Chapter 35: The Heart of Darkness

Arthur's heartbeat thrummed in his ears as he and Trayona stood before the massive, foreboding door. The faint glow from the runes on the walls barely illuminated the vast chamber. The air was suffocatingly thick, pressing down on them, and their steps echoed ominously in the cavernous space. They both knew, instinctively, that whatever lay beyond the door was the source of the dungeon's malevolent energy.

"This place feels… alive," Trayona murmured, her voice shaking slightly as her hand gripped her bow tightly.

Arthur couldn't disagree. The entire chamber seemed to pulse with an ancient magic that sent a chill down his spine.
