Tales of Broken Reincarnations(Dropped)

A very long time ago an evil Goddess made a contract with other Gods. As long as even one of her descendants are good she wouldn't create chaos in multiverse. In a time when that contract is broken a demon opens his eyes. Seeing dreams from a time he wasn't who he is now he looks for answers.

Not that I expected answers, anyway. Feeling refreshed and stronger than ever, I got ready to go on the 3rd floor.

"Nidalia, I will be going."

"What? Where? You have to take me with you."

I sighed. She sounded more willing than I expected her to be.

"I can't do it. I will be teleported to probably another world."

"What happened to our contract?"

She had way too much energy for me to handle.

"Calm your mammalian glands. This is something I have to do alone. Plus, you still haven't mastered the abilities I gave to you."

"But!"

"No buts."

I smiled and patted her shoulder.

"When the time comes, I will need your help. But right now, I need you to stay here and train."

Her strength right now wasn't low. However, considering she wanted to fight against Calamities, she still wasn't there. Even if there was 2 of her, I could defeat both of them.

"It wouldn't be easy though."

"I understand."

She sounded a little disappointed. But even if I wanted to take her with me, I wasn't sure if system would allow it.

"I will be training to achieve my father's martial arts skills. When we meet again, I will be stronger than Asterius! As princess of Brighthide tribe, I promise you that, Master!"

I coughed blood when I heard the word "Master".

"Please no. Boss is enough."

Being called Master felt weird. Boss at least was a little bit better.

"Okay, Boss."

I sighed in relief.

"Okay, see you then."

I waved my hand as I was transported to next floor. First thing I notice was water. I was in water around my chest level.

"A warning would be nice!"

I complained as salty water went inside my mouth.

"Bleghh!"

Awful. I transformed my body to be more adapted to water. Thankfully, even though it didn't evolved in MAX level it could allow me to sprut gills and webbed feet and hand. My tail also transformed into a shape that made easier to swim. But…

"Do I have to swim deeper?"

(This floor's boss is in deeper parts.)

Shit. I was a demon, goddamit! Why I have to swim? Truth to be told, I was afraid of deep waters.

"Fuck it. We are going."

I braced myself. As I put my head under the water, I struggled to breathe for first couple of seconds. I was used to breathing air with my mouth and nose. So using gills felt weird. Also, I realized that my eyes also changed to adapt to see in water. When I first got Beastification, I never imagined it would allow this kind of things. But the fact that it was this useful made me even more angry. That King of Demonic Beasts! If it wasn't for him, it would evolve into even stronger skill! Whatever, when I'll meet him, I am going to punch him for this too. Now, I need to get used to move in water. When I first fought in air and being able to fly, I got used to it quite easily. But now, I doubted it would be same. When I flied, I still was in a similar environment. In this place around me was water. Moving in it was so different than in air.

"I will be able to practice."

I said inside my head when I saw two fish bigger than me swim towards me. They were bigger than me. Covered in silvery scales, their body looked sturdy. Their mouth was also filled with huge teeth. They reminded me off piranhas. One of them opened its mouth even bigger than it was before and tried to bite a chunk off me. I scuffed. Covering my spear with aura and lightning, I slashed it.

"Tough!"

I moved slower in water. So my strikes were weaker. Even then, they would be enough to wound a minotaur. But only damage it done to piranha was breaking several of its huge fangs. Hardness I felt through my spear was unreal.

"So even mobs will be a problem."

Nothing new then. Using Breath of Primordial, I controlled and compressed my lightning and black flames. Adding aura to it, my spear turned into a weapon that could destroy skyscrapers in one casual swing.

"Endure this!"

Since I already swung my spear, I was more acquinted with moving in water. With a black streak of energy, I split the water into two. While it was closed off due rushing water in just a second, it was an impressive sight.

"I guess it would thought like this too."

If it wasn't dead. I was of course talking about the piranha that attacked me. I was able to sever its head with a clean strike. Seeing its friends fate, other one quickly swum away from me. So they were smarter than they looked. They even had sense of self preservation.

"No."

I pulled my arm back. Loading it with energies I possess, I threw it. Flying-swimming?- in sonic speeds, Basat struck the remaing one.

"Using harpoons is a common way of fishing, right?"

I thought to myself. Looking at their corpses, I wished I had a dry place. I haven't eaten something for months. Since I was a demon it was fine but I missed Minerva's cooking. Seeing this big of a fish, I wanted to eat it.

"I am such an asshole."

Minerva nearly died to save me and I thought of eating. They could be torturing her as I stood here, salivating over a fish. Since I couldn't use Devourer yet, I let those bodies to sink deeper. While I watched them sink, I also looked deeper.

"I can't see the bottom."

Even with my Clairvoyence, bottom wasn't visible. I wasn't really sure if it was because of it was that deep or light didn't reached to it

"Maybe both."

Using Arcane Magic I created a ball of light. I had to focus a little to maintain it but it wasn't really problem.

"Let's go and kill that boss."

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
