All Might, the world's most popular hero.

"Whohoo Jaune-Jaune! Represent!"

Age unknown, identity shrouded in mystery, Quirk unidentified.

One day he seemed to just pop into the hero scene of Remnant and was an instant phenomenon across the kingdoms. Brave, Strong and noble, the very embodiment of what it meant to be a hero, since his appearance crime-rates have drastically decreased. His very existence a major deterrent for many would be villains. And for that Reason many have taken to calling him the Beacon of Peace…

Pyrrha smiled, this was exactly what her partner dreamt of, of being a hero, of helping people. And sure maybe this universe was quite a bit different but she hoped it at least meant something that a version of her crush had achieved his goal.

And that very pillar of justice said to me.

"Ruby Rose, you too can become a hero."

Ruby smiled once more, that immense feeling of pride sinking in from her bestie saying that to her. From the scene of the other Ruby finally having her dream acknowledged by another. The corners of her eyes began to moisten as she hopped in place.

Those word hit deep, made her feel such hope that'd long since dwindled to nearly not. Someone finally believed in her… And it was the hero she most aspired to be like no less.

He waited there for her, to gather herself, to cry the tears she'd held back for so long. But never to ask her if she'd accept his help, because he knew… Ruby Rose was sure of what she wanted to do and he knew that. So, he continued his declaration as sure of her as Pyrrha had been of him.

Ren nodded.

"It would appear you mentored Jaune in this universe as well…" Pyrrha smiled at the prospect of her and Jaune having a similar relationship in that world as her own.

"Your actions have proven you worthy, to you I will pass on my powers and become One For All's inheritor." Ruby stilled then looking up confused.

"Wh-what?"

Inherit?

Weiss quirked a brow.

"So these Quirks can be transferred…"

"…"

The heiress glared up to the genie who seemed utterly content ignoring her, before she could begin to complain Blake reached out stopping her with a shake of the head, having long since given up herself.

"What do you inherit? And… What's 'One For All'?" Jaune smiled breaking into honest laughter.

"Sorry, guess I did jump the gun a bit there huh?" Calming down the living skeleton that was All Might walked towards the young reaper.

"Guess I'm a bit ahead of myself. Well don't worry, it ain't anything bad, and if you decline I wouldn't force it on you."

Not that I think you will.

With a toothy grin more fit for his Hero form Jaune began to educate his successor.

"Listen well little Ruby this is your once-in-a-lifetime choice." He pointed to her then and spoke with utter gusto in his tone.

"Do you want my Quirk?" The question alone would have her confused but instead she was just pale and worried as blood exploded out of the young Arc's mouth.

Pyrrha and Ren's faces paled at the sight

"Jaune!"

"That can not be healthy…"

"Ugh, not again…"

Geez I hope I didn't get any on my shirt again…

"It is incredibly concerning how casually he treats spitting out great deals of blood." Weiss shook her head towards Blake.

"Agreed but he at least seems capable or shrugging it off… For whatever that's worth."

Wiping his mouth Ruby was left to look up at him confused. What in the world he meant being at the top. However, Jaune seemed to grow calmer as he looked to her seeing the confusion aflutter in her silver eyes as he wiped his mouth.

"'Pfft' ugh, nasty… Anyways… There are some things you should know about my abilities."

Sorta jumped the gun there I guess…

"Tell me Ruby, what do you know about my quirk?" Ruby blinked at the sudden question but answered almost on instinct, after all how could she not know about her favorite Hero's power.

"W-well… according to most journalists reports they've theorized it a form of super strength or invincibility…" Jaune nodded.

"Right, but I've never really answered have I?" Ruby froze in place, he hadn't had he? No, All Might always went on to change topics, he always made a joke or went into one of his hero speeches to dodge the question…

"That's because the world needs to believe their Beacon of Peace is a natural born person just like anyone else… But… I'm not." This earned Ruby's undivided attention as she looked at him Jaune looked above as if staring to something… Someone not there… The wind blowed then, a Fall's leaf passing his form as the wind blew. His arms outstretched as if the better exemplify the revelation about to be revealed.

"I wasn't born with this power, no 'All For One' was entrusted to me by my mentor, my friend and partner…" Ruby could only stare confused, shocked…

"So Pyr-Pyr gave Jaune his power…" The spartan herself stared in slight shock.

