Chapter 8 The Slander
"What's wrong? Isn't it inappropriate?" Laura nearly can't help smiling, especially for Lily's funny expression, which was like eating shit.
"No. Hurry up." Lily's attitude was much colder than before.
Accompanying the frustration all the way, Lily felt relief when she arrived at the party. Lily was the apple of her family, who grew up in love. In the top drawer of New York society, she's really in her element at parties.
On the contrary, Laura was forgotten.
