Benefit Of Doubt

Joan's mother was talking to a friend of hers who came to see her when she saw one of her sisters-in-law walking towards her with an angry look on her face. Joan's mother was surprised because she didn't know when she came in.

"You are happy now, aren't you? Now that you've killed him are you happy?" Her sister-in-law asked her in a raised voice. She was about to hit Joan's mum when Steve's dad quickly came and grabbed her hands from behind.

"And what do you think you are about to do?" Steve's father asked her, as he held her hands tight and pushed her away from Joan's mum.

Her other sister and Joan's half-brother were all led outside by the security men that Steve and his dad had kept on standby in case something like this happened.

"This is my father's house! You can't throw me out!" Adebayo shouted at the security men as they raised him by his trousers and carried him outside the compound.
