Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

Mahina's Grace

"What the hell is your problem? You think I'll let that slide?" Dante shouted out.

From behind Fico, two of Amera's bladed rings she called 'Chakrams' were thrown.

Fico didn't even turn her head toward them, but her horns extended and caught them before they could do any damage to her.

"Alright, I'm not going to do this one at a time, Ellie, can we work together like we used to?" Tavian asked. The two nodded and instantly bolted toward Fico at the same time.

Dante ran at her from the north, Moon ran at her from the south, Tavian ran at her from the west, and Ellie ran at her from the east. Amera recalled her weaponry, and I followed right behind Moon.

Fico shook her shoulders forward, and closed one eye, jumping over Dante's initial strike.

Tavian and Ellie were synchronized, attacking at points the other didn't reach, and at uneven speeds.

The floor rattled as Tavian landed a strong hit on Fico's claws, and Ellie collided with the others.

She was stupid enough to grab onto Fico's wrist, and a claw shot up the length of her forearm as she did so.

It narrowly missed her head, and Ellie smiled as Moon charged her rapier back, aiming for Fico's heart.

Her horns grew again and stopped Dante's hits from behind, and my sword got stuck in Fico's horns.

We were all locked in a stalemate, Fico looking deep into my eyes. She hasn't said a word since she knocked me up into the air, and after it didn't work, she seemed to get angrier.

Moon's rapier bounced off of Fico's chest, and the Chakrams bounced off of the metallic skin on her back.

Holy shit... we all came at her at once, and she held us back without any trouble...

"Not even Sky sucked this bad," Fico smiled. Her claws grew, and she broke swords, launched weaponry back, and slashed in a giant circle around her.

I protected Moon by blocking a strike, Tavian and Ellie survived the slash, and Dante jumped up to dodge it completely.

Fico grabbed onto his head as he jumped in the air, and chucked him at the ground. He bounced coughing up blood, and Fico raised her leg perpendicular to his body, which was parallel to the ground.

She was going to slam her heel into his stomach and probably split him in half!

I ran at her as fast as possible, using my sword to deflect her foot and push Dante away before he was instantly killed.

I turned back toward Fico and the enlarged claw on the edge of her foot swung straight over my head, thinly cutting a small line on my nose.

My eyes were wide, as I almost had just lost them, and I was stunned on the ground, catching my breath from the severity of the attack I barely dodged.

She slammed her foot into the ground, and I heard a bone crack as strands reformed the proper positioning of the bone.

Moon shoved her rapier through Fico's back while she was distracted, and even the force of being impaled didn't break her wide-open eyes. She kept looking at me specifically, it was driving me insane.

The Chakrams were sliding in and out of her body as Amera kept throwing them toward Fico. When she caught one, she threw it a good distance away, making it so Amera couldn't recall it at all.

"Eirikr would have a field day with you," Fico muttered, snapping Moon's rapier with her malformed spine as it shifted in her body. Even Moon showed visible signs of disgust, backing up in confusion from the broken Rapier.

"LET'S START HAVING SOME FUN!" She yelled out. A complete change in her personality later, and her eyes were fixated on Ellie and Moon.

She recalled the Chakram, just as Amera did, and threw it straight for her.

Amera blocked it with the other one, but it was easily cut in half by the force. Meanwhile, while it was sliding against Amera's other Chakram, she appeared in front of me with the claw on her heel again and moved it upward toward my shoulder.

It cut through my shirt, somewhat through my skin, and a shockwave was emitted from the ground up. It launched me six feet upward and I landed awkwardly on my back, flipping over slowly, and lifting my head up after falling into a position where I was on my knees.

I was disoriented, and Fico took note of this.

She picked me up by my collar and threw me at Tavian.

He dropped his sword, caught me with both of his arms, and we were both impaled by a purple saber right before I even hit his hands.

It barely touched my side, but it still put a hole through me. Tavian, on the other hand, had his shoulder pushed through before the saber evaporated within our bodies. Purple strands started to course through our bodies... Is this even possible?

Fico's style of fighting was very animalistic, fast, and brutal. She was able to break her own body to keep the upper hand and fight six opponents at once at a calm pace without feeling overwhelmed. Our previous experience wasn't adding up to her capabilities. This is nothing like fighting as soldiers under Orion's rule.

This... is much worse.

She can't even use her Incarnation, and it's this detrimental to all of us. Almost to the point of impossibility.

As Purple Strands coursed down my forearms and to my hands, a saber, made of the same material she threw at us, came up and was wildly flowing in the wind as strands maintained that cylindrical shape. I shouldn't have these... I can't wield these, I'm not supposed to.

"Finally, now it's a somewhat fair competition. You have the same things that are supposed to make me so powerful. You two alone should be able to take me out, right? Or, will you keep depending on him?" Fico asked as Dante jumped up behind her.

She plunged her claws straight into his blade, cracking it, and causing a loud noise to hiss out of it. It was a noise I was unfamiliar with but still too loud to deal with.

That loud noise seemed to be something explosive going off, as the sword blew up above her and launched shrapnel everywhere.

Fico took the brunt of the hit, bleeding profusely from all of the metal bits, and Amera took a heavy chunk to the center of her leg, which caused her to fall.
