Third Wind

{Time: 11:50 AM}

{Location: West Equinox: Mom's House}

Mom leaned against the counter and whistled then a woman appeared from a pillar of light beside Mom. She looked at her servant and crossed her arms. "Lolly. I need you to go find Beatrix. Bring her and Saliel back to Equinox."

Lolly looked at Mom and bowed. "Do you want me to join Master Kaden in his travels as well?"

"No need. He has Rhea, Mila, and Akari. Any more power would be too excessive since he needs to master his current Omen, Miracle, and Equinox Drive. Also...While you're at it, eliminate these three." Mom said and showed pictures of Ashton, Adrian, and Jacob.

Lolly tilted her head as she looked at the pictures. She smiled and saluted Mom. "I'll be on it!~"

Lexi watched Lolly warp away. "Who the freak was that?"

"Lolly Gula, one of my servants and a Maiden of Gluttony. She's a sweet girl...highly sadistic and manipulative." Mom answered then closed her eyes. "I'm gonna send an alert to everyone in West Equinox. The Defense Force is increasing to 60%. I feel like it's time I step out on the battlefield now."

Lexi, Elizabeth, and Annette looked at Mom then looked at each other. They knew things were getting serious now, but wanted to do all they could to help.

{Time: 12:15 PM}

{Location: Ruby Stadium}

"Welcome one and all to Day Two of the Platinum Fist Tournament! We have our winner's backets going on for Division A! Our matches will go as accordingly: Equinox vs. Team Fraskia, Crimson Crows vs. Team Destiny, Eternals vs. Dawn Knights, and Team Cerulean vs. Toxic Titans! A lot of teams were eliminated last round, but this time the stakes are higher!" Trinity said and cheered.

{Fraskia...as in Saint Fraskia Academy in Japan. These group of women are no joke.}

"What do you mean? What's so special about them?" I asked.

"Well if we are talking about the same Saint Fraskia, their leader named Hisumi...she's kinda—No she's extremely strong despite mainly using Lightning. Her allies, Liao Ru and Misao are two of the strongest if not the strongest in their academy." Rhea answered.

"Fuck...How did we get stuck with this one?" Georgia asked and sighed.

Nova stood up and smacked her fist against her palm. "If they are as strong as Rhea says, I'm even more pumped! Are they stronger than Kaden?"

"Probably." Rhea said and looked through the data of their last battle in Division C. She scrolled through the tablet and grunted softly. "Hisumi is so fast that the camera couldn't even catch it and that goes for Li—WHOA! They fucking TRANSFORMED?!"

"Like an actual transformation and not just a normal awakening?!" Georgia asked and looked at the tablet as well then her eyes widened.

"What the hell..?" Kasumi asked and seemed discouraged.

"That shit doesn't matter." I said.

Everyone looked at me and watched me stand up.

"No matter what happens out there, fight with your heart! For us to be kicked out of the tournament, we need to lose two times. We are here to pick up the slack so don't worry your heads over a loss." I encouraged.

{Leadership Increased!}

{Georgia, Nova, and Kasumi are getting pumped!}

"I agree! We just need to do our best! Let's go show them the Equinox way!" Nova said excitedly.

"Right!" Georgia and Kasumi said.

"Here we go! Our first match, Equinox vs. Team Fraskia!" Trinity announced.

Georgia, Nova, and Kasumi walked out onto the battlefield and noticed Hisumi, Liao Ru, and Misao walking onto the battlefield as well. Georgia as the leader of her team, had a determined look on her face.

Hisumi sensed the energies of the girls and smiled. "After your first battle, I've been interested in fighting your leader. I guess he's taking a break for now, so I wonder how strong you all will be!"

Georgia got into her fighting stance and looked serious. "We might not be on Kaden's level, but I can say for sure we can keep up with you!"

Shiro watched from a distance and looked at both teams. He crossed his arms and closed his eyes. "I can see a clean sweep by Fraskia. I don't know why Kaden wouldn't just come out and carry the dead weight."

Lustie watched and looked at Shiro. She looked back at the battle. "Maybe he sees something in them that you don't."

The words begin appeared on the screen and a signal went off. Hisumi launched herself at Georgia and went for a spinning kick. Georgia blocked it and grunted.

