Chapter 3: It's Finally Here

Pov: Hestia

'Sometimes I worry, Though I expect that most other do, sometimes it seems like I'm too worried. Being born the oldest, I was often alone for a long time if uncle Charon weren't there to keep me company. Then after about 50 years came Demeter who was a bundle of energy always wanting to study and grow plants and make a wonderful garden. It wasn't until Hades came where I learned how a family was supposed to be. Though being 200 at the time and Demeter 150 taking care of Hades was always...complicated. His eyes glowed with fascination at the sight of magic but became cold and calculated in an instant as if he had a mind far older than his body.'

'However, it never stopped there. As soon as he could walk it almost always seemed as if he was training something. First it was his body training as much as he physically could. I swear to Styx its like he was a brute like the Hecatoncheires always wanting to grow and test his might. After that it was combat with his hand's often sparing with Charon or striking the air. Then it became weapons like the sword and spear, though he'd always favorited the bi-dent"

After being "satisfied" with his physical prowess he delved into the realm of knowledge. Sometimes he would spend weeks and even month's searching for all the knowledge he could. Me and Demeter would often have to even drag him out for food. It became worrying, It was almost like he knew something big was coming and as if time was running out. Thankfully, It came to a stop as soon as our new sister was born, Hera.

When Charon brought Hera down and she saw Hades, She stuck to him like a thorn. Though it took quite some time, Hades had eventually grown love and appreciate Hera's presence. He would share with her all the knowledge he had gathered often looking like a father guiding his child. Though it never stopped there, After Hera came Adamas who clung to his every word as if it was gospel. Not so long after Adamas came Poseidon who cherished Hades with a warm and open smile even if he was cold and bitter to everyone else. Eventually Adamas even broke Poseidon's cold heart and they became close almost as if they were born twins.

However, the worry came back after Zeus was born. Though open with Hera, Poseidon and Adamas, Hades was often indifferent about Zeus, Almost as if he didn't know what to do with him. Hades still cared for Zeus just like the other's but often got lost in thought while looking towards him. One day however, We got a message from Father.

"Oh Princess and Princes! I Have a message from you father and mother." Charon would call as he exited his boat and walked onto Elysium.

"Uncle Charon! It's great to see you again! Please come inside and take a seat, I'll gather everyone for you" Hestia said with a warm smile

"Oh why thank you princess, it would be of great help as not even I know most of the places in Elysium anymore" Charon said with a small chuckle.

And it was true, Charon couldn't even recognize Elysium anymore as everyone had their own area. Hestia and Demeter stayed in the original home with the abundant garden that seemed to go on endlessly, Hera had herself built a smaller residence not far away but it was enough to call it a family home. Poseidon had been drawn more towards water and built himself a more oceanic residence that floated on a lake filled with different types of water creatures. Adamas had built closer towards Poseidon and made something more akin to a siege camp than a home and Zeus had himself built a palace in which he often sat on a throne.

Hades however, no longer resided in Elysium and chose to move to Tartarus and move close to the Emerald Castle building himself A medium sized onyx residence with a massive library and laboratory underneath.

As Hestia gathered everyone, She soon blipped away into flames and arrived in Hades study. It was a large office covered with books and scrolls all containing information Hades either received or founded himself. Of course, the fire place was always kept warm incase Hestia needed or wanted to visit

"Little Brother! Charon has called us siblings to meet. Father and Mother have a message for us" Hestia called out as Hades would turn around and greet her.

"Ah! Hestia what a surprise. Charon came by on his way towards the fields and informed me, I just got to caught up in my research that I had forgotten how much time had passed" Hades would say with a gentle smile as his sister gave him a hug, though she was more so hugging his waist at his height.

Hades stood at a towering 6'4 with snow white hair that brought out his royal purple eyes that had a cool gaze. His body shaped by century's of practice was lean with compressed muscle akin to a calisthenics expert. He would be wearing a traditional toga that had been colored a darkened grey with golden accents.

"Does that means its finally finished!?" Hestia asked excitedly, Hades had been working on this research for almost 200 years at this point so it was a big moment.

"Indeed it is, I'll show you after we meet with Charon" Hades said with a smile. Holding Hestia's hand, the duo was whisper away in an eerily green mist as they appeared Infront of their family and Charon. As they said their hello's, eventually everyone was eventually seated and Charon began to speak.

"Now that everyone is hear, the message from King Kronos and Queen Rhea.

Ahem, Hello children, If you are hearing this message then the time has come. I, Kronos, Have grown bored of ruling and so, I have come to inform you all that in 50 million years time a tournament shall take place. This tournament shall consist of a bracket of of 6 participants from you gods and 6 participants from the titan. The winner of the tournament shall take the thrown and become king of the cosmos. Prepare and gather strength as I shall meet whomever in the finals."

Everyone in the room had different reactions. Hestia, Hera and Demeter all froze at the thought of battling the titans. Zeus was ecstatic and left immediately to train in a flash of thunder. Poseidon and Adamas both shared a glance and left in a whirlpool of waster and a vapor of red mist. Hades on the other hand, just sat in awe.

In awe of what you may ask? well it definitely wasn't the tournament, oh no. Infront of hades was a small purple screen that read.

"It's finally here" Hades whispered