"Someone … Gave you your Quirk…"

No way…

"Yes, and you Ruby Rose are the one I've deemed worthy of succeeding me… To you I will entrust this Quirk." To say Ruby was shocked would be an understatement, she was utterly overwhelmed. By the revelation, by his words, but most of all but his offer to give her it all.

"So transferring Quirks isn't normal…"

"He's just gonna give Sis all that power?"

"This is too much… S-sure nobody knew what your Quirk is, and thousands of people have theorized. Heck it one of the seven mysteries of the world at this point but still. To pass on one's own Quirk just doesn't make sense. Everyone's quirk is supposed to be unique to the individual, one of a kind. Using someone else's Quirk or inheriting it just doesn't make any sense to me." What soon followed was a vomit-inducing amount of rambling from the young Reaper as she went on and one about the subject of Quirk Theory and how Jaune's own revelation supposedly broke several understanding of it.

Yang snickered.

"Yep, total Quirk geek in this world." Ruby pouted, but to her sister's smirk she couldn't retort.

To the blonde listening however it only served to make him feel somewhat prouder of his own reaction when he'd been presented with this very same situation.

"Uh Ruby, sounds like your kinda overthinking this whole inheriting thing." Ruby ignored him continuing her little rambling her head on the verge of metaphorically exploding.

"Miss Rose, Calm Down!" Snapping out of it she looked to him earning a sigh from the blonde.

The group snickered.

"Sh-shut up! It's a lot to take in!"

"Looks sorry but you just gonna have to learn how to accept this, so just adjust you understanding of things and accept it." He knew it was a lot to ask but honestly it was the best he could do for her, he wasn't a social butterfly who knew exactly what to say to calm others like Pyrrha did for him and honestly the longer this took the more at risk he was of someone overhearing. He had to take back the initiative and so he put his hand out as if cupping something as he continued to speak hoping to get her attention.

"'All For One' The quirk I've carried for several decades now can be transferred… And that is but one of its facets."

"One For All…"

Neo Quirked her brow at the dumb name, what was he a musketeer?

"Yes… The power I'm offering you, one person improves the power, strengthening it before passing it on to the next and so forth, each wielding empowering it, leaving their successor more capable then the last. Stronger, this power, the is the cultivation of all its previous users has allowed me to save so many lives. That is the truth behind my strength…" He expected Ruby's eyes to glitter in awe and astonishment but instead what he found was so much more convincing that he was right to choose her. As hesitant, self-deriving eyes looked up to him questioningly, pleading for his answer.

"Then why would you choose me? Me to take on a power like that… I'm just…"

'You Quirkless loser!'

'You become a hero…'

'I'm sorry Ruby…'

"What if I fail to live up to it… How can someone like me possibly succeed you?"

The Reaper herself looked down disappointed.

'Bonk!'

"Owie!" Looking to her partner with teary eyes she was harshly ignored.

"Dolt, don't go agreeing with your counterpart, that'd just make both of you wrong." Ruby blinked before she was captured up in her sister's embrace.

"Couldn't have said it better myself Ice Queen." Blake exhaled but smiled faintly her leader's way.

"I think this Jaune made the right decision in choosing you, much like the headmaster did in making you our leader." She smiled at her team's words and as if to prove Blake's point All Might spoke up then.

Jaune looked to her and gave a faint somber smile.

"For so long I've been looking…" His fingers traced the wound abound his abdomen…

"Looking for someone capable or succeeding me, of a truly worthy successor, across all the Kingdoms… Every village, frontier town and more… And then I saw it…" He smiled at the scene earlier as it played out in his head.

"A small frail quirkless girl rushing into absolute death against all odds she couldn't hope to prevail from… All to save a life all while the rest of us, heroes and citizen alike stood idle." His eyes harden upon her then.

"Even though you were just a mere Quirkless fangirl you risked everything to try to save miss Xiao-Long. Without hesitation, despite your fears." Bravery was not the absence of fear but the will to go forth despite it.

"You without doubt Ruby Rose at the moment, were the most Heroic among us."

The team members grinned down at their leader whose face was red and giddy from Jaune's words.

