Suddenly, Many ambulances arrived at the station and started loading the injured.
"Sir, Can you help this man ?" Lucian asked one of the aid specialist as he carried the old man into his hands.
His white shirt was fully stained in blood and his hands were shaking.
"Load him into this ambulance and sit tight... I will be driving fast. The hospital is near. If we made it on time... This man should live." The ambulance driver spoke as he drove the ambulance with full speed and reached the hospital in just 6 minutes.
The old man was immediately carried to the Operation theatre on a stretcher.
"Umm... Can I leave now ?" Lucian asked the doctor.
"You saved him ?" The doctor asked.
"Yeah." Lucian replied.
"Go and sit on that chair... Cops will come and record your statement. After that, you can leave." Doctor spoke as he left immediately after that.
"What have I involved myself into ?" Lucian spoke as he sat on a bench and fell asleep right there.
"Oi, wake up..." Suddenly a man's voice rang.
Lucian woke up and noticed that it was a cop.
"O-Oh... Hi. I-I mean, how can I help you ?" Lucian asked in a sleepy state.
"Are you the guy, Who helped Mr. James ?" The cop asked.
"That old man, Yeah." Lucian replied.
"Mr. James wants to have a talk with you... Please come with me." Suddenly, A man spoke from behind. He was wearing a black and white uniform just like lawyer.
"Me...?" Lucian asked.
"Yes, Come fast... He doesn't have that much time." The lawyer spoke with a serious expression.
"Y-Yes." Lucian stood up and immediately entered inside the room.
The old man was sitting on the bed and there were several drips attached to his body.
"H-Hello..." Lucian spoke as he entered inside the room.
"Hello, Young man... Come here, Let me have a good look at your face." The old man spoke with a smile.
Lucian walked upto him and stood near him.
"Lucian... Is that your name ?" The old man asked.
"Yes, Sir..." Lucian replied with a neutral expression.
"You've topped your school, Your college as well but then got betrayed by your own Girlfriend. Is that right ?" The old man asked.
"Y-Yes... But how do you know this ?" Lucian asked with a confused expression.
"I know many things, Kid. But... I don't have much time left now. My name is James, James Dunkins." The old man spoke with a smile.
"Wait... James Dunkins. As in Dunkins & Dunkins Pharmaceuticals ? The shark of the pharmaceutical industry ?" Lucian asked with a confused expression.
"Yes, Yes... You know my company hahaha. Very good." The old man spoke with a smile.
"Know your company ? You are one of the biggest guy out there, Sir. How can I not know you ?" Lucian spoke with a shocked expression.
"Umm... Sir." The lawyer spoke from behind.
"Yes, Yes... So, Lucian. You are an orphan, right ?" James asked with a smile.
"Yeah..." Lucian replied.
"Want to become my kid ?" James asked.
"Eh...?" As soon as Lucian heard this... He got shocked to his core.
"Don't tell me..." The real Lucian who was sitting in the court stood up and looked at the Fate-writer with a serious expression.
"Yes..." The Fate writer replied with a smile.
"Why not, Sir ?" Lucian replied.
"Fine... Sign these papers and You will become Mr. James's son. One and only heir of the Dunkin Pharmaceuticals." The lawyer spoke up as he gave him some papers.
After this moment... Lucian's life changed and he became one of the richest persons on earth. He turned the tables on those who betrayed him and lived a happy life after.
As soon as the story ended, the Screen disappeared.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKK." Lucian shouted loudly as he went down on his knees and started crying.
"Child... Child look at me." God spoke with a worried expression.
"Nooo... I could've had that life. Please send me back, God... Please send me back... I beg you please send me back." Lucian spoke as he started crying.
"Child, We can't do that..." God replied with a serious expression.
"But, Y-You are God. You can do anything..." Lucian spoke with a serious expression.
"No, My child... Even I am bound by rules. I can't revert time or give you that body back." God replied with a smile.
Lucian couldn't bear the pressure anymore and went down on his knees once again.
He joined both of his hands and begged...
"Please, Send me to that dark place once again. I-I don't want to be here... Please just send me back." Lucian spoke.
"Lucian, My child... I know you have seen very dark moments and have been through a lot, but void is not a place to be for you, Lucian.
You are a very good person-"
"I don't want to be a fucking good person anymore. I don't want to be anything... Just send me back please." Lucian begged to be sent back to the void.
"My child..." Suddenly, the Goddess of Love came running towards Lucian and hugged him tightly.
As soon as she hugged him, She felt his sadness, his grievances, the Betrayals and his struggle that he had endured until this day.
Even the goddess started crying when she felt this.
"Goddess of Love, Please seprate yourself from the child..." God ordered.
"Yes, God..." She spoke as she immediately backed off from Lucian.
"Lucian Bloodmoon, My child... I can't send you back to the Void and Since you had more years to live in that world, I have to give them to you as well.
So, I am going to transfer you to another world. You will be free of karma in this world and you can do whatever you want here.
You will be free of the Fate-writer's pen. You will write your own Fate and nothing will be pre-decided in your life anymore. I wish you, all the best for your next Life my Child. You have my blessings." God delivered his final judgement and slammed his golden hammer down on the table to seal it.
"What- !?" Before Lucian could've completed his sentence, a portal opened beneath him and he started falling down.
