Salvage

Bell looks Moon in the eyes and says "I will start first." Bell takes a deep sigh then says "I am an outsider when it comes to everyone else. I wish for someone by my side. Lastly, I have a secret you might be of interest to you." Moon says "Last lie." Bell is shocked by the fact the Moon talked. Bell thinks for a second and says "Your right and wrong but let's move on."

Moon says "I don't like you. I will murder everyone in this house. I have a dagger on me." Bell is nervous to answer but says "Number two." Moon says with a calm voice "All lies." Moon pulled his hands back and turns to face the corner. Bell goes by to the bed then sleeps. Moon faces the sleeping bell and thinks to himself "Why do I live anyway." Moon pulls out a dagger and just stares at it. Moon puts the dagger back and crawls into the bed with bell since he is cold."

Maria comes in and sees both of them sleeping. Maria closes the door and says "Good night."

The seasons passed and with the seasons came years. Moon was fours years old when he met his new family. Currently, Moon is six years old. Moon wakes up in a bed he shares with bell. Moon sees Bell as his best friend. Moon leaves the house and goes to a nearby lake to freshen up. Moon sees some birds flying in the sky living all happy but even with his new family he still feels like he isn't as happy as he can be.

He goes back to the rundown house. In those two years, Moon has somewhat warmed up to this make-shift family. Bell is waiting for Moon outside the house. Bell says "You freshen up enough." Moon gives a quick glance at Bell. Bell says "You have work today and I'm in charge of you!" Maria comes out of the house with two apples. Maria says "You two should be careful and White since it's your first-day stick close to Bell." Moon gives her a thumbs up. Maria gives both of them an apple. She says "Bell, since your a year older you better protect him." Maria is six years older than Moon but was put with the job of looking after six younger kids including Moon.

Bell says "Come on! We have to go to work now!" Moon leaves with Bell. Moon finishes the apple on the way. Moon decided to work because he felt that it would be better to not be a waste of space as for Bell. Moon had not an idea why Bell was working for. Bell has never been close with the other kids but Moon. Bell has been around him like a leech but leaves for brief moments. At the time Moon thought it was for work but what if it was for something else. Moon always kept everyone at arm's length so he doesn't know people's true nature well.