Ruby could only once again stare as her eyes begun to tremble and several more sniffles came forth and seeing it Jaune smiled more playfully.

Neo snickered pointing Ruby's way as she did.

"I am not a crybaby!"

"Hey now, no need to keep up the waterworks." A hand landed down on her head patting it.

"Seriously we can't have the next Beacon of Hope always in tears, now can we?" She squeezed down on her skirt trying to suck it in and nod.

Neo broke into full out laughter at her man calling the Reapette out on it too!

"Your Mean!"

He… He really thinks I can do it… He'd even give me his power… This is it isn't it? The chance I've been hoping for, ever since the doctor told us I had no Quirk…

It was with those thoughts that she forced herself to look at him, her puffy big silver eyes brimming with determination. If he was willing to put so much faith in her then there was no way she could turn him down! And so she spoke utter resolve clear in her gaze.

"I'll do it!" He smiled at those eyes, wondering if even he'd looked so determined when he accept All For One all those years ago. He grinned happy, truly happy he'd met this girl.

Yang grinned recognizing that look, the same one Ruby had when she declared she wanted to go to Combat School. The set determination she had when she ordered them against the Nevermore during Initiation. Weiss, Blake and Ren alike gave faint smiles while Nora silently cheered in the background.

-Two Days Later - Early Morning-

The sun shone off Vale's ocean, the light so beautiful reflecting off the shimmering water, however, at the moment she could appreciate none of it as Ruby Rose let lose a series of loud, exhausting and strain-filled grunts and groans.

"'Pant pant' I-I … So much!"

"Come on Miss Rose you can take it, just a little more…"

"B-but it's so big! I can't I'm gonna, gonna!"

To say the room went silent would be a understatement, reactions varied from the absolutely pale Weiss and Ren recalling the size difference between the two. Blake leaned in her curiosity on full throttle. Nora cheeks were flushed but her smile was as wide and toothy as ever. Hey Skeleton Jaune-Jaune needed some loving and she figured a Hero having Groupies wouldn't be that big a deal.

Pyrrha Neo and Yang, on the other hand, stared at the screen in cold deadly fury. Though the targets for their animosity were polar opposites… Ruby though sat there face flushed as she imagined what filthy things they were doing! Damn Blake and her Filthy books! She looked to her chain then as a thought came to her though… Wasn't she supposed to feel what other Ruby felt when they were doing the nasty?

"Endure Ruby."

Again Hush and Red's throat were looking like a match made in heaven to Neo.

"But, it hurts! It's just too big!"

Calm down Pyrrha… Jaune's not yours…Yet.

"You can take it Miss Rose!"

I'm gonna kill him… I'll gonna corner VB lock the room and beat the living shit outt- No, no… Fuck another world! This isn't Jaune!

Sweat trailed down her brow as she pushed her body, baring his weight, struggling to handle it. Her teeth clenched as she gave it her all…

All eight leaned forward unconsciously…

And dragged the Industrial Refrigerator through the sand. On top of it All Might sat.

Huh this fridge makes a pretty good seat.

Theeight nearly fell out their seats while Jinn above smiled down at the gaggle of little perverts.

"Oh were you expecting something different?" Nobody met the avatar of knowledge's gaze, their faces flushed. Ruby however pouted leaning back into her seat. The sight making Yang pale as she put two and two together.

He looked to Ruby before him, the rose dragging the large piece of hardware through the rough sand as the sun fell upon them coating the two in its rays. He watched as her boots dug into the sand, her face red from exertion. Finally, she fell to her knees trying desperately to catch her breath.

Weiss winced.

"That seems a bit unpractical for your counterpart…" Blake shrugged.

"She has to start somewhere, and besides Jaune can't exactly just go to any regular old gym given his status."

"This is actual torture." He watched as Ruby wheezed desperately for air.

Neo grinned glad for the small comeuppance towards Red for trying to take what was her's even if it wasn't anywhere near cruel enough in her opinion.

"Why are we here hulling garbage!?"

"Correction, why are 'You' here hulling garbage. And the answer simple, cause right now you can't inherit One for All."

Ruby shot up from her seat.

"Wait what!?"

"What! B-but you said you'd give it to me!"

