Chapter 20: Hunger for Legacy

One of their knights reported about a countless large insect swarming in the forest. They are like leeches but is larger and is glittering like a jelly. It imitates the color of any skin it grazes and would sucked the blood. Even the plants were damaged. The bloodsuckers crawls persistently and in a colonel formation. The dwarves were plundered and are now evacuating to the giant's houses.

Kiel wrote a letter to infrom the King regarding the alien insects. Cyrus Radney's reply was delivered earlier than they expected.

He gave them the authority to meddle and this will be part of their assignment. King Cyrus also notified that they need to dig deeper on this.

Lila and Natalina joined the females to harvest some fruits and vegetables. Urchin stayed with Kiel as they strategize with Von and Wee to prevent more casualties. Lehi and Ophir joined in the medical team to inspect and scrutinized with them.

Hexel is doing some rounds when a white sand tried to annihilate all they gathered. Hexel prayed and is given with a hoe.

Hexel safe guard the collectors but he got absorbed by the white sand and perished on sight. The dwarves run back to their tents and informed the gang about Hexel's abduction.

This alerted the gang. They searched and investigated the stones. With the ancient words gathered by Hexel's team and it lead them to one answer. It says "ih lubēre yūyam."

This words confused the dwarves and the giants because the very essence of the word is warm and sweet.
