Win Him Over

"So, who do you want?" In Ha draped her arm casually around Rachel as they stared down from their booth at the dance floor.

"This is crazy," Rachel shrugged, "How could we just select some random dude like we are choosing a food off the menu?" She thought they were being weird.

"Well, technically," Allison was by her side in a flash to convince her, "You're going to be eating one of them tonight, if you know what I mean,"

Rachel went beet red in the face. These friends of hers were indeed corrupted. Of course she knew what she meant. Although she hadn't done it yet, she had enough information on those things in her head.

Allison concluded, "In one word, they're still food," and they all laughed, all except Rachel who was honestly still nervous.

"Come on, Rachel," Helen supported, "Just pick a handsome male and Hana would get him for you. Trust us, we'd be there."

"Fine," Rachel said and leaned against the balustrade, looking at the sweating bodies downstairs. Honestly, she didn't know what she was doing so she just pointed randomly at one of the guys dancing in the middle and seemed to be having a good time.

"What about him?" she pointed down.

"Who?"

The four girls leaned closer to see who she selected only for disappointment to spread across their faces.

"Nope."

"No."

"Not happening,"

"Definitely not."

"Why? You said I should choose a handsome dude and he's quite good-looking." She protested.

Helen told her, "Yep, we did tell you that and that's the problem. He's too handsome -"

"And drunk," Hana contributed.

"And surrounded by women on the dance floor. Who knows how many women he has stuck his prick into tonight. As much as we want your first time to be wonderful, we don't need you getting infected with herpes."  Gewn concluded and as soon as she finished speaking, all of them turned to her.

Gwen didn't like talking much, but when she does, she's very thoughtful and might go a little over the top. Well, they loved her nonetheless.

"Gwen does make a fine point though," Allison pointed out.

"Then, what do you want me to do then?!" Rachel was exasperated. This was supposed to be her night - a night where she has enough fun. But then, here she was stuck between choosing a good male that would break her virginity. God, this was sick.

As if she understood her plight, In Ha leaned closer to her stressed friend saying, "Hey, you don't need to break a sweat over this, you just have to pick a somewhat responsible, low key guy that doesn't seem to be a player and herpes infected." She hoped Rachel understood that.

"Yeah, I get the point. But how do you expect me to find that one guy in a sea of....." Rachel suddenly trailed off, her eyes zeroing in on someone.

Her eyes brightened as she pointed to a figure seated in the bar, "I want him,"

The girl followed her direction, again assessing her choice and seeing if it was a good pick.

"And don't tell me I made a mistake again," Rachel warned them, tired of the games already.

The rest of the girls looked at each other and shrugged. They guessed he was a good choice then, not that Rachel was giving them an option.

"It's now left for Hana to do her magic then," Allison announced.

"Yeah, go get him, Hana!" Helen encouraged her, "You can do this! You already caught bigger fries, this one can't be that hard. Nonetheless, no matter  how hard it is, remember, you're doing this for our birthday baby over here!"

"Yeah, get the dude!" Allison screamed above the loud music blasting from the speakers.

"Good luck, I guess," Gwen gave her her blessings.

"In that case, here I go then," In Ha took a deep breath before she left the booth.

Normally, she wasn't nervous and was quite confident of her ability to get the men she wanted, but tonight was important and she couldn't fail because that would be a stain on her clean record.

In no time, In Ha made her way to the bar and finally saw why Rachel picked this guy. He was hot, like really handsome with a dripping sexual appeal, but he was all alone and didn't seem to need company at all. But then, she has dealt with men like him and wasn't discouraged.

"So, who broke your heart?" In Ha snuck upon him and the hot stranger looked up at her for the first time with a surprised look.

She leaned against the bar, staring at him boldly and confidently even though there was a possibility he could demand she leave him alone. But here she was holding his gaze challengingly, interested in his story.

In Ha could feel her friend's boring stares and made no effort to stare back. Right now, she had to focus on winning over this handsome stranger.

"What makes you assume I had my heart broken?" He laughed dryly yet she could sense a hint of amusement in his expression, "I don't remember having it written all over my face."

"Of course, it's not written all over your face else that would be creepy," She said, earning a chuckle from him.

"Yeah, creepy."

"However," In Ha said, "You look like you need a release right now."

"Release, huh?" The stranger said and that was when she realized how ambiguous those words sounded.

"Oops, sorry. I didn't mean in a sexual context, although what I want from you is kind of related to the sexual context, but the point is, you look like you want to blow off some steam and I have a way that is effective for the both of us," She baited him.

He leaned closer, "Are you offering?"

"What?" Her face flushed when she realized what he was saying, "No, of course, not! But my friend is the one offering."

"Oh, your friend now?" the stranger nodded, grinning. He didn't believe her.

"And she's over there," In Ha had no choice but to wave over to them and they waved back from the distance.

The handsome stranger followed her line of view and she saw the look in his eyes and it spoke loudly of disappointment. At that moment, In Ha doubted that she was going to win him over.