"Yeah Jaune-Jaune! And an Arc never goes back on his word!"

"What she said!"

"Ruby st-" The Reapette turned on her partner, eyes burning with adorable fire.

"No you stop Weiss! I want superpowers!" Ren spoke up then.

"Perhaps there's a reason you can't receive his Quirk yet." Above Jinn grumbled at the Lie Boy's cleverness, having hoped they'd have used a question for that bit of insight.

"And I will, once your body can handle being the vessel."

"See…" Nora pouted.

"Nobody likes a know-it-all Renny!" Blake smiled slightly the Valkyrie's way.

"Except for you, right Nora?" The Pepper Ginger's face flushed as she looked away.

"Sh-shut up!"

"'Pant' Vessel?" Jaune nodded drumming on the Refrigerator.

"One For All is the Combined power of all its previous users… If one's body lacks the bare minimum it'd prove too much best-case scenario you may be bedridden…"

The more astute among the seven students nodded.

"Worst case though." His fist slammed into the machine.

"Your body won't be capable of handling the strain and collapses or worse explodes…" Ruby paled at the idea imagining her body blowing up making her face greened.

The Reaper in the room did little different while the others paled at the idea. Except Neo, she kinda wanted to see.

"That's insane!"

"Nora Ruby can't go Boom!"

"There is no way that Dolt will go through with it after hearing that!"

"S-so in order to build my body up to handle it… I'm collecting garbage? Wouldn't a gym be better for me to do that?"

Weiss was flabbergasted and turned on her partner eyes hard with anger.

"You idiot! Your actually gonna go through with it!?"

"I… That's not me…" Weiss's anger only grew as her partner looked away slightly.

"And if it were?"

"Huh?"

"If that was you if you were that Ruby, went through what she did… Would you have taken such a childish, stupid risk?"

"I…" The look in her eyes was somewhat apologetic and yet the answer was clear, her little eyes positively brimming with determination made her want to scream.

"You idiot!"

"Hey Weiss calm dow-" The Heiress turned on Yang her eyes absolutely brimming with icy fire.

"I will not! I refuse to simply accept this dolt taking such a risk without getting an earful!"

"Hey Jaune-Jaune help Ruby out!"

"…"

"Jaune-Jaune?" the Arc kept his gaze on his first friend for several long seconds before sighing.

"Sorry but Weiss is right."

"What!?" Ruby turned to AJ betrayed.

"But, but!"

"But nothing, Ruby that's reckless, what your counterpart is doing…"

"But she needs to otherwise she can't-"

"Be a hero, I know… Trust me more than anyone me and most of my counterparts know about putting our lives at risk for our dream." All eight looked to him then, the comparison rather fitting.

"Your partners right to worry, Weiss just doesn't want to see you die… You get it, right Pyrrha?" The spartan stilled slightly at being called out by him. Yet why was all too easy to understand.

"I… I do." She met Ruby's gaze, her eyes sad, terrified even as she relived it. Relived watching her partner die in the Emerald forest, torn apart with only the cruelest of final thoughts…

"You really expect her to just be okay with you possibly killing yourself." Ruby blinked, confused.

"What…" She looked back to Weiss only now seeing the worry in her gaze.

"If you can't retain it, she'll have to… We'll have to watch you die."

"But that won't-" Weiss cut in then.

"It's Multiverse theory you Dolt!" She turned to Weiss.

"Every possibility… Every reality can and will happen!" She shook as the memories returned, as Jaune spoke of her abandoning him before the Grimm devoured him… She shook, her body not able to hold stalwart anymore.

'Drip, drip'

"I don't 'Hic' I don't want to see you die too…" She nearly crumbled then only for Blake to support her, her ears folded beneath the bow. How had they thought she'd be over it already, of course, Weiss was still affected by the view… She'd seen Jaune die, so to even entertain the idea of watching Ruby succumb to must have been horrifying.

Yang sat in her seat, her own self not nearly as bad as Weiss's but still, her fist shook as she recalled the scene, recalled seeing Jaune at death's door… Her breathes hitched and for a moment she nearly gave but resisted. Jaune watched them, honestly, this was always the worst part. Yes the Views could serve them well but of course, there was a trade-off. Trauma fears realized and seen, a horror etched into one's memory of a world not their own. It was already showing a toll on Weiss, on Yang and Pyrrha…

He looked back to Ruby who seemed guilt-ridden now, that wasn't right.

