover until we are safely away with your mate." Alex told him knowing that Maddox would wipe this pack clean of the filth that resided here.

Maddox had been performing CPR on his mate all the while talking to Alex and planning a pack massacre. The boy was incredible, no one multitasked like he did. The girl suddenly coughed up water and drew in a deep breath though she didn't open her eyes.

"Ana, I need you to listen to me. Do not open your eyes ok."Aaliyah said.

" Okay but why?" Ana asked her wolf.

" I have been listening to our mate and his third. His name is Alex. He is trying to get our mate to leave and take us with them." Aaliyah started.

" Wait he came back?" She asked.

" Yes, I felt him as he got closer to the pack house right before I jumped out of the window from our cell?" Aaliyah started to explain.

" You jumped out of the window, thats how we got out. No wonder my leg hurts." Ana said.

" Yes, well I jumped out of the window, you jumped off into a deep ass lake knowing we can not swim." Aaliyah snapped.

" Why didn't we drown?" She asked.

" You know we can not. It will be uncomfortable but can not kill us. You know this already. Why you tried I do not know. To answer your question though, our mate went in after us pulling us out and giving us CPR." Aaliyah said.

" Oh." Ana muttered.

" Now listen to me Ana, Our mate needs to think we are not ok. He needs to leave here or he will wipeout our whole pack. He doesn't want us but the bond will not allow him to ignore the condition our body is in. He is so angry his Gamma is having to convince him that we need help more then he needs his vengance. I am going to knock you out again. That way you will not let on we are okay even by mistake. Alright my sweet?" Aaliyah told her.

" Okay, but I am afraid to leave with them Aaliyah. I have heard the stories of his crulty. What if he hurts us too like Darien did?" Ana said uncertinly.

" I will not allow us to be hurt like that again. It was necessary to allow Darien's abuse. I knew he could hurt us, but he could not kill us. Our mate on the other hand I am not certian he could not. I will keep watch over us while you are out. I promise I will protect us." Aaliyah said.

" Okay go ahead." She told her, and with that Ana felt herself go deep into her own mind, knocked out once again. She knew Aaliyah had done the same when she jumped in the lake so she wouldn't feel the pain from her wounds and the drowning.

Once Ana had coughed up the water and was breathing again Maddox picked her up into his arms.

" Alex lets go, where is the truck?" Maddox asked. Though still pissed off.

" Yes Alpha, its this way." He said standing and walking into the trees.

Maddox following the Gamma to the waiting SUV. When they arrived Alex opens the back door. Maddox climbing in with Ana still in his arms looks at Alex and says coldly.

" Get us the fuck out of here before I change my mind. Go straight to the airport. Call them and tell them we better be ready to take of when we pull up on the tarmac." He ordered.

" Already done Alpha, I did that when I was driving to the lake. I knew you'd want to leave quickly as pissed as you were when we left this shitty place the first time." Alex explained.

" Thank you Alex. Call them back and tell them that they have 30 minutes to get a pack doctor on board that plane. They can call any pack but this one understood?" Maddox said as he lowered his face into Ana's neck inhailing her sent trying to calm down. Alex didn't answer his Alpha this time seeing in the mirror that the man was trying to calm himself, so he just picked up his phone and made the call. Now out of the woods Alex drove like a bat out of hell to get them clear of the packs territory. Goddess help whoever steps out in front of them, because he had his Alpha and Luna almost safely out of this place with no casualties, he wasn't stopping for shit until he had them on that plane. Alex thought as he stepped on the excelerator even harder.
