Struggling
Ailyn threw a look at Ru Long as he drove through the city at a steady pace. He had only asked her out a month ago and she had not hesitated in saying yes. At the time, her life had been in a tangle and he had come like a life saver. She would have called him her Knight in shining armor but she knew he did not appreciate that.
Since it had not taken him any pains to pursue her, she always felt as if she was off balance. She knew she should have been coy and pushed him away a little but she had fallen for him too hard and too fast. Initially, she had enjoyed getting to know him and usually he even seemed to enjoy spending time with her baby Eli while she got a little time to rest. She always made a point to excuse herself and take a bath when he was over so that she would be fresh when she met him.
