Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

Eo's Final Battle (Gore Warning)

"I call upon the System that limits us, to beseech the rules and to bend them beyond belief. Under the administration of The Deity, I call for Environmental Oath to be reawakened." Eo said. The air around her started to swirl her body and lift her up as if she was flying. The weather started to shift from nothing to something sinister, with high winds, crackling lightning, and rumbling thunder.

Eo, floating in the middle of a tornado, fixated her eyes back on Illya, who was standing next to us.

"Awaken System Entity: Environmental Oath," Eo muttered.

After Eo's speech, I was left without a thought in my mind... but what ensued in that second I tried to process everything... I was left with the hope she was talking about.

A slash of wind I could make out with my eye cut Illya in half, exposing her spine as it exploded, and all of her internal organs fell to the floor as the splatter of blood that remained where Illya used to stand was completely spread out around the field.

I was covered in intestines and enough blood to drown a mouse, and a shockwave of wind cleared my vision as Illya bounced and screamed out in pain. The squishy blood spurted upward as I fell back on my hands to watch the fight.

Eo sent another shockwave out toward Illya and she was lifted off the ground, slamming into it after a few seconds. Strands were healing her body, but Eo was tearing her body up. The skin was falling off like it was a peeling banana, and the blood and chunks of flesh started splattering the floor.

Eo was... insane! The damage she was dealing with right now was... impossible...

Eo shot out of her tornado and impaled Illya with a simple punch. Following that punch, Illya's ribcage exploded and even pierced my shoulder. Eo grabbed Illya's throat and threw her away, but knowing Illya, she reclaimed her footing and charged at Eo once more.

Eo snapped her leg at the knee and blew it up with a burst of wind again. Illya, adapting to the pain, hopped on one leg until it regenerated and threw her saber at Eo.

Before it could touch Eo, it was torn apart by the tornado...

Then, the strands multiplied and exploded, tearing Eo apart, limb for limb, and sending her blood and flesh flying through the wind and covering everybody on the ground with it.

"You don't fuck with The Deity. You had your fun, but that's all it will ever be." Illya said.

She wiped the blood off of her mouth and tried to hide it. That's when I got it.

Eo told me herself... Illya has a limit...

I dropped my saber on the ground and ran over to Illya, ignoring the injuries on my body that pulsed with a dull ache.

I jumped on her shoulder and covered her eyes while pulling her hair with my teeth. Then, I shot ice out of my body and pierced every joint I could with her. I let her hair out of my mouth and looked at Eo in the air as she fell from the tornado like a goddess blessing the Earth.

"EO! ONE MORE TIME! TRUST ME!" I shouted out to her.

Eo's eyes looked at me and one last time, her body came back with strands as quick as possible. Illya threw me off of her body and shoved a saber into my stomach... but she was too late.

The ice underneath her disappeared and she slipped up, falling to the ground.

I summoned a spear of ice that shot through her head, and then used the last of my stamina to create more in the air that pushed her deeper into the ground and got her stuck.

I fell to the floor with fog coming out of my mouth from the difference in temperature. Then... Eo made her strike again.

Spinning at a rate that was almost blinding, Eo shot down from her tornado floating in the sky and pushed herself into the middle of Illya's back while spinning like a drill.

Illya's spine, ribs, organs, flesh, and blood exploded like a bomb again and the damage done to her should've been fatal.

Eo fell backward and the tornado started to dissipate.

With Golden Strands healing her body, Illya stood back up and was unable to hide the amount of blood she spat up.

"Don't you see... how pointless that was? Look at you. Dead from Strand Exposure, your lackeys are out of stamina... and I'm still standing and regenerating. Don't you feel stupid for wasting your life, Secretary?" Illya asked Eo.

"System..." She muttered.

Eo still had strength left?! What could she be doing with it... could she even attack in that state?

"System..." She couldn't finish her command. I wanted to run over to Eo and give her whatever she needed to finish it... but I couldn't move. My muscles were locking up, and I was too cold to move. I was shivering too much.

"Just can it. You didn't do any lasting damage to me. Your attacks were potent, but nothing can injure me. I'm The Deity, I have that title for a reason." Illya said. She turned her head to me and smiled.

Shit... I still can't move...

"Now, Belle... let's finish this," Illya said. She rose her saber, and Eo screamed.

"SYSTEM... INCINERATE!" She yelled out.

"YOU CAN'T USE THAT YOU DUMBASS! THAT'S FOR-" Illya was cut off by another explosion of thick flesh and viscous blood.

Her ribcage almost just fell out of her chest and she clutched it tightly while staring at it on the ground.

"I made you... to combat him... and you used the power I gave you against me! If you weren't dead from that attack, I would've made you suffer... you stupid bitch..." Illya muttered. She was still healing her chest... but I could visibly see the lack of ribcage inside of it.

Eo permanently shut off her ability to heal her ribcage... that's... that's our chance. That's an opening... But, I'm too weak to use anything!

"You... how much do you plan to take from us?" Boo asked Illya.

Her hair was over her eyes and tears were falling down her cheeks. It wasn't until I saw Boo, the strongest of us all, crying, that I knew Eo had perished with that final attack. Even though Illya said it herself... I didn't want to believe it.
