Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

"SKY!" I closed my eyes for a bit, not knowing how much time had passed, but Lia was standing above me, looking down at me. I lifted my body... the fatigue was almost gone.

"We did it... we won..." I said. Once I sat up, I saw Jeff and Shiro start to approach me from the distance. In addition to them, the girl named Lisa held Aegis and ran over by my side.

"I have an announcement to make... about Aegis." I began, but Lia interrupted me.

"I think we should take care of her... raise her to be the person Orion couldn't be." She suggested. I smiled, knowing that's exactly what Orion wanted to become of his daughter.

"I couldn't have said it better myself..." I paused, smiling at the ground.

"Where's everybody else? Tavian? Ullr?" Jeff ran up to everybody, asking about the fate of our friends. Everybody stood silent, but I stood up, trying to be strong.

"They didn't make it. Their sacrifices are the only reason we did as well... along with all of your sacrifices. You're the only reason we made it to this Isle alive. Thank you, for everything you fought for... I want accessible places on this Isle if there's even anything left." I said.

I don't even know where to go next. We had water to drink from the ocean... but where were the trees? The sand? The food? Everything here was... dead...

"What do we do?" Lily asked me. I still didn't know what we should do though...

[SYSTEM ALERT: DANGER! DANGER! DANGER!]

I turned my back to react to the danger, but before I could move another muscle, I saw three, whip-like blades swing toward my face. Shit! I couldn't dodge that!

I winced, ready to receive the finishing blow on my head, but it was blocked...?

With white hair shimmering against the brightness of the sun and the ugly noise from the strand sword filling my ears, I was completely stunned by the person standing in front of me.

Deity?!

This was the first time I saw her in person... she was just a little shorter than I was, and her hair was just as long as Dani's. She walked around with no shoes and a large, white coat hanging around her shoulders. As the attack was blocked, she turned back to look at me.

When her red eyes looked at me, I could tell it was her. I was too stunned to speak... she was a really beautiful girl.

Speaking of beautiful girls... was Dani alright?

"DAMMIT! Move Deity! I'm ending this!" Zeal shouted. That son of a bitch! He was already here?!

"Too late. His System is awaiting transfer. You're no longer relevant here, Zeal." Deity stated.

"Fine! I'll become the Deity myself after I kill the both of you." Zeal said, taking up a position ready for combat.

Deity turned back to look at me and smiled. "This will only be a second." She said, taking off her coat, and holding her arms at a diagonal angle near her hips. Out of both of her hands, strand swords were created, but these ones were purple. What the hell is going on?

Zeal and Deity came to a standstill, but before I knew it, Deity's grip tightened on her strand swords, and a large surge of wind blowing emitted from her position. The glass cracked underneath her and the blades of the strand swords turned into pure, golden color.

Deity broke the sound barrier with a charge at Zeal, grabbing him by his neck, cutting off his left arm, and throwing him up into the air. My eyes could barely follow what was going on right now!

While Zeal was thrown up in the sky... Deity closed her left hand and spires of ice shot so far out of the glassed isle that they stuck into Zeal about fifty feet in the air. With blood spraying down towards everybody, I heard a shriek from Zeal's mouth as he began to fall.

Before he hit the ground, Deity flipped her body, planted her heel into Zeal's chest, and kicked him straight into me. I jumped out of the way, but a weird barrier made of those strands was already placed around everybody around me, including me.

Zeal spat up blood, and couldn't regenerate his left arm. This lady... I've never seen her fight... but she was terrifying. It almost made me tremble.

Zeal fell to the ground out of exhaustion and dropped his unique weapon. "Fine! I give! Just let me go back to my family." Zeal told Deity, but her frown hinted at the fact that maybe she wasn't going to do that...

"I told you... before I even reincarnated him... that you were to leave Sky alone. And yet, you tried to kill him. You demanded all of the White Stones to hunt him, and he had to go and ruin himself just to stay alive past your decree. So Zeal... I won't let you live. I sentence you to death. As the Deity of Wrath, you will perish in the worst way possible for your sins." Deity stated.

Deity... of Wrath...?

Deity made two fists and put them together, touching her knuckles. She pulled her fists apart and Zeal's limbs were slowly torn from his body. Until blood gushed out and decorated the floor in large puddles where his wounds originated from.

Zeal's screams were drowned out after Deity stuffed strands down his throat and pulled his body apart even more. His teeth flew everywhere, along with his eyeballs. His chest burst open and before I knew it, all that was left of Zeal was a red mist.

[SYSTEM EMERGENCY! A WHITE STONE HAS BEEN KILLED IN ACTION!]

Holy shit... what the hell was that?! Deity could do that...?!

"Sorry that took me so long... even I want to have fun sometimes... you know? Anyways, where are my manners? Sky, and his friends... I wanted to congratulate everybody on surviving the war. You all have proved yourself to be exceptional people." Deity bowed toward all of my friends.

"You're... Deity..." Lia mumbled. Ellie and Mandi were stuck watching her as well.

"Oh my... am I famous? Sky, did you gloat about me?" Deity asked, rubbing the back of her head as her cheeks turned rosy.

"I told everybody about you... so... I'm going to become a Deity?" I asked Deity. Everybody turned to look at me.

"Well, yeah, that would be the next step. But... I'm sure there are things you wanted to know about that Isle and the things that have happened to you, right? I can answer your questions now that you've proven the mental capacity to handle the truth." Deity stated.
