"I think that senior sister is not that bad." She approached he could feel a fragrance, it reminded him of a certain scent of flowers. He actually had this illusion he was standing among them. "What flowers are they again?" He actually felt he had forgotten them.
She took out a book from somewhere and threw it to him. Holding it,he felt his hands shaking slightly
"Damn! I have gotten myself a pit. I should be very careful from now on, and make sure not to get in trouble that ends up leading to the pit taking form." He lamented internally, as his hands were very honest. They held onto the book firmly.
"Next time we meet I hope you have at least reached the state of vitality or this senior sister will break all your legs." She looked him up and down before rushing off, vanishing from Wang Lu's sight.
When Wang Lu looked in the direction that the woman had disappeared, he put took out the book Cai Yue had thrown to him. He at least had to see if it had anything suspicious for her to force him to learn.
"I just don't know what makes this woman claim that this book can make someone invincible! Doesn't she know that this words are enough to bring about trouble." He thought to himself.
As he looked at the cover, he just realized nothing could be seen. It had no name on it, so he sighed.
"Is this the Nameless Scripture or something?" He joked as he looked at the book cover without a name.
What she didn't know was that Cai Yue was hidden observing his every movement.
"What a crafty brat! He actually thinks that I would decieve him. This love gu is indeed not something trivial, I actually gave him this book. Back then I faced a lot of trouble just to get this book from that clan, their physique was almost comparable to my kind after they practiced it to the limit. If their dead souls could hear what the brat just called their remaining inheritance, I wonder how they would react." She thought to herself.
She was aware of the simplest way to handle the effect of the Love Gu. But at this moment, if was useless even if she knew, and the technique she gave out was more for this reason. Deep down, she was acting based on her rational nature.
Instead of continuing to observe him, she went back towards the tomb to rest and recover slowly.
She had seen what she wanted and didn't see anything else to watch.
Wang Lu that didn't know this, opened the first page of the book. Even though the language was somewhat strange, he seemed to be able to understand. Or some voice in his head kept allowing him to understand.
"This! Don't tell me it is her doing!" He indeed was not a fool. He could already tell this language couldn't be understood by himself. The fact he could understand meant something else was at play. But he was wrong, Cai Yue didn't do anything. The book was written with a strong intent. Naturally to understand what was written would be easy by almost anyone as long as this intent remained.
On the first page, he could see something like pictures, only they seemed too vivid. He had a feeling they where actually moving.
What was even more impressive was the information he kept reading.
'The path of strengthening oneself in essence goes against nature. Since it is against nature, one must suffer retribution from nature again and again.' he looked at the book again and thought, "What an opening statement!"
But then he seemed to think of something, before almost jumping up in shock.
"What is this retribution? What is this going against the heavens?" He was lamenting internally.
He then saw the next statement that almost made him choke.
'Following the way of heaven and earth makes one a mortal while going against the heavens makes one an Immortal!' After reading this, he started to think he was hallucinating.
He had to struggle hard to calm himself down. "Be more stable! Be more stable! We have the Enlightenment chances. As long as we accumulate enough enlightenment, what can't we accomplish!"
He calmed himself down a little. He continued to read the book but felt as just reading
A few lines, his blood was surging, as though he was ready to become the main character and supress the masses.
He had a strange feeling that after practicing this technique, one might not be able to help themselves but before arrogant. But remembering the cold eyes from that devil, he shivered slightly.
He held the book closely, afraid of he lost it, that devil might come for him.
He confined to look through, he couldn't help himself. Based on what she had said only learning partial would allow his strength to become invincible, how could he stop himself from looking.
He might not have the intent to go around challenging those on the same level as suppressing them, but if he could be capable of such feats, why would not learn. It was what he called, 'being able but not doing it'.
If Cai Yue heard what he was thinking she would probably roll her eyes at him. She had never heard of someone claiming they just wanted to attain invincibility, not because of showing off, just because it could come in handy.
After looking through the set of exercises he could already guess the first stage was clearly based on body tempering and it was even more thorough. He wouldn't pass up such a chance.
The most important aspect was that this Nameless Scripture actually had been very detailed in body refinement. It specifically targeted the entire body, then the bones, tendons, and finally internal organs.
The more he looked the impressed he become, because it had some boxing moves after the end of the body refinement stage.
"Interesting! I heard that after entering the Human commander stage, we could collect martial arts skills and train in them. But it is advised to reach the Human General stage first!" He thought as he looked at the set of boxing techniques.
He had no intention of practicing them, as his main goal was to practice all the martial arts he had collected from the library and the one from his grandmother. Then finally this Nameless Scripture was the last on the list.
"It's time!"
