Glacier Ability - [ Chapter - 9 ]

After that Ho-Seok went back to the inn and went to think of what he should do next since if he did something that could restrict his next move he would have to restart it all over again but then Calin suddenly started talking.

『Ho-Seok, I feel like something is calling me.』

When Ho-Seok heard that, he asked Calin what was he fealing and he asked if it was another ego but Calin took a while to answer and Ho-Seok was a bit worried that something unknown from his memories is happening.

「I-I haven't felt it」

『It doesn't feel like an ego, if it was Olivia should've felt it too but she didn't.』

『It feels more like a strong energy source that is similar to me but I'm not sure how.』

And Ho-Seok realized it might be connected to his ability and that was the reason why he felt it was a familiar feeling and so Ho-Seok asked Calin to guide him to where he was sensing it was.

Then after they went to the location where Calin was leading him too and he led Ho-Seok through the woods and until a tree and Ho-Seok was confused to see there was nothing there and checked if the tree was special but it wasn't.

『Umm, it feels like it's burried somewhere but I can't tell exactly where.』

So then Ho-Seok tried digging around the tree and after a while of digging around it, he found a box and so he opened to check it and it was like an orb but it didn't move or anything and so Ho-Seok asked Calin if he knew how to use it.

『I think you eat it?』

Ho-Seok trusted Calin and immediately ate the orb that was there and he suddenly felt a sudden burst of coldness and the place around him was freezing and Calin and Olivia was now worried about him.

『Ho-Seok!』

「Ho-Seok!」

But after a while it stopped and he felt extremely tired and like he didn't want to move but then suddenly a system notification came up and Ho-Seok sat down to check what was the notification for.

[Ding! The Player, "Ho-Seok" has gained the "Ocean And Glacier Authority" ability!]

Ho-Seok checked immediately to see what his new ability could do and he could completely control water and ice but it took a considerable amount of mental energy and mana to use it.

And then Ho-Seok remembered about Calin and he realized that Calin's ability responded to water and ice and his ability definitely has something to do with those elements or something similar to it.

Then after that Ho-Seok decided that he wanted to try and combine the new water and ice element to his chain attack just like his thunder and lightning authority and so he decided to go to another hidden dungeon.

He also summoned his skeletons and some undesd to get some experience themselves and Ho-Seok realized that they would be able to keep their level even after he went to his next life.

Since their names were exactly on the "Undead's True Ruler" skill and their levels were marked there as well, Ho-Seok never realized that any of them had names so he tried calling a few of the skeletons and undesd by their names.

[Ding! The summon's favorability of the player grew!]

When Ho-Seok saw this he checked to see what it meant and when he check it, it was the favorability of all his summons and the more favorability they have the stronger and more loyal they are.

So Ho-Seok decided that he would call all of them by their name and he was able to gain a bunch of favorability from all of his summons but it stopped after a while and then he started focusing on his new ability.

He told his summons to not interfere when he is fighting and so Ho-Seok asked Calin to become a chain and he did and he quickly tried combining the water attribute to the chain first.

And when it hit one of the monsters inside the dungeon, it didn't nothing except for the chain itself doing damage so Ho-Seok decided that he needed a better idea for the water ability.

He also realized that the ice ability would just freeze the chain and he also realize he couldn't move it freally like the metallic control ability so Ho-Seok thought he couldn't combine the new ability with his chain weapon.

But then after a while he realized he could just maie the water a long ranged attack, so he held the water connecting to the chains and when the chains whip he can release the water like bullets then turn it into ice then shoot it at his enemy.

And so he tried using this new idea he got onto his chain and the ice shards were able to deal a significant amount of damage to the monsters and he just needed any liquid and he could make it become bullets.

But while he was doing this he heard some people walking into the dungeon, so he quickly called all his skeletons to go back to him and he went to check why were they there.

Since he definitely remembered it wasn't supposed to be discovered yet but then suddenly they started talking about their secret hideout there and he noticed that one of them had tattoo on their arm.

And he noticed that all of them had that same tattoo on different parts of his body and he noticed that it was the Blood Thirst guild symbol, it was a guild full of player killers and they were never found in his previous life.

So he decided to follow them and he wore the cloak with the concealing skill and followed them and he followed them into their secret hideout and it was their actual official guild base.
