72 thrones, 72 kings, queens and rulers, each bearing the weight of a fallen kingdom on their shoulders.
They sit silently, waiting, in a circle in the midst of a black void and carefully size each other up.
Soon it would be time for their descend into a new world where they would compete against each other and that worlds natives in order to revive their fallen dominions and once again regime as rulers.
One of those 72 entities whose race varies greatly, is Titania Twilight, the ruler of the Fae and involuntary reincarnator.
Previously known as Sasha Klent, she lived a simple life on earth until a train accident marked the end of her time on that world and ended up awaking in a throne together with all those inhuman entities.
Luckily, she gained the memories of the owner of the body smoothly merged into her new role.
She now was one of the 72 pillars that would fall upone another world an incite a competition between all the pillars in the form of a war of conquest.
Each of the pillars will arrive on the new world with a nexus containing the essence of their fallen dominion's.
This essence has the form of mana, but as each mana is different from that of another world it will slowly spread out from the nexus and corrupt, saturate and claim the surrounding land.
Living entities with another mana will slow or stop the expansion, making it necessary to kill or corrupt them for the expansion to continue.
With the help of the nexus, it is possible for the rulers to summon subordinates, but there is a limit to how many there can be.
The summoned beings require a constant supply of mana from their world, meaning only a certain amount of summons can be maintained at a given time.
In order to increase the amount, the claimed territory needs to increase, as a bigger territory allows more mana to be released from the nexus.
