"Why?" A faint but soft voice asked, taking Nene's attention, Nene who was leaning on her palms and staring at the girl beside her smiled, eyes almost closed, she waved her other hand to the girl beside her and chuckled. "Nothing, you look cute today! Himiko!" Nene beamed at her crush, raising both of her arms to her. Himiko huffed, looking away from Nene, she wasn't used hearing those things Nene says from other people, so Himiko didn't understand why she had to deal with Nene complimenting her everyday. "Thanks," Himiko muttered.

The courtyard of their school was silent, only Himiko and Nene were there, since the both of them don't have clubs to go to after school, they have time to stay at the courtyard and talk. "You're reactions are always the same...what's wrong?" Nene asked, leaning at the small girl beside her. Himiko scooted away from Nene, and had a confused look on her face. "Nothing really, just bothered at the fact I don't have clubs to join at." Himiko muttered under her breath with a sigh.

"What? Don't you like staying here with me?" Nene asked, trying to get a good view of her "friend". Himiko glanced at Nene, their faces a few inches apart, Nene could feel Himiko's sweet breath blow in her face, blood gushing up to Nene's head, her face hot, she was flustered and red. "well, I don't really have anything to do here." Himiko mumbled.

Nene, who was red, scooted away, breathing heavily as her face turns back to it's natural color. Trying not to look weird, Nene smiles again. "What if we join the same club?" Nene offered, fixing her uniform, hands on the bench where she and Himiko are seating, her voice comes out soothing, enough to put Himiko in a state of tranquility. "I'll look for a club I'm interested at." Himiko answered, before she face the field from afar. Nene's gaze went down to her shoes, as she once again, took a deep breath before calming herself from the deep silence she's at. "Inform me if you find one, I'll try to join too."

Nene's sentence made Himiko confused, Himiko glanced at Nene, who was still looking at her shoes. "Huh?" The soft yet small voice coming from Himiko made Nene look up at her, confused as Himiko was. "Why?" Nene asked, trying to get something from Himiko's soft 'huh'.

"Why are you joining with me?" Himiko asked, the question made Nene silent, no answers in her mind, she was sure that she said that because she wanted to be with Himiko all the time, but now, Himiko is asking her, what is she suppose to answer. Nene lets out a small 'uhh..' as she continue trying to look for answer, Himiko's deep stares wasn't even helping, it only makes things worst. Nene's heart was beating fast, the tip of her ears heating up, Nene looks down at her hand, before up at Himiko again. "Because...things are more fun if I'm with you! I don't have any clubs I'm interested at, Raura, Hinata, and Marina's club is not really that interesting so, you know? I want to know if what you like so I can think of mine too." Nene's sentence was almost stuck on her throat, as she was facing Himiko, the sun slowly starts to go down, the sky was orange, the colors from the sky reflects at Himiko and Nene, and in Nene's eyes, she was seeing Himiko in a way she never expected, she was out of words as Himiko continues to make a staring contest with her.

Himiko then adjusted her seat, facing back at where she was facing before, Himiko started playing with her necktie. "And?" Himiko whispers. Nene is sure she was looking like an idiot beside Himiko at that moment, but instead of even thinking about it, Nene brushes it off of her head and lets out a small chuckle. "That's it." Nene stated.

For Himiko, when Nene started to talk to her a lot, she felt like it was bothering her, or let's say, it was annoying her, she never needed anyone to accompany her everytime, but ever since they became classmate, Nene has never stopped talking to her, they've only been classmates from some weeks now, but Nene was already decided to stay, what a peculiar girl.

Meanwhile for Nene, it was fun, so fun, and to explain it with words, it wasn't enough, words are not enough to explain how it feels to be besides Himiko, not even Marina and her hand movements would still not be enough to explain everything through.

Himiko stood up, brushing her hands against her skirt, looking down at Nene. Nene's eyes stares up at Himiko, Himiko's shadow towering her, that time, Himiko felt tall, looking down at Nene, Nene on the other hand felt like she was staring at heaven, Himiko.

"I should go home now." Himiko stated, before bending and reaching for her bag, she once again faced Nene, with the normal stoic, lazy looking face, and a pout on her lips. "Bye." Himiko mutters.

Nene then out of nowhere, stood up, her hand accidentally hitting the bench, with a loud 'ow!' she stood there as Himiko face her again, but with a confused face. Nene chuckled nervously, shaking her hand to take the pain away, she then picked her bag from the ground. "I'll take you home!"

Himiko stared at her, before facing away and started walking. Nene took it as a signal of yes from Himiko, walking beside her as they continued to travel out of the school grounds.

The walk was silent, Nene didn't know how she would break the ice and the wall between them, but she had no choice but to just follow the tracks where Himiko leads her. Himiko was the same, she was just casually walking with no worries, like a cat who's used to running around the street, nowhere to go.

Nene tries not to appear weird, casually staring at her every seconds and then looking away again, Himiko could pretend she doesn't feel Nene staring at her, because it wasn't a big deal. Nene continued to admire the girl beside her, long eyelashes, cute nose, puppy eyes, pouty lips, wavy hair, and a bangs that gives her the cute look, Nene couldn't stop looking and taking Himiko in.

After some minutes of walking, they finally reached Himiko's house, Himiko stops, before facing Nene, she has the same look on her face, there Nene just stares at her again. "I'll go ahead now, take care." Himiko stated, and it was just the first time Himiko actually said something like that, and the first time she agreed to Nene taking her home.

Himiko enters inside their house, closing the gate, there Nene stood, frozen, she gave Himiko's house a look, before facing away with a smile, like a puppy, she giggled, slapping her face a few times before fixing her posture. "That was really nice!" She chimed.

Hoping for a part two of her taking himiko home, she pumped her fist in the air, determined, she started walking. "I'm going to take her home once again!"
