Lost Driver Rescued

It was a dark and stormy night. The wind howled through the trees as Sarah drove down the deserted road, trying to find her way back home. She had taken a wrong turn, and now she was lost in the middle of nowhere.

As she drove on, she noticed a figure walking along the side of the road. Sarah slowed down to get a better look, but the person disappeared into the darkness. She tried to shake off the feeling of unease that crept up her spine.

Just then, her phone rang. It was her best friend, Emily. "Sarah, where are you? I've been trying to reach you for hours!" Emily exclaimed.

"I'm lost," Sarah replied. "I have no idea where I am."

"Stay where you are, I'm coming to get you," Emily said.

Sarah pulled over to the side of the road and waited for Emily to arrive. As she sat in the car, she heard footsteps outside. She turned around, but no one was there. Suddenly, the car door flung open, and a man with a knife jumped into the driver's seat.

"Drive!" he yelled.

Sarah was paralyzed with fear as she stepped on the gas and drove down the road. The man ordered her to take him to the nearest town, but as they drove, Sarah noticed something odd. The man seemed to know the way, as if he had been there before.

As they pulled into the town, Sarah saw Emily's car parked on the side of the road. She swerved the car and crashed into Emily's car, causing the man to hit his head and lose consciousness.

Sarah and Emily called the police, who arrived shortly after. They found out that the man was a notorious serial killer who had been on the run for months. He had been stalking Sarah for weeks, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Sarah was grateful to be alive, but she knew that she would never forget the terror she felt on that dark and stormy night.