"Ruby." She looked to him reluctantly, as if she expected him to lay in on her but instead he shook his head.

"Weiss isn't wrong to worry, but… That doesn't mean you did anything wrong." Weiss turned on him confused but he shook his head.

"I know her way of thinking remember. The idiot who entered Initiation auraless." He smiled her way and seeing it Weiss struggled for a response. But she was being frantic, her mind racing, unable to properly construct an argument. His wasn't…

"We made a choice… when we tried for Beacon. And this Ruby is doing the same…" He looked to the young rose on screen, and Weiss could see it, there was fear for her, concern… but also… faith. Maybe that's why she asked.

"Have you… Had to watch her die?" It was only a moment but she saw it, the way his body trembled.

"More times than any one person should have to…" She went silent, much like the rest before finally calm began to come back to her. A single deep breath was all she could give before she turned back to her partner, eyes still hard, still worried, still… scared.

"Weiss I-" She wouldn't let her finish though and cut her off.

"No, you're not wrong, I was just… I'm scar-" Before she could get any further arms wrapped around her as Ruby rushed into her.

"Dolt…" She looked to AJ's back but he didn't turn merely huffing to himself.

"You two should return to your seats." They nodded and went back Blake more than willing to guide them and Yang having a face of slight worry.

"everything okay?" She nodded.

"for now… But, if something happens to Ruby then…" Yang's arm wrapped around her head then as she pulled her in ignoring her indignant squawk.

"If something happens to sis I'll be the one needing to be comforted Weisscream."

"D-dolt…" Pyrrha looked to Jaune, the older figure not facing them.

"Jaune…"

"…"

"Are you, are you oka-"

"Pyrrha, you really should return to your seat y'know…" She swallowed, hearing it, she didn't know exactly what the shift in his tone was. All she did know was it made her heart constrict. It didn't, didn't sound like her Jaune. Maybe that's why she turned away from him and returned to her seat a concerned Nora and Rent o her sides. Regardless they sat again and he nodded to himself looking back up to Jinn.

"Start the view again." The sapphire giant frowned slightly but obeyed, the screen once more bursting to life and no sooner did she reach out seizing him in her grasp.

"Jinn what are you doing?" She smiled somberly towards him, turning him towards herself. The sight made her non-existent heartache.

They made you remember it all…

"Indulge me…" She pulled him into her, determined to not let her knight go till then view at least ended. He gave but a single displeased grunt before surrendering to her will, the faintest blush on his cheek.

"Fine." It made her smile as she pulled him in.

He nodded.

"I have three reason for that. 1. I tend to avoid risking reverting back to my normal state in public at all times. The panic of seeing me so weakened would cause quite the storm." She nodded at that supposing she could understand his reasoning.

Neo shrugged.

No shit sherlock.

"2. I've never been one to avoid helping when I can, this beach is just another example, junk from everywhere gathers here have made this place quite an eyesore… But if we were to clear it out I'd like to think it'd help the community out a bit. After all a hero should grow not just his muscles but his heart, and compared to a few hours at the Gym I think spending it instead here improving this place would be quite a bit more respectable, a labor of love if you will. A hero should always be trying to help after all." She nodded feeling just a bit prouder at the idea.

Ren nodded agreeing with the idea, it was practical and restorative to the community.

"And Finally, look at this place Ruby, dirty, cluttered, nobody would think it's worth anything and yet with a bit of grit and effort and good spoon of determination I'm sure we can show the world just how impressive this place could be…" He looked to her then his smile growing.

"Sorta like you." She blinked.

The students smiled at the very Jaune-like turn of phrase while Neo rolled her eyed.

"Me?"

"Indeed, Ruby… Tell me your dream again."

"I-I want to be a hero, a hero like you!" He nodded his smiling showing.

"And how will you achieve that? Where does the road to your dream begin?" She blinked again not having considered that before. Where did she start from.

"'Sigh' Of course you wouldn't have an idea what to do…" Despite her words a faint smile showed, the trauma and fears of the views potential future becoming less pronounced. Yang grinned.

