The Hunter in the Cadets

Back in the Trost district, Eren was paid 50 coppers for the kill. Normally you would be paid more than a silver coin, but he was an orphan and he was a child so no one cared but they weren't stupid enough to steal too much money from him.

Leaving Carl, Eren walked back towards the fields with his equipment and everything because recently they had given him these things permanently.

"Hey, look. It's the Hunter."

"Oh, yeah. Look how cool and strong he looks."

"I know right."

Eren paid no mind, he never cared for others like he did Mikasa and Armin, especially Mikasa. She was his soul for the body, the bread to the butter she was his purpose and everything.

He continued walking towards the fields and put his gun in his cloak, due to Eren finding out he could change his belongings into words on a piece of paper that flew around him. Invisible to others.

Arriving at the field, Eren looks around for Mikasa and Armin. Not finding them he continued to walk across the road and looked around, he would eventually find the two working together on the farmland digging up dirt to plant seeds.

He walked up to Mikasa, casting a shadow over her and she turned around quickly only to have the hoe taken from her. After taking the hoe from her Eren started digging up the dirt, of course, Mikasa attempted to stop Eren and take her hoe back but eventually gave up and was left standing.

Armin noticed the quiet scenario and sighed.

"Eren, how was hunting?" Mikasa's face shone and smiled.

"Yes! What did you hunt?!" Mikasa being energetic as always hugged Eren's back, he looked at the two and spoke.

"Good, I hunt a deer." 

Both Mikasa and Armin smiled because during this time Eren had hunted around 5 deers and unlike before where he could get its hide and antlers, he got 100 coppers. And so over time, Eren had accumulated from killing critters and deer over 1,000 coppers or 10 silvers, which could equal 1 Gold. However, even though 1 Gold was exchanged for 10 silver commoners and lower class people weren't allowed any, and Gold was worth more than 10 silver.

So at this point, Eren could have bought a little one-room home that was more shed than a home for the three, but Mikasa and Armin voiced that the money Eren had should be kept safe and used later as they were already given a home and food due to being minors from Shiganshina District.

When the two had calmed down in their excitement, Armin then became nervous. He breathed deep and exhaled long, his eyes would shoot to Eren and Mikasa to the hoe.

"U-um, I want... I want to... I want to join the Scout Regiment." Although it was a whisper, Eren and Mikasa could hear it quickly.

Mikasa's heart almost jumped out of her chest, Eren originally wanted to join but after the Titans attacked that thought was never mentioned. Now it was Armin who wanted to join the Scouts.

"Armin, no I won't allow that." Mikasa stated, over the two years Eren and Mikasa acted as Armin's parents unknowingly, and it became so prominent that Eren would take action.

Boom.

Boof!

Armin slammed into the ground aggressively.

"Armin!" Mikasa crouched to Armin, due to Eren's punch Armin collapsed to the ground face first covering himself in the dirt.

"No." Eren stated lifting Armin by the collar and shoving his hoe into his arms, forcing Armin to get back to work without debate.

They spent the next 2 hours not talking, and this continued on the way back to the warehouse after they had eaten their dinner. 

Inside the warehouse, you could see a bruised Armin sleeping on Eren's bag while Eren and Mikasa walked outside. After closing the warehouse door, Mikasa looked at Eren's face, still covered by his deer mask.

"Eren! Why'd you do that?! Armin's dream may be crazy, but it isn't right to hit him for it." Mikasa over the years had gained more freedom in her opinions and voice, and even though Eren didn't like fighting with her he was happy she could talk freely.

"Eren, say something!" A moment of silence came, Mikasa thought he wouldn't talk so she decided to turn and walk back inside.

"If he can't fight," Eren spoke, and Mikasa turned to look at him.

"Then he shouldn't dream." Hearing this Mikasa understood, she understood that Eren hit Armin to try and teach him to fight back. But sadly that wouldn't work with someone like Armin, so she hugged Eren from the front.

"Instead of hitting him, why not teach him after working tomorrow." She looked at Eren with a smile and Eren just looked back with his flat eyes. Mikasa unhooked his deer mask and gave him a light kiss on the lips.

After that Mikasa left to go to bed, leaving Eren to his thoughts and he pondered about what she said. Eventually, he agreed to her thoughts and made a plan to not only train Armin but to also join the Scouts to watch over him.

And so over the next two weeks, Armin was trained aggressively by Eren helping him build muscle and build up his pain tolerance. Mikasa also helped Armin with his reaction speed and his combat skills.

Eren at this time gained 54 coppers and [270 Gold pieces].

Eren brought two pieces of Green paper with white writing in front of him.
