Sinking Deeper

The photoshoot for Cattleya skincare took place at the end of January.

The concept was Gwen being super busy as a queen and she didn't have enough sleep. But thanks to Cattleya skincare, she still appeared radiant during her busy day.

They shot her ad like a normal day when she's working at her office, signing documents and meeting people. She wore a Chanel jacket and skirt, looking formal yet really pretty.

Harry Whitfield visited during the filming, cheering for her. Rainier didn't visit the filming, but made Sally report everything.

When the advertisement aired, Galsbourg bought so much Cattleya products that it sold out everywhere.

Rainier saw the advertisement online, and thought Gwen looked really beautiful.

It was posted on Cattleya's youtube channel right before lunch. When it's lunch time, he surprised Gwen and her staff for visiting her office.

"Leave us," he said to everyone, and they were alone in a matter of seconds.

Gwen was sitting behind her desk, reading an article about elementary school education in the kingdom, since the next day she's going to visit a school.

She halted her reading when she realized he wasn't speaking. She gave him her attention, "Why are you here?"

It's another situation where he wanted to say a lot of things, but in the end only said, "The ad was really nice."

"Which ad?" she played, wanting him to speak clearer. Wasn't it funny? He's a king. He learnt how to speak well since he was a child. But he couldn't speak when it's about his feelings.

"Cattleya," he replied briefly, his eyes were bright with mirth.

"Did you mean the directing was nice?"

He looked down, touching along the line of the mahogany desk with the tip of his forefinger, smiling.

"You look pretty in the ad," he finally said.

She smiled, "I don't think I'll ever get used to this queenly things."

"I think you're doing well," he denied, "Really well."

"Ok. That's enough for me to handle in one afternoon. Please go back to your office."

"You can't dismiss the reigning king in his own kingdom."

"Yes, I can. I can't focus if you're here."

"Why not?"

"You're just too much."

He got up, "Have lunch with me."

"Aren't you just going to call the chefs to bring us something?"

"No, I want to go out."

"But--it's cold outside!"

"There's a heater in the car, and in the restaurant. Besides, if you're really cold, I'll warm you up when we return."

She raised her eyebrows. "You want to dine at a restaurant?"

"Yes."

"Which one?"

"Whichever you want. You can choose."

That made Gwen wore her coat and agreed to go out with him.

Gwen Hamilton was really the only woman who could make him lose control, Rainier thought.

There were a lot of moments where he felt dizzy in her presence. And what almost terrified him was that, those moments were not only in bed. He felt a little dizzy that cold afternoon, sitting in an Italian restaurant, watching her had pizza and cola.

She liked to have her hair out of the way when she's eating. She told him about how she felt with the Cattleya's ad that had been posted on youtube and that she was the model.

"It doesn't feel real. But I guess there has been a lot of things that don't feel real for me, and there will always be, as long as I'm here."

His consciousness returned with that. "You'll always be here."

She froze at that, and continued munching again as if he didn't say it.

"You haven't eaten anything. Finish your meal, I'm sure your next appointment is already at the palace."

He stared at his plate.

"Why? Do you think the food is too cheap?"

"No. I'm just not used to eating mixed foods in a plate."

"Huh?"

But then Gwen understood. In the palace, he had only one dish per plate, and it's usually small portions. He could have five things, but he wouldn't put it all at the same time on his plate.

Gwen had put pizza, fettucine, fried chicken, a bruschetta and some salad on his plate. He's confused with the full plate. At the palace, he'd eat them all on five separate servings on five different jade plates, all in small portions.

"This is how the normal people eat, Rainier. Haven't you gone to the Naval Academy? You eat the same things like the other soldiers, right? I'm sure it wasn't like the palace."

"It's different. In the navy, we ate with a stainless steel tray that had partitions on it. It wouldn't mix the food. I don't think I'll eat this one."

"It tastes the same as in five jade plates, and it's a lot simpler."

He stared at the full plate skeptically, and finally tried the fettucine.

"How is it?"

"It's...not bad."

"I told you so! Go on, eat with me."

As he slowly finished his meal, Gwen continued to chatter about her work and her worries for her upcoming schedules, where she would meet more people of Galsbourg.

Ah, Rainier thought, "a date" felt like this.

As he had told her before, he slept with a lot of girls, but he never had a relationship. He thought being happy just from being with a girl, without sex, was just a myth created by melancholic people. But apparently, they were true.

He's sinking deeper in love with Gwen Hamilton, simply by having lunch with her at a pizzeria.

*****************************************************

She wasn't surprised when he locked her office door once they returned. She knew he wanted it, and wouldn't be able to wait until that night. She could feel it from the way he looked at her during their lunch. It was hot and searing on her skin.

He pushed her to the wall and kissed her eagerly, his hands were reaching, lifting at her skirt.

He's inside her far too soon, so it was a little painful, but she could bear it, because he was rasping, "I love you," the whole time, and was gentle for as long as he could.

He was desperate for her, gripping at her body and inhaling the perfume on her neck like she's oxygen. She wasn't really doing anything much, all she did was letting him have his way. But when she did something, he nearly screamed an "Oh, God!"

All she did was circling her arms around his neck, pulling him closer, and he wanted to explode within her pores.

Gwen wouldn't be able to explain it, since she had never been with anyone else, but she sensed his desperation when they're in the middle of passion.

Whenever they had sex, Rainier was afraid that it would all end. Or that he would lose her. It felt so good that he's terrified of what would happen if they were not together. It wrecked him, how those thoughts could cross his mind when he's moving inside a woman. It had never happened until Gwen.

"I'm here," she whispered. "Don't worry, I'm here."

She instinctively knew what he needed to hear.

Emotions made him thrust harder, always.

She hooked a leg behind him and kissed him. He kissed her back. And just like that, she healed him.

He felt safe, healed, and loved. She's his salvation. There's really no other way.

Gwen closed her eyes, and let him have his chase of release.

A sweet chapter. He's coping with his intense emotions and she's accepting him.
