"Next up, the second auction item..."
Not every item in the finale auction is extravagantly expensive. Of the final 100 items, only two or three are exorbitantly priced. Around twenty are highly valuable, while most of the others are considered "extremely rare," but not overly expensive.
Wang Yi glanced at the second item up for auction and, uninterested, turned to Thor beside him.
"Thor, I gave you the domain master-level bloodline potion earlier."
"What?!" Thor was astonished. Such a priceless gift landing on his lap was unimaginable. He had just witnessed the entire auction process, understanding how valuable the domain master-level bloodline potion truly was. With this potion, even if Thor didn't put in extreme effort, he could naturally achieve the coveted domain master level — a level that many dream of.
This was no small feat! Achieving the domain master level meant being able to rule over a country in elementary civilizations. In the Black dragon mountain empire Star Field, one would become a true authority, far more powerful than any ruler on Earth.
Valued at 550 Universe coin units, the equivalent of the wealth held by 55 peak world masters!
And yet, Wang Yi had gifted it to him?
"Wang Yi, this bloodline potion is too valuable. I can't accept it," Thor said, his breath unsteady. Though tempted, Thor couldn't bring himself to accept such an enormous gift.
Many people would have been unable to resist such a temptation, but Thor firmly declined without hesitation. The gift was far too precious, and Wang Yi had paid for it. Accepting such a gift without reason made Thor feel ashamed.
"Don't be so quick to refuse," Wang Yi said with a smile.
"You heard the auctioneer. This bloodline potion is best suited for those practicing the Law of Thunder and Lightning. Its benefits for me are limited, but for you, it's a perfect fit." Wang Yi continued, "We both came from Earth, and it's only right to support each other. Helping each other grow will only benefit the people of Earth as a whole. So, take it. If you feel indebted, you can repay me with something of equal value in the future."
Hong, standing nearby, chimed in, "Thor, you should accept it. Wang Yi's right. If you feel uncomfortable, just return the favor someday. What matters is the here and now."
Hong glanced at Wang Yi with admiration and gratitude. He hadn't expected Wang Yi to go to such lengths for them. For a moment, he even contemplated paying his respects to Wang Yi as a show of loyalty.
Ultimately, Thor accepted the precious domain master-level bloodline potion, his gratitude toward Wang Yi deepening. He resolved to repay Wang Yi's generosity in the future, knowing the significant impact the potion would have on his development.
Wang Yi, however, remained calm. He knew from the original plotline that Hong would eventually become a true god, while Thor would ascend to become a lord of the universe. In comparison, a domain master-level gift was minor.
Moreover, Wang Yi wasn't expecting anything in return. He helped them because they were from Earth, his own people. He believed in supporting those closest to him.
As for why he didn't gift the potion to Shen Yan or Gao Yurong? They weren't warriors heading to the battlefield or fighting for Earth's survival. Wang Yi wasn't unreasonable. As he grew stronger, those around him would naturally benefit too. No one would be left behind.
Wang Yi held the hands of Gao Yurong and Shen Yan. Unlike other world masters, who sat alone on their enormous thrones, Wang Yi, Hong, and Thor sat together. With enough space, there was no need for separation, even if others were watching.
...
"The next auction item is exceptionally rare. You'd be hard-pressed to find it anywhere in the 1008 universes..." the turtle-shell elder smiled. "What we have here is the pupil of the Void Zerg 'Kaditz'!"
The millions of world masters in the audience appeared perplexed, while only a few immortals seemed to grasp the significance. Their eyes gleamed with interest.
"There are limitations on the information I can share about the Void Zerg, but I can tell you that it is an incredibly rare special lifeform in the universe, deeply connected to the Law of Space. Even in the entire universe, encountering a Void Zerg is a rarity, perhaps once in countless millennia. Most immortals have likely never even seen one."
"What we are auctioning today is the pupil of a domain master-level Void Zerg!"
"The bidding starts at zero," the elder declared confidently.
Wang Yi's eyes lit up at the mention of the Law of Space and the rarity of the creature. His excitement mounted.
He had been searching for something like this. Clenching his fists, he thought, It has to be! This must be a special lifeform related to the Law of Space!
His Flame Star Beast clone had already reached the domain master level, meaning its pronucleus could nurture a domain master-level lifeform. However, the new life couldn't be a lower level than his clone, and the Void Zerg had to meet certain criteria. Moreover, Wang Yi worried about the Zerg's genetic level. If it were too high, he wouldn't be able to nurture it yet.
Still, he resolved to take the risk. The earlier he could breed this special life, the greater its benefit to him. Even if he couldn't nurture it now, he was confident he could do so after advancing further in the Nine Tribulations Secret Code.
While Wang Yi was deep in thought, the auction price had already reached 5000 Universe coin units.
"6000 Universe coin units!" Wang Yi declared, unwavering.
The room buzzed with activity as various bidders dropped out, unable to compete. The price soared—6100, 6200, 6300... Time passed, and eventually, the price settled at 18,690 Universe coin units.
"18,690 Universe coin units. Final call... 3, 2, 1! Congratulations to guest number QW2130! You have won the 'Void Pupil'!"
