Chapter 22

The Ven was heading somewhere else. The band didn't know the place either. The band manager was talking with the person from the company. The first day with the music distribution company was starting now. The CEO of Troy music distribution company seemed awkward all the time. So, they couldn't understand his words well. However, their band manager was following the guideline and go to the place. When the car stopped, Zac headed out to the window and look. He said, "Ned come over here and look". Ned was looking as Zac did and say, "What is this place?". Their manager was turning on the speaker and then they hear that person's voice clearly. It was saying, this place is for them to practice and learn more. Zac said, "No way". That person said, "On the other hand, you all need to work hard to prove it". Zac said, "Proof to him that we are worthing to get a chance to debut". That person said, "yes". Rain said, "It was pushing the people a lot". Zac said, "We like to do it as a challenge and we won't lose you". The group was starting to become a family. V and Eve were looking at the guys in the group and they asked, "What about our stuff and our instruments". Zac said, "We will get new here right". That person's said, "Right". When the call end, someone moves up to their car. The manager was getting out of the car and talking with that stranger. They were waiting inside. And then, the stranger was checking the people inside and allowed them in. They needed to pass the main entrance gate to go inside. When they got inside and the Ven stop in front of the portico, the leader was getting out of Ven and looking around. Then, the others got out of the Ven.

After having a conversation with Christina, inspector Clordi got the call and he need to return to his department. On his way back to Oregon, he didn't like this happening. However, he needed to follow the chief's order. And then, he was speeding up the car and playing the music. Half down the road, someone called his phone with an unregistered number. He was picked up and answered, "Hello, who am I talking to". That person said, "Hello, the inspector did you forget me already". He said, "Who are you?". That person said, "It's me Rain, you are looking for me in Seattle right". He said to himself in mind, "How can she get my number?". But he cleared his throat and said, "I am not looking for you". That person said, "It's okay, Seattle is my town and I don't have to care about policies anymore". He said, "What are you talking about?". That person said, "Listen carefully, I am not the murderer as you think always". He said, "You kill my partner and your own family". That person said, "Can't you get over it already?". He said, "I will find more evidence to put you back behind the bars". That person was laughing out loud and said, "Come and meet me if you have time at Uncle Benjamin's cafe". He said, "You are smart at hiding and seeking". That person said, "I am not hiding but you can't find me once carefully". He said, "Why are you calling me?". That person said, "I want you to tell her to stop acting like the fool again". He said, "Who do you mean?". That person said, "Christina Dulin". He said, "You should go to meet her". That person said, "Christina and I aren't relating in blood so why do I have to". He said, "Your mother was marrying Drake Dulin so you must say sorry for their lost". That person said, "Listen, I will not do that". Then, that person hung up the phone from the other side. And then, he was stopping his car on the left side of the road. He was grabbing the phone tight in his hand. His tears dropped and shiver with anger. He said, "What is it right now?". He said, "Is she telling me that she is innocent?". He said, "how can it be possible?". He said, "I am confused now but why is she getting my number and calling me". Then, he remembered that he is giving his number to everyone who know her well in the town of Seattle. He thought back again one by one. However, there had no place with the name of Uncle Benjamin's cafe in his memory. He was never been there but why is she telling him this. He needed to figure it out by himself later. Now, he just headed back to Oregon.

After moving up to the new place, Rain headed out to somewhere else. Actually, the building for their band was getting near to her home and also the shops. She wasn't telling anyone but she has money in hand and was able to head out. Zac was watching her steps all the time and followed her. She knew that already but she doesn't mind. When she headed to the bookshop, he was following her. However, he couldn't know the place behind the bookshop. Uncle Benjamin the bookshop owner had the other interest so he open the cafe inner part of the shop. Therefore, the only members could get in there. There had food and coffee support for readers at the bookshop. When Zac reached the bookshop, he is finding her everywhere. She was disappearing in front of him. In the inner place, she could get unique books and internet access to find everything she want. It was quiet and peaceful. When she got in there, uncle Benjamin was shocked at first. But she was removing the mask and greeted him, "It's me Rain". He said, "I haven't seen you for a long time ago". Rain said, "I miss you too". He said, "What would you like to read?". Rain said, "I will find it by myself". And then, he was giving the note to her. Rain was taking that note and read it. Then, she asked him, "Seem like the strange inspector is finding me". He said, "I don't know your business but I hope this will be helpful for you". She said, "Thank you for trusting me". He was heading out to take some dessert for her as always. And then, she picked up the phone and dial that number.
