Prologue

In the beginning the humans ruled the land with technology far beyond our understanding. All was right in the world. A Great age of peace and prosperity where no man, woman or child went hungry,but peace is fragile and war soon engulfed the world and fire rained down upon the land the seas dried up, the sky turned black and the sounds of war raged on for generations. With nowhere to go some of the surviving humans chose to hide themselves away underground others fled to areas that remain untouched by the devastation.

Now after three hundred years those humans who hid beneath the earth finally emerged only to find most of the land barren. The areas that the fires fell became vast waslands the humans named these areas the deadlands. Having no choice but to find a place to settle the remaining humans spread out throughout the land.

It's been thirty years since we've emerged from the tunnels that our ancestors built to protect us, several towns have been established notably to the west of the deadlands the town of Selt where a group calling themselves the seekers have established a trade caravan between Selt and The southern town of Vale and the northern town of Markers point with plans of heading through the deadlands to the east. The caravan is always looking for new hires as the gold desert between Selt and Vale is dangerous with the monsters that infest the desert the sandstalkers take out most who travelthroughthe area ,the chared Forrest that surrounds markers point has the volkhounds that stalk the terrain.

Thanks to the seekers knowledge ,agriculture and sanitation where rediscovered and has gained the seekers a good reputation with the people however the seekers also recovered something else in their travels an ancient book detailing something called output that can call upon the forces of the world to manifest the will of the caster into reality. this information must remain well guarded because if it fell into the wrong hands what remains of humanity could be in danger of another great calamity.

The gods of the old world vanished from memory and in their place new gods took hold.
