CHAPTER 4 : Oath

Tsunade pouted, obviously dissatisfied with the outcome of the bets.

  At the same time, she was holding the candy that Chiba forced her to put in her mouth and was muttering to herself.

  Chiba happily followed Tsunade, also holding a candy in her mouth. However, he never mentioned that Tsunade lost all the "money", and silently counted a few bills from a stack of bills he held...

  "Hey, Tsunade, let's settle the bill with interest."

  Handing seven bills to the girl, Tsunade turned around and wanted to show her angry expression, but when she saw the money, her bright brown eyes sparkled again.

  Tsunade suddenly took the money handed over by Chiba, and the corners of Tsunade's mouth turned up slightly, seemingly emerging from the cloud of "bankruptcy" again.

  In the next second, Tsunade paused, almost bumping into Chiba who was following her, and immediately became thoughtful.

  Chiba was silent, watching Tsunade toss a coin with one finger and press it firmly into the back of her hand three seconds later.

  But in the next second, the expression on Tsunade's face fell and her face immediately changed.

  When the words came to her mouth, Tsunade suddenly stopped, she secretly looked at Chiba who acted as if nothing had happened, she gradually felt relieved.

  "This one doesn't count!"

  "Well, okay, then that one doesn't count."

Chiba smiled softly and said, "The wind is a little strong today, that might have affected the result. Let's try again."

Shaking her head seriously, a smile blossomed again on her face, leaving Chiba stunned for a moment.

  "You can try again when I'm ready this time, and without peeking."

  "Right."

  Once again, Tsunade tossed the coin and three seconds later, she looked at Chiba and asked.

"Which do you think it will be? Heads or tails? And how much do you bet?" Tsunade asked excitedly.

  "It's going to be expensive, and I'm all in!"

  "Okay! Let's see which one fell..."

  Tsunade's face was red at first, but when she looked which way the coin fell, she was perplexed.

"What!?"

Tsunade couldn't help but scream when she saw the result, she was lost again.

  Reluctantly, she handed the notes she had just received to Chiba, then she pouted again and slowly walked into the classroom.

  She was broke again...

  Chiba was even happier. She followed Tsunade step by step and returned to her seats.

  Ignoring the noise made by the children around her, Tsunade, who was still angry, completely destroyed the book '1000 Ways to Win at the Game'.

  It's still the violent Tsunade, but the more he goes about it, the more Chiba likes her.

  Of course, Chiba didn't want to be like that book, much less be ravaged by Tsunade like that.   

  Just watching silently, Tsunade, who was venting anger at her, suddenly stopped moving and turned her head to glare at Chiba fiercely.

  "What are you looking at? You made me lose so much... Are you boasting about my misfortune?!"

  "No, I was just thinking of a more interesting bet."

Chiba quickly set the trap for Tsunade.

"For example, I bet you're going to be unhappy today."  

  "How is this possible!"

"Well, time isn't up yet, so..."

  "Wait a minute, so if you want to complete this bet, wouldn't you have to stay with me for the rest of the day?" Tsunade also discovered the problem and frowned slightly.

  "There's no need to worry so much. The bet will end after the sun sets. After that we'll see who won the bet."

  "So what's going to be bet?"

  "But Tsunade, playing too much is not a good thing, it could even be considered vulgar"

  "Of course playing is good, and what's common about playing!? There really is nothing vulgar!

  Tsunade interrupted Chiba, her face red.

"Let's just..."

  "Tsunade, the biggest problem is that you don't have any money right now!" Chiba opened his hands and gave the girl a gentle reminder.

  Tsunade stood stunned on the spot, the flush of excitement on her face disappearing. She shook her body and then slumped her shoulders in frustration.

  But in the next second, Tsunade was filled with an unknown anger, stood up suddenly and glared at Chiba.

  Tsunade roared madly in her heart and clenched her fists, preparing to throw a few good punches at Chiba.

  "Wow...bet." Chiba reminded in a low voice.

  Tsunade deflated like a balloon. She opened her mouth to speak, but Chiba quickly stuffed a candy into her mouth.

  "You have to be happy to win."

  recalled Chiba, and at the same time explained his bet: "If you win, I'll invite you to dinner and I'll even give you back the money I won from you."

  "Obviously it will be the same for you, if you win you will buy me dinner."

  Tsunade was a little confused, she just felt like something was wrong, but she couldn't put her finger on exactly what. After thinking for a bit, Tsunade nodded.

  "Okay, I agree with this bet. Let's say hello..."

  "No greetings, it's too cliché."

After thinking for a while, Chiba whispered, "We can take a pinky oath."

  After saying that, Chiba blushed a little and continued talking to himself.

  Tsunade blushed. No matter how slow she was, she still realized what Chiba was going to do.

  But seeing that Chiba's behavior was in line with common sense and not outside of her standards, Tsunade could only classify it as something childish, not knowing that it was all a routine.

  Chiba's expression became serious, and her personality seemed to have changed, becoming extremely stable and mature.

  Suddenly, Tsunade realized something about Chiba.
