The manner in which he was killed was a specific technique only used by the Formlessly Shadow assassins.These assassins were well known on the Southern continent .Their assassination technique well documented and their willingness to kill anyone and anything for the right price was well established .They had even assassinated a previous emperor of the Yulong Empire ,the mightiest empire in human history.

This assassination led to a war that lasted thousands of years .In the end ,the conflict was settled when the assassin who carried out the assassination was killed by the empire .Even with this ,the Formless Shadow assassins were still on the wanted list of the empire and over the years ,the empire had initiated multiple small wars against the assassins .
