I was interviewed by several companies, but none of them offered a wage that met my expectations. It's not that I was picking a job. I merely need a high wage right now because I would be paying a lot for Nico's treatment. I had depleted all of my savings and needed to start saving again. I used to tell myself that I would accept any job, but now I realized that it’s not even possible. It's not that simple. If I were to get paid a modest amount, it would only be enough for my food allowance. How about my other expenses? My additional necessities include bus fare, toiletries, and others. And of course, Nico.

I sighed as I continued to walk towards the bus stop. I’ll pay Nico a visit to the hospital first before going home and taking a rest. I’ll be going out again tomorrow to look for job opportunities that would pay me a higher salary.
