Ch 3 : Duality

After 2 days , Ayaan was now in his home. The Walton's Family had huge property at the center there was a palace where the leader lives besides on its right side a similar type of palace just not that large belonged to the 2nd in command and on the left the Training area was present for the family descendants. Those three bulidings where secured inside a wall with high security system. On the outside There were houses for the families of workers, Walton's Army's , and other people who directly belonged or not to the family. It was also secured by a large wall around it and a highly tight security system.

Ayaan's family used to live in those houses. It was a big house for a family of three , well furnished, everything available neat and clean with workers available for cooking , cleaning and other jobs. Despite being the direct descendant of the Walton's family in a week's time he spent there before the Advaya assessment only a handful people came to see him. His Sisters, Kratos Walton with His daughter and Son and some others who knew Charles and Jane. But His grandfather the leader of The Walton's Oath Walton and Commander Rake Walton who didn't came. Everyone was sure of Ayaan being a powerless child so they don't seem to give their precious time wasting to see him. His sisters Came to do the formalities not interested in Ayaan at all. But Kratos was different he came with joy spend some time with them talked to Ayaan , got them gifts. He was always good to his brother from their childhood. Ayaan understood the whole situation which he and his family was in. He also started hoping as he didn't knew what Advaya meant so he was simply hoping that his all wish of his parents to be fulfilled on tomorrow in the assessment.

The day is finally here which will decide the future will change or the present will continue in same manner. Ayaan was feeling strange he wasn't able to decipher what that feeling was and why was he feeling until his mom said "Are You also nervous my Son" . And he suddenly understood everything about that feeling. He was trying to calm himself when his father entered the room and said " the car is on outside waiting for us , let's go ."

On the way to the facility he saw many things everything seemed to futuristic to him like he had seen the basic version and now witnessing the advanced version of everything for the first time. There are flying Cars, 3D advertisement, AI robot handling whole traffic system , Car was also on AI mode which can talk to you like a normal person and many more things.

They reached the facility, upon entering they saw the line which was so huge that it would take atleast 6 hours for their turn. He stood in line and made his wife and son to wait in the waiting room. After six hours he finally reached end of line he called his family from the waiting room. It was their turn and they entered the room of Advaya assessment together.

There were 4 people inside the room who were members of the facility. Charles had seen 3 genius Children in 6 hours line one had a great skill and other two High Rank of Advaya. He was hoping the same for his son.

One person took Ayaan's blood through a syringe to check the amount of Advaya and the others guide them to the skill measuring machine . The Machine looked like a futuristic device to Ayaan. Ayaan made to wear a connector on his head.

After 10 minutes the connector was removed. They said to wait for 10 minutes till the report to be made .

For the next 10 minutes they were silent not a single word was spoken they felt it like an hour. Then the 4 members who were responsible for the Advaya assessment came to them with the report they were not looking good a strange expression was on everybody's face .

Finally there was a voice after 10 minutes of silence. Charles spoke " What is it ? How was the assessment? Our son has talent or not ? "

" Yes sir your Son definitely has talent "

" Whaaat.... Really ! You are not lying to me . Are you ?"

" No Sir , he has the talent. He is even the first Person in the entire Defra To get 2 Advaya Born Skills ."

Charles and Jone both was shocked they were not able believe what the facility member was saying. Advaya Born skill were in born skills which a person gets after he just borned. Whoever has Advaya has one Advaya Born Skill too but the point is everyone has only one. And it is a skill which differentiate you from others as it is unique given to only one person. It it is an of Good rank your future is secured from infantry.

" What are the skills and it's rank " Charles asked in hurriedly manner.

" The Two Skills are Duality and Absorber"

" Can you provide us the description and rank of the skills "

" Off course Sir "

" Absorber in an B rank skill which makes a person to learn anything fast from others and never forget what you learned "

" And Duality has no description"

" What is it's rank "

" Sorry Sir it has no rank either "

This was first time when someone got a skill not ranked and without description in Advaya Assessment.

Charles and Jane were confused what to make of it . But they were happy rather of rank or number of skills they were happy their son atleast got something.

Now it was time for Advaya Skill determination for which the blood was taken

One of members opened a file on his device and said

"He has Rank 3 Advaya"

There are total 15 Ranks In Advaya the Higher you are the stronger you would be. A new born has average of Rank 2 and some also has Rank 1. The geniuses are born with Rank 5 like Kratos. Despite Ayaan not being a genius his parents didn't mind it at all Rank 3 was something amazing in eyes of Charles and Jane who were not Talented at all.

Smile from their faces were not fading for a single second.

On his back home Ayaan thought while seeing the Description of Duality " If they knew about duality they would have fainted in the facility "

"Duality... it's a cheat like skill basically "

Ayaan said to his innerself.
