Oil under the house

Nate wakes up after one of his 3pm nap and... the house is burned down, a snake ate his dog who ate his cat and somehow his bed is on the next door neighbor's roof, but luckily no one got hurt and both his parents saved everything worth saving like their ID's and he asks what happened and no one answers. Luckily, through some miracle in that fire they discovered oil under their house trying to put out the fire with dirt because there was a drought and there was no water, the fire was massive because it wasn't any old fire so they used a lot of dirt and the fire department was busy putting out a fire somewhere in Mexico, something about the biggest fire in the history of Earth, which would explain the nation wide wide drout. Anyway back to the oil, they found oil under the house and Nate was always aware of this and says "Oh, that's the thick, black water I use to water the garden" And his father says "That's not the only thing that's thick" And his mother says for him to calm down and it wasn't his fault he didn't know how valuable it is and his dad says "Fine, I'll stop calling him thick headed,.. but he better stay away from my garden. No wonder the carrots taste that funky" And Nate says "They taste like rainbow" And his mom says "Well, at least that explains why I've recently been able to smell sound
