Poison cuts poison and crazy cuts crazy

Azalea gulped a few times, blinking at the man hovering over her.

"Move!" Azalea ordered, shoving his arm away and walking towards the sofa and sitting down.

Adam chuckled softly, "Tea or Coffee?" He asked, walking towards the beverage table on the left side of the room.

"Whiskey with ice." Her response caught him by surprise. Adam took a glance at her, and seeing her seated unhinged in her place he sighed. Pouring her a glass of whiskey and giving it to her.

"Thanks," Lea remarked, taking the glass from her hand. She took a sip before putting it down on the table," Now, let's come to the topic, shall we?" With a sweet smile, she quoted, staring at the man sitting across her.

"And that is?" Adam inquired, arching a brow.

"The audacity of you to send a marriage proposal." Azalea tried to calmly answer, whilst getting her teeth in fury.

Adam kept a stoic face, nodding to her words," Isn't that what you are supposed to do if you wish to marry someone?"

"Are you crazy!?!" Azalea yelled, standing up from her seat.

"What's crazy about asking the hands of my future wife? That's the bare minimum." Adam calmly explained.

"Are we lovers?"

"We will be."

"Are we interested in each other?"

"Yes, otherwise we wouldn't have kissed the other day."

Azalea was left speechless by his answers. "Did you fall on your head when you were a child? How braindead are you?!" Azalea yelled, curling up her fingers into a fist.

"No. Not that I am aware of." Adam's answer made Azalea more frustrated and furious at him. She instinctively picked up the glass and splashed the contents right at him.

"Listen. I. Am. Not. Interested. In. Marrying you." Azalea declared, emphasizing each word that came out of her mouth. With that, she turned around to leave, when a hand grabbed her wrist and pulled her back.

"It's not good manners to throw something at someone and leave like that," Adam whispered in her ear, wrapping his arms around her waist.

Azalea was furious and glared up just to get lost in the beauty of the man hovering over her. Even with heels, she was barely reaching his face. His raven black-haired was drenched with the whiskey she poured on him. The glistening sunlight, as the droplets of whiskey dripped down his hair strands. His ebony eyes sucking her soul. How can someone be so devilishly handsome?

"You are drooling." Adam chuckled, muttering in her ear.

Azalea shook up from her fangirling mood and glared at him, trying to push him away. Adam didn't even budge at her push and held her closer to his body, their lower body intertwined.

"Let go." Azalea threatened, gritting her teeth.

"Apologize first." Adam forced out a smile, keeping a firm grasp on her waist.

Azalea snorted, rolling her eyes," For what? If anything you should be apologizing for sending that marriage proposal without my permission."

"What about you kissing me without my permission and this rude behavior at my own office? I can call the police on you." Adam calmly responded further agitating Azalea.

"Go ahead. I would rather go to jail than marry you over that kiss. Even if I have to spend my whole youth in prison I will not marry you." Azalea huffed, turning her head to the side.

"Too bad then. I am the victim here. I was saving my first kiss for my future wife. Since you took it, it's only right for you to marry me." Adam explained, staring into her hazel eyes. Her eyes were ready to burn his soul in hell.

"Crazy bastard…" Azalea stomped at his feet, pressing her heels on his shoes to make him let go.

"Continue that, and I will drag you to the court and marry you right now," Adam warned, his face plastered with a smirk as if her stomping made no difference to him.

"Let go of me. You are crazy." Azalea was genuinely scared of the man before her.

"Your parents agreed because of that. They said their daughter is rude, immature, and a spoiled brat." Adam remarked, "So now apologize for splashing whiskey all over me. If you want me to let go of you." he continued.

"Go to hell." Azalea had enough of his nonsense, and with full force tried to swing his arms and slap him hard. However, Adam already guessed her move, grabbed her wrist, dragged her to the sofa, and made her sit down.

"Then stay seated here until you learn how to apologize for your action," Adam informed, taking off his dark blue tie and tying both of her hands to the table beside the sofa.

"I said let go of me. Are you crazy? This is illegal!" Lea yelled, struggling to free herself.

"Just say sorry and you can leave."

"Over my dead body!" Not wanting to accept defeat, Azalea sat there, pouting her cheeks and sending daggers towards him.

Adam ignored her glares and went towards the white door beside his table. After a few minutes, he came dressed in a white shirt, with a towel around his neck. He checked on Azalea, who was still tied to her place.

"Ready to apologize?" Adam inquired, going up to her.

Azalea remained quiet, ignoring his presence and looking in another direction. Adam sighed, she was so stubborn.

He leaned closer, her hand reaching to either side of her. It was only then Azalea looked just to find his face inches away from her. His warm breath tingled over her face, as his face got closer and closer to her. Unconsciously, every time Azalea glances into those starry eyes of his, her eyes draw down to those lips.

Just as she was expecting him to kiss and close her eyes, she felt nothing. Just the warm breath tingling all over the skin, she could feel his presence yet nothing. After a few seconds passed, she grew impatient and opened to find him calmly staring at her.

She frowned at him, averting her gaze as the embarrassment of the previous moment hit her. She was expecting him to kiss her? Has she gone crazy? No, this must be Stockholm syndrome! There is no other way this could be explained. This crazy guy has tied her up and now her brain is tricking her to think that she is attracted to him. Yes, that's it.

Azalea calmed herself down before staring back at his eyes, "I will if you untie me first. Alas! You don't want your wife-to-be to have bruises around her wrist, do you? What will people think?" Azalea calmly stated, her eyes almost teary. Her cheeks and nose reddened with a pitiful look on her face.

Adam smirked, leaning his head closer to hers, and with soft calm whispered," You are a very bad actress, Azalea Woods."

Hearing his words, Azalea looked up at his neck, dropping the act, and out of nowhere, Adam felt a sharp pain in his neck that he instantly stepped away.

Adam touched his neck where she bit, he could feel bite marks if not blood. "Are you a dog? Going on biting people?"

"Poison cuts poison and crazy cuts crazy."
