What Do We Do?

Steve was stunned and pissed at the same time as he watched Chloe eat her food in his office, he felt dragging the plate of food away from her hands. How could she walk into his office and drop a bombshell about her being pregnant for him, and then goes back to eating her food as nothing has happened? Or was she playing a prank on him?

"Chloe, you do understand the magnitude of what you just said, right?" He asked her in an angry tone.

Chloe raised her head from her plate of food. "Of course I do," she replied with her mouth full.

"Why__" Steve paused on what he wanted to say when his phone started ringing, it was his father. Was he already aware of Chloe's pregnancy being his? Was that why he was calling him?

"Did you tell anyone about this?" He asked Chloe.

"Apart from you, no one else knows," Chloe replied.

Steve decided to answer his father's call and find out why he was calling him, "Hello dad."