'What the fuck..? She's strong as hell..!' Georgia thought to herself.

Hisumi kicked Georgia back and ran after her. Georgia dodged her next attack then tried to counter, but Hisumi blocked it then struck her face. Hisumi followed it with a kick to knock Georgia upwards then she jumped up and grabbed Georgia's face and slammed her to the ground.

"Shit..! She just got handled too quickly..!" Nova said then dodged Misao's attack.

"You should focus on me!" Misao bellowed and hit Nova with a sweep kick then knocked Nova upwards.

Nova performed aerial flares and fired multiple fireballs at Misao, but Misao deflected each one and vanished then appeared behind Nova. Nova looked surprised then groaned as she was knocked to the ground. Misao landed on the ground and watched Nova.

Nova recovered and dashed toward Misao then performed a Windmill, surrounding her body with wind energy. Misao noticed and tried to counter, but grunted when she was knocked upwards from the wind. Nova transitioned into a NY Flare, juggling Misao then performed an Air Flare, knocking Misao higher in the air.

"WOW! That unique fighting style completely caught Misao off guard!" Trinity announced in awe.

"That is her signature Street Style. The unpredictability of her fighting style gives her the edge because of the sheer agility needed to perform moves with such efficiency." Papa Gregory said.

Nova performed an Air Cancel into a crescent kick, knocking Misao down to the ground. Misao recovered and smirked. She dashed toward Nova and dodged her next strike then used her Earth Energy to create a rock pillar to knock Nova upward. Nova groaned and tried to recover, but a thunderbolt assist from Hisumi knocked Nova back down to the ground.

"Damn, Nova had a chance...but Misao quickly read her like a book..." Lustie said and crossed her arms.

Kasumi had no luck against Liao Ru as Liao Ru kept dodging her attacks, almost like she could see the attacks before Kasumi threw them. She parried the next strike and punched Kasumi's stomach then knocked her away. Liao Ru walked forward and redirected the wind blasts back to Kasumi then used her own wind blast to launch Kasumi away into a wall.

Kasumi groaned and fell to her knees. She panted and her hair covered her eyes.

"As I suspected, a clean sweep. Even with Nova's unpredictability with her Street Style, she wasn't able to keep up with her opponents." Shiro said.

"Is it over? Is Equinox done for?!" Trinity asked.

Georgia slowly stood up and grunted softly. She moved her hair from her eyes then her tattoo on her back began to shine as she began to awaken her power.

"You have more fight left in you huh? That's what I like to see, never give up until the very end." Hisumi said then smiled.

Rhea, Mila, and Akari watched with concern. They knew Georgia and the others didn't stand a chance against Hisumi and her team, but I had faith in them that they would at least prove to be a challenge.

Georgia's aura surrounded around her body powerfully and she began to awaken her inner power that she kept locked up for a long time. "This fight...is only just starting!"

Hisumi looked at Nova and Kasumi, seeing them get up as well. She smirked and looked at Georgia. "I guess I should take this a bit more serious huh?"

Georgia noticed lightning crackling around Hisumi's body. Hisumi lowered her stance then propelled herself toward Georgia at lightning speeds and went for an attack. Georgia parried the attack and struck Hisumi's stomach. She used a force of energy to blow Hisumi away then lowered her stance and slammed her hand on the ground then powerful lightning surged around Georgia's body.

Georgia dashed toward Hisumi and let out a battle cry. Hisumi blocked Georgia's roundhouse kick and grunted. Georgia bellowed and broke through Hisumi's guard then spun around with a kick to Hisumi's stomach, knocking her away. Hisumi recovered and her eyes shined brightly.

"Now things are turning up!" Hisumi said then dashed toward Georgia.

Nova dodged Misao's strikes and hit Misao with an elbow strike then sweep kicked into a Virgin Flare, striking Misao and followed it with a Nutcracker. She finished her combo with a lightning kick, knocking Misao away.

Misao recovered and grunted as she was paralyzed from the lightning kick. 'This boost of power, what is this..?'

Kasumi used a burst of speed to move around Liao Ru quickly and used her Bio-Wind to make her footsteps inaudible. Liao Ru stood still and dodged Kasumi then noticed it was an afterimage. She dodged the real strike and parried each strike Kasumi threw at her.

