No Shying Away

Steve was working in his office when his assistant came to tell him Joan was around. 

"Please let her in," Steve said. He wondered why Joan had come to see him. Or probably it was because he left for work before she woke up. Or did something happen?

"Hey, there handsome?" Joan said as she walked into his office, her face beaming with a smile. Steve got up from his chair, went to meet her, and hugged her. Ever since they settled their differences, they've been living together in peace, and they were both working on getting their friendship back to where it used to be. Although it was hard for him to look at her and not have any sexual desires for her, as they still sleep in separate rooms and were yet to consummate their marriage. 

"You smell nice," Joan said.

"Thank you," Steve pulled out a chair for her to sit, before going back to sit in his chair.
