Chapter 2: The Haunting of Harrowdale (Edited)

John H. POV

After some more back and forth, we decided on teaming up to capture or get rid of the entity causing the issues. They then set out to investigate the room where we were to see if there were any clues for the case.

They found a few details about the case, and then Dean decided to go for food once he was a bit freshened up. While doing that, he got arrested. He was somehow able to call Sam, allowing him to escape from the inn, and we booked a room in another one until we could figure out what was happening.

We then found some clues leading up to the surname Welch and found a person named Joseph Welch, who could help regarding the case.

I and Sam decided to visit and check him out regarding this, and we found that Daddy Winchester had visited this place around 4-5 days ago. We also learned about his wife, Constance Welch, who had died earlier and was buried in their old house, but Sam, seeing through the simple story, immediately confronted Joseph about it. Who the hell directly confronts a man about his crime?!?). He figured that Joseph had cheated on his wife, and upon discovering that his wife, in a fit of rage, had killed their kids as well as herself and thus became a woman in white due to that, this, as expected, had enraged Joseph. Who didn't take too kindly to being confronted for something he did a long time ago? I was of the opinion to send him forcefully down the same road to meet his wife, but meh, no point in doing so.

After locating the place where Constance was buried, Sam decided to go and deal with the case, but as soon as we were about to sit in the car, we received a call from Dean asking us to pick him up. Having somehow escaped from custody as well as having taken the diary belonging to their father, which had fallen into the hands of police officers, this caused Sam to directly go over to pick him up as their dad wouldn't ever leave their diary.

While they were talking about it, we were already on the way to the older Welch house, and just when we were planning to go to Dean's location, we saw the target of the mission, the woman in white, now identifiable as Constance Welch. Sam, knowing this, didn't stop the car from running over (through? into?) her.

We thought we were able to directly go through them, but they dispersed around like a mist.

Sitting in the backseat, it was a bit weird seeing this happen in real life. But a few moments after that, I heard a ghostly whisper from beside me saying, "Take me home~~".

To be honest, I was a bit more weirded out by this than watching it in the show, but quickly, as if on instinct, I conjured up an iron net and threw it over her, causing her to disperse along with the net once its usage was done.

I then looked at Sam, who was seemingly confused about whether he wanted to be more shocked by the conjuration I made or the woman in white coming inside the car. To help him out, I just smirked at him and said, "Superior Teach for the Win! "Now, do you want to keep looking at me, or would you like to end this case and go to your girlfriend that I heard you talking to?"

Hearing this, Sam got out of his daze and quickly brought the car to the Welch House, while also updating Dean about our location and keeping an eye out on the road for another attack.

Upon reaching the place, Sam quickly went out to search for the place where Constance was buried, around the house, which he found and quickly burned the body in, but it didn't do anything in particular.

Meanwhile, I was trying to lure Constance near the house by roaming around. I was able to trick her into coming there, but she came from in front of me rather than behind me. Looking at this, I conjured a net falling onto her from behind her.

You might think that the net didn't exactly work on catching her the last time. What makes it such that it will work this time? Isn't repeating something again and again while expecting different results the definition of insanity? Well, it is, and I might be a bit insane now, I agree, but this time the net also had various miniature runes engraved on it for the express purpose of capturing spirits and disabling their powers. The angle of conjuration was such that after being caught, she was directly flipped inside the house, and as soon as she was inside, the children appeared and brought her to Hell.

Seeing this Dean, who had just arrived, as well as Sam, who was dazed after burning the body was ineffective, released a sigh of relief.