'She's faster...but I can't allow myself to become rattled by a Second Wind!' Liao Ru thought to herself.

She countered Kasumi with a strike to her stomach then began to rush Kasumi with a barrage of strikes then struck Kasumi with a One Inch Punch, blowing Kasumi away. Kasumi crashed into the wall and was down for the count.

Hisumi and Georgia clashed rapidly, but Georgia felt her energy depleting quickly. She tried her hardest to keep up with Hisumi, but in the end she couldn't. It's been too long since she's used her power, so she was rusty and forgot about her energy control.

Hisumi began to parry each strike then struck Georgia with a left hook then a barrage of lightning fast strikes and kicked Georgia away. Hisumi raised her hand in the air then swiped her hand down, causing bolts of lightning to crash down and strike Georgia.

'No...Not...yet..!' Georgia through to herself.

"What's this?! A THIRD WIND?! Georgia isn't falling!" Trinity yelled and stood up from her seat.

Georgia growled and her hair shined blue and white then her aura only grew stronger. "I won't fall just yet!"

Hisumi was a bit surprised and smirked. She dashed toward Georgia and Georgia dashed toward Hisumi then the two clashed rapidly before Georgia kicked Hisumi away and dashed after her. She fired multiple rays of light at Hisumi from her fingertips.

Hisumi deflected each strike then bellowed and transformed into a form that looked like a Super Form. "You're good, but let's see how you will do against my Ruler Form."

'That woman got Hisumi to genuinely transform? This Third Wind ability is something else..' Liao Ru thought to herself.

"This is Georgia's Pride. When she's desperate to win, her soul will literally not let her give up until she knows she's done all she could. She calls it Third Wind." I explained and crossed my arms.

"I've never seen anything like this, but it's funny how Trinity said a third wind when her actual ability is actually called Third Wind." Rhea said and chuckled.

Lance and Roman watched the battle and stared at Georgia. They didn't even know Georgia had Third Wind as it is a Forbidden Technique of the Matsugaya Clan.

Hisumi and Georgia continued to clash until Hisumi knocked Georgia upwards then propelled herself after her. She began to move around Georgia rapidly and struck her from all directions then appeared above Georgia and palmed Georgia's stomach. Georgia coughed blood then was launched to the ground. She crashed onto the ground and reverted to normal.

Nova noticed it and looked surprised. Even with her Third Wind, she couldn't keep up with Hisumi. Nova's aura disappeared and she looked over at Kasumi who was also out for the count. She looked at Hisumi and smirked.

"I guess I'm the only one left, but I'm not quitting just yet!" Nova bellowed and performed multiple flares and summoned a tornado around herself.

The tornado only became stronger and stronger. Misao grunted as she slid back from the high winds. The tornado began to sparkle and shine brightly.

"Liao!" Hisumi called out.

Liao Ru transformed into her Ruler Form and flew up to the sky then dove through the middle of the tornado. Nova performed a Drill and bellowed.

"Taste the might of my Mitsuki Arts! Heavenly Typhoon!" Nova bellowed and the tornado began damaging Liao Ru and sending out razor winds at Hisumi and Misao.

Hisumi formed a lightning force field around herself and Misao to block the razor winds. "Liao Ru!"

Liao Ru bellowed and her flames turned black and she pushed through the high winds. "Phoenix Dive!"

Liao Ru broke through the high winds and collided with Nova then a large explosion happened. The crowd was on the edge of their seats. Everyone watched closely to see the aftermath.

The smoke cleared and everyone noticed Liao Ru had appeared beside Hisumi and grunted as she had taken massive recoil damage. She fell to one knee and grunted. Nova was on the ground, knocked out.

"T-The match is over! Equinox has lost their first battle! Team Fraskia wins!" Trinity announced.

The crowd cheered and chanted.

I smiled and closed my eyes. "They fought their hardest, but it was to be expected...however Nova's Heavenly Typhoon was something else."

Rhea smiled and nodded. "I quite enjoyed watching it, but I am sad that we lost our match..."

"We will pick up the slack. Equinox never truly loses." Royal said.

"Yeah! We will pick up the pace and make it to the finals!" Freya said determinedly.

Akari smiled at us then looked back at the screen. "I believe in all of you..."
