Essence of Blueflame

Lee who was engrossed in his own world suddenly felt a strange presence scan his body it was brief, it even felt as though it never happened, the presence wasn't violent rather it was very gentle, but Lee didn't think of it, all his thought was poured into Blueflame.

Blueflame kept flashing in air, Lee's control was very smooth it felt as though Blueflame was a extension of his body. Each stab, arc, thrust destroyed several golden fragments.

Few breaths passed, though Lee still appeared to be composed and unmoved, his body was filled with several cuts.

Lee seemed to have entered a very strange state, he could not sense any other thing apart from Blueflame, even the pains caused by been slashed by some of the fragments didn't seem to affect him.

He felt like he had returned to the day he summoned Blueflame, the Blueflame in his hand to him was no longer the metal sword but the sword totem.

The sword totem felt like as though a sea of ice was flowing endlessly inside of it.

The connection between him and Blueflame felt so perfect, he could feel every cells in his body ring in joy as he held Bluefleme, the more he clashed with the fragments with Blueflame the more the connection grew stronger, it was more of, he was on a journey seeking gold and every step he took kept bringing him closer to the treasure.

As Lee was enjoying the hard to come by moment, the atmosphere in the arena was starting to become tensed, everywhere appeared to be normal, they could still see flashes of blue light in the cloud of golden fragments, the skies were still dark, stars still shingng bright, and the wind blowing gently, the only outlandish thing was that, the arena suddenly began to get cold, they were cultivators with Spirtual energy, so the cold of the night wind had no effect on them.

A strange frigid energy was steadily circulating and spreading in the atmosphere of the the arena, they had to constantly eddy Spirtual energy in their bodies to keep them warm or else they would have been fidgeting from cold.

"Senior Brother Six, could it coming from him" the lady referred to as junior sister eight couldn't help but ask.

"I can't tell for now" Senior Brother Six said as he gently stroked his nose.

While everyone was confused, Lee was also in this state of confusion, he suddenly found himself standing on a frozen sea, he could no longer see the arena, or the fragments or even Blueflame.

He knew well enough that this wasn't his body in the new environment, it was his consciousness that was pulled into this space it was just like the time he summoned his totem.

No one was able to notice any change in Lee as he was still swinging around Blueflame, but the only slight difference was that his actions were more barbaric, like a beast that acted on instincts, in a way this could be used to describe Lee's present condition he was acting on instincts gathered from years of wielding the sword.

"The aura of this place is very familiar" Lee couldn't help but ponder as he scanned his environment, but all he could see was an endless expanse of ice.

"I don't think I'm meant to keep standing here" Lee chorlted as he took a step forward, but to his suprise the distance the covered in just one step surpassed that he would have covered if he walked a thousand steps, it felt like he had teleported.

Lee shook his head in disbelief and took another step, just like before he covered a large distance of area, no matter how he thought of it, he couldn't understand how he was able to use a step to cover several distance, he knew he was far from accomplishing it, so it wasn't him causing such phenomenon.

After pondering for a while, he stared at the far distance and without pausing he began to walk, if any outsider was here watching Lee they would notice that with every step he would flash like an apparition and appear hundreds of meters ahead.

This continued for a long while, and to Lee it felt as though he had been walking for days, confusion was written all over his face, was his counciousness pulled here to just walk?

He was already at the brink of screaming out in anger, when he noticed that every step he took was now covering the normal distance it should, a glint of joy couldn't help but flash in his eyes, at least something different had happened.

He scanned his new environment, there was no much difference from the other places all he could see was a large expanse of ice.

While Lee was scanning the area, his eyes suddenly caught a faint light shining at a distance.

He immediately began to walk briskly towards the direction he saw the light, the closer he got the brighter the source of light became, this made him so excited that he began to increase his pace of walking that he began to walk partly and run partly.

With Lee's pace, it took him only few breaths to arrive at the point where the light emanated from.

Lee had his mouth wide open as he stared at a huge ball of icy-blue light that could compared in size with an elephant.

The most shocking part was that Lee could sense a more terrifying presence behind the huge ball of icy-blue light, but he couldn't dare try to check what it was as the aura it was emanating was so strong that it made cold shiver flow through Lee's spine.

Lee felt as though he was staring at the essence of Blueflame, anytime he gazed at the collosal icy-blue light.

He didn't know when his body began to move towards the huge icy-blue light.

He closed his eyes after arriving in front of the collosal light, he slowly placed his hands on the body of the ball of light and in the next instance, What filled his ear was a pumping sound which wasn't too slow or too fast, it was just moderate it felt like an heart beat, Lee could feel with his hands how the energy in the ball was flowing in certain pattern, it was like music melody to Lee's ears.

Lee still with his hands placed on the ball sat in a lotus position, and began to comprehend the mysteries behind the ball, he wanted to become one with, to synchronize with every of it's melody.

Time kept racing and Lee still had his hands placed on the icy-blue light, in the space of the sea of ice Lee had spent several days comprehending the humongous ball of icy-blue light, but in the arena it was only few breaths of time.

"Ding!"

A strange sound suddenly rang out from Lee's body which have been still for a long while, it sounded like the sound a metal echoes out when hit by an hammer.

"Ding!"

"Ding!"

"Ding!"

"Ding!"

The hammering sound began to ring out consecutively from Lee's body.
