Chapter 4

Not long after that, my mother called for dinner.

"Yes, ma'am I'll be down immediately!" I shouted from inside the room.

I turned off the ac then left the room and down the stairs. Mom and dad are already at the table preparing dinner, I pulled the chair limply, not excited, packing clothes into the suitcase is the thing that makes me lazy.

This "here" gives a plate that already contains rice.

"why? Why are you tired?" asked dad had started eating first.

"Tired" I whispered, sighing.

"Yes, I want to go on vacation tomorrow, when I just put my clothes in, I'm tired," said the father while spooning his food.

What dad said is true but I can't lie that tonight I'm very tired. Last year's vacation mom prepared everything, ever since I entered middle school everything turned into myself everything I did, I hate growing up.

"Okay," I whispered starting dinner.

After finishing dinner I rushed up to my room to sleep, not forgetting to say goodbye. Mom and dad seem to have understood me. After entering the room I turned on the air conditioner with a temperature that was not too cold, closed the door and turned off the room lights, and started sleeping.

I woke up in the morning, I think I'm used to sleeping at school. I opened my eyes and glanced at the clock, the clock showed 7.30 in the morning. Allow school hours. But a little late.

My body is a little stiff, slowly sitting up from sleep. Looking in the mirror my hair is very messy.

Mom called me several times since I showered, and got dressed. I sighed while drying my hair in front of the fan. Mother called again.

"Yes, mother" I called pressing the number three button on the fan, to make it faster.

After half my hair was dry, I immediately rushed downstairs with my suitcase, with my clothes also ready to go.

Knock! I lowered my suitcase from the last step, uh mom was putting candy in a jar while dad was heating the car outside.

"Mom" I whined, loosening my shoulders resignedly, apparently, they weren't ready yet.

"Yes?" mother glanced at her short swaying hair. Instantly mother laughed, closing the jar.

I pulled my suitcase to the front door of the house, letting it stand. I walked to the dining table, pulled up a chair, and sat down. On the table, there is already a cooler box. I tried to push the object with my finger, and it turned out to be heavy, I immediately stood up and opened the cooler box, there was a lot of ice cream in it with various flavors and categories such as fruit and milk flavors.

"Did you buy all of this?" I asked whose eyes were still hypnotized by the ice cream.

"Yes, please, get us on the road. Today the heat is also rising" mother walked to me, "here" gave me a portable fan.

My gaze shifted, "aaa!. It's really funny" I exclaimed taking the fan.

Mom smiled at me.

crack. The father of the most handsome man in my family came into the house, "let's go friends," he said with his hands on his hips.

I laughed for a moment, my father is so funny, "Come on," I shouted, raising my hand excitedly while holding a portable fan.

I walked to the front door with my suitcase. Father took the cooler box earlier and mother brought another suitcase, also brought the jar containing the candy earlier. Looks like it's going to be a long journey. I arrived in front of the car door, which opened because the car was behind me. It's true what mother said, the temperature has gone up, it's very hot. After stuffing the suitcase into the trunk I ran into the car while propping my eyes away from the sunlight.

Mom and dad opened the trunk to put the suitcase in and dad put the cooler box in the middle seat, so we could easily take it.

"Okay, there's nothing left, right?" said the father, making sure.

Bugs! Mom and dad got into the car. Started the car engine then my father stepped on the gas. The car slowly advanced. We will stay at the hotel first and then the next day the summer vacation starts.

"Oh yes, ma'am how many days we stay?" I asked turning on the fan.

"Oh, where's the ticket?" Mom asked dad, diverting my question first.

"It's in the wallet. We will stay for about three days," said the father.

His words answered both my and my mother's questions.

We started enjoying the trip.