"Well it is sis, so it would be weirder if she thought things out."

"Hey!"

"B-Beacon Academy…"

"Hmm?" She clenched her chest as she began to speak her newly forming goal out loud.

"W-well it's just y'know, that's where you learned from right? So… If I can learn from anywhere, I'd want to learn from Beacon." Her cheeks were red, an adorable little smile on her face and seeing that Jaune spoke his tone even as to not betray his seriousness.

"Ruby, I've said this before but a Quirkless individual simply can't become a hero, some villains are too powerful to afford facing without one. It's a sad fact but true nonetheless…" His gaze was critical upon her as he continued.

"Adding the extreme difficulty of Beacons's entry procedures on top that and I'm sure you understand what I'm saying." She looked down, he was right after all. It's not like such thoughts hadn't occurred to her a few times before. Maybe she shouldn't be aiming for-

"Geez VB way to lay it on her…"

"It is rather discouraging…" Nora grinned though.

"Wait for it…"

"10 Months." She looked up finding Jaune smiling a stack of papers in his hands.

"In tenth months Beacon's entrance exam will come, you have that much time. And I got you covered, this is a plan I've drafted to help you reach a condition to properly store 'One For All' and pass the Beacon's Initiation." She stared at the documents in hand.

"Boom baby! I knew Jaune-Jaune would do something awesome!"

"So then Ruby Rose from morning to night, for the next ten months follow this plan to the letter and I promise you can do it!" She stared down at it, at the detailed planning. From training, her diet to even when she'd sleep. It should've made her groan at the prospect of following such a Spartan regiment yet instead her heart thumped all the stronger in her little chest.

He, he put this much effort into it… He really does mean it.

Rubysmiled, Jaune really was the best friend she could ask for!

"I won't lie, it'll be pretty damn hard to pass. But follow my plan and I know you can do it." It was intimidating and yet… She couldn't help but smile.

I already knew… Knew that I'd have to work harder than everyone else or I won't get anywhere.

"So the same mentality you had upon entering Beacon." Weiss sighed; this dolt really was just like her own…

She met his gaze with a fearless little smile and seeing it Jaune returned with his own iconic one.

"Well then miss Rose let's get to it, much like this Beach lets clear out the garbage so you can shine beautifully for all the world to see." She wanted to tear up again but just like he said she needed to try and get a handle on it and so she wiped her face and nodded.

"Well then Ruby let's begin, the first day down your path to becoming a hero."

She nodded to him meeting his expectations with no less hope, and so her training begun. It was intense, Hellishly so, but she aspired to follow through it none the less. In such a small span of time she pushed herself over and over again, putting her body to the limit and shattering it one her way forward one day after another. Her muscles so small and frail had never really been too toned outside her legs but even they grew stronger, reaching a level of fitness she'd never thought possible in so little time.

"Whoa, training montage! 'Get Swole' Ruby!"

And slowly, day by day she managed feats previously impossible. Her grades only slipping by the smallest of degree but the other students seemed to recognize something had changed. Catching her mumbling to herself, looking over All Might's plan. None more so then Yang, who she always seemed to catch glaring her way when nobody was looking.

Yang groaned.

Yep, still a bitch…

Blake smiled taking just a hint of amusement out of her partner's annoyance.

But honestly she didn't care, didn't care how sore each day made her, how tired she was upon waking up before dawn or even not being able to indulge in Cookies but once a grueling month… Okay maybe that last one bothered her a little.

"Wait What!?" Weiss sighed.

The Dolt achieved what I couldn't and actually forced to away from cookies…

But by the end of the day, as each day advanced the strain became a little less, her fatigue not as strong until finally she found it almost unnoticeable… Or should've. It happened during the seventh month, when she fell over exhausted, breathing heavier then she had even during her first day of this hellish ordeal. Worry flashing clearly in her Heroes eyes.

"Is that it Ruby… Is that all you can manage." He stared down at her, not receiving any of her usual spunk in return only see the petite reaper breathe in tiredly, exhausted. Her body trembled and his eyes keened upon her at the all too familiar sight.

You fool…

"Why did you go and overwork yourself?"

The members of RWBY shot meaningful glare upon their leader who folded in on herself.

