Amelia Martin trembled all over, overwhelmed by the oppressive atmosphere, not expecting it to turn out this way.

When she bullied new employees on normal days, no one else would usually find out. But today, Scarlet Lewis's sudden appearance completely wrecked her.

It was all because of this bitch, Sophia Cloud!

Not only was Sophia personally brought into the company by Young Master Lewis, but even Miss Lewis family came to see her in person!

Why? She's just a mute, why does she get so much care from everyone!

Amelia Martin knelt on the ground, filled with hatred but still stubborn, "Miss Lewis, as a senior employee, I was merely asking her to copy some documents. I did no wrong. Instead, it's Sophia Cloud. As soon as she arrived, she showed us a disdainful face. How can the other employees stand this?"

Scarlet Lewis sneered with contempt; even now, this woman was still talking tough.

She instructed her assistant to play the surveillance footage, and the prior scenes all replayed at double speed.

In the footage, after Sophia Cloud left the office, Amelia Martin couldn't help viciously maligning Sophia and mockingly taunted her with a scornful expression.

When Sophia returned from the copy room, Amelia went further by knocking the documents out of her hands, twisting the truth and framing Sophia for the mess.

With such wicked intentions, does she still have a place in Lewis's corporation?

The other employees watched with fear and trepidation, realizing that everything had been a one-woman show orchestrated by Amelia Martin.

From beginning to end, Sophia Cloud was the victim, and they bullied her even more for her inability to speak.

After the video ended, Scarlet Lewis massaged her temples and waved her hand, signalling her assistant to drag Amelia Martin out.

"Go to the finance department to settle your wages, and from now on, you are forbidden to step half a foot into Lewis's company! Nor may you enter any of our branches!"

This was effectively driving her into a corner.

The Lewis Group, within the entire city, was a force to be reckoned with, the only one that could match the Harrell Family.

This move completely cut off all of Amelia Martin's future financial opportunities!

Quite the ruthless character.

As Amelia Martin was being led away, she cursed at Sophia Cloud, "You're nothing but a mute, a whore who climbed the ladder with her body! You won't die a good death, won't die a good death!"

Sophia Cloud's face turned pale with anger, wanting to defend herself, but all that came out were "woo woo" sounds as she mouthed wordlessly.

Coming back to her senses, she realized she had become a mute.

She was mute now.

After dealing with Amelia Martin, Scarlet Lewis sternly made every employee take turns standing guard outside the copy room, each for a penalty of two hours, until the whole staff had taken their turn.

The purpose of doing so was to remind everyone to be friendly towards new employees so that harmony could still prevail among them.

The crowd couldn't help but sweat for themselves, knowing that such a punishment was already lenient.

They also understood that Sophia Cloud was not someone they could afford to provoke.

Sophia Cloud personally witnessed an act of standing up for her. From the bottom of her heart, she was grateful to Scarlet Lewis. As she was about to leave, she deeply bowed to Scarlet again, and made a "thank you" gesture.

Scarlet Lewis merely waved her hand, "You don't have to do this. My father and your grandfather were good friends. The current situation of the Cloud family isn't something you can control. You needn't thank me. Since Christopher Lewis brought you to work at the company, he must have his reasoning. Remember, no matter what happens in the future, never let yourself be wronged."

Every time she thought of her grandfather, her eyes gradually moistened, and the corners of her eyes turned slightly red. Her grandfather had done so much for the Cloud Family in his lifetime, and he was a respected elder in the business world.

On the other hand, Amelia Martin was thrown out of Lewis's family company by two assistants, falling to the ground like a stone. Her body hit the pavement with a dull thud, looking extremely disheveled.

Sitting on the ground, she cried piteously, pointing at the doors of Lewis's family company and swearing loudly, "Sophia Cloud will not die a good death! A dumb lunatic! She's nothing but a lowlife! You're all blind to treat me this way!"

Passersby turned to look, and when they heard the name "Sophia Cloud," Evelyn Smith's gaze paused.

After Amelia Martin had her fill of cursing and crying, she wiped her tears, rose from the ground, and prepared to leave.

As she left the street where Lewis's family company was located, Evelyn suddenly blocked her path at the corner.

Amelia Martin was in a foul mood and swore reflexively, "Good dog, don't block the path, I'm not in the mood today!"

Evelyn Smith, smiling radiantly, took out a stack of red banknotes from her bag and stuffed them into Amelia's hand.

Amelia Martin's eyes widened, and she quickly pocketed the money, hiding it in her bosom. She looked around suspiciously and, after making sure no one was paying attention to them, she relaxed slightly.

"Miss is beautiful and kind-hearted, is there anything I can help you with?"

"That little wench Sophia Cloud!" Amelia Martin couldn't help but curse again but then immediately silenced herself and looked at Evelyn suspiciously, "Who are you?"

Evelyn's gaze was chilly, "I have a grudge against her too, so I want to know how she has wronged you."

Hearing that she also had a grudge against the mute, Amelia Martin let her guard down, spitting on the ground with contempt, "That wench, she's latched onto the Young Master of Lewis family. Before Evelyn could finish, Amelia Martin, startled, clung tightly to the money and hurried away with her head down.

Evelyn's lips curved into a smile as she glanced at Lewis's family company not far away.

So she managed to snag Christopher Lewis? Then she shouldn't blame her for not considering sisterly affection!