"It, its not me!" Yang groaned,

Nope, but I've seen you do just that.

"Dolt, haven't I told you before the excess is dangerous to development." Blake shrugged figuring she'd leave the talking to her partner and sister. JNPR watched the poor rose but felt it needed to be addressed while Neo giggled at Red's plight.

Not hearing a retort he continued.

"This plan accounts for it all y'know, it may feel like it's getting easier but that's merely your body becoming more acclimated to the burden we're putting it through. If you followed it properly your athletic capabilities would reach the needed point by Initiation." He frowned.

"But you decided to not follow my plan have you?" She wouldn't deny it even if she could speak up at the moment and he knew that.

"Pushing your body beyond the plan won't help you reach your goal sooner, it'll only impede you and lead to negative results. Do you not want to pass Initiation?" That question seemed to be her limit as a small, exhausted voice spoke out then.

"O-of course I do… " He saw her shake trying to will forth any movement at all from her weary little form.

"I want to follow your plan… I do…" Of course, she did, a plan from her hero, from the first person to believe in her. How could she not want to follow through with it?

"Then why?" Pyrrha answered the brawler's question then, having recognized that look in Jaune's eyes so many times before…

"Because she want to reach her dream."

"But … It's not enough to pass… I'm not enough to pass yet. If I don't work harder than this, then anyone else then I won't make it." Her fingers dug into the ground, the sand catching between the thin digits.

"I want to be a hero… Just like you…" She muscles screamed as she pushed her head up facing him with weary determined silver eyes.

"It would seem Ruby's as stubborn as our leader." Blake looked top Ren.

"You have no idea… Still though." Blake looked back to her leader's counterpart.

"I wouldn't have her any other way."

"I want to be the strongest hero who can save everyone!"

Weiss sighed at the childish words, it was an absurd way of thinking. Nobody could save every life in peril, it was just a sad fact of life. And yet she smiled, because she couldn't say she hated the part of her partner.

Seeing that Jaune froze for only an instant.

I get it now… Ruby, you haven't been thinking of Initiation at all have you? No, from the beginning what you've been focusing on is after that, after Beacon. On being a Hero and all that it requires.

His body bulked up then to his more heroic state.

"Your really are a dedicated one aren't you? Seriously your so fixated obsessive would be a much better word to describe you… But you know something." A hand reached out grabbing the girl by the back of her top lifting her up as a smile formed on his mouth.

"I can't say I don't like that about you!"

Ruby grinned at the sight of Jaune carrying her like a princess, she didn't get why it made her happy, merely that it did.

"'Heh' Jaunes praising me."

It would take some time but now that he knew just how dedicated she was he'd make sure to revise the plan to better fit his adorable if not secret protege.

And so they continued day by day, hour by hour until that morning, he'd stepped onto the beach ready to congratulate his pupil only to freeze at the sight before him. The beach stood clean, tranquil, sand out without a hint of foreign debris in sight. At least until you looked to a single point where he'd scheduled the weekly pickup.

"It's… … Beautiful…" Not a single person denied the champion's words, after all she was right, the scene before them could be described as little else but that. The ocean clean with golden sand beneath. Perhaps it was do to them having seen its previous state that made the beach's current state look all the more appealing.

Standing there upon a mountain of garbage was Ruby Rose, the rose looking absolutely exhausted, worn and tired but as the sun rose and dawn peaked, she looked up and cried out. Her thin frail limbs toned and compact, her body brimming with life and vigor despite her state. He couldn't help but wear an expression of utter awe at the sight the tiny teenager gave.

"Whoo-hoo! Get Swole!"

"'Sigh' You ruined the moment Nora…"

You completed it, no… not just the garbage in the designated area but even out of bounds… There's not even the tiniest scrap insight. Ruby oh my-

"Now explain to me why you can put that much effort into collecting garbage but not into your studies." The reapette looked away from her partner.

"Um… Cause homework's… boring…"

"… 'sigh' Your impossible…"

"Goodness!"Her form buckled then falling over off the mountain of trash, but before she could make contact, he shot forward like a missile capturing her.

"All Might, did you see… I, I did it…" His grin widened at her expression, so exhausted but utterly proud of herself.

"That you did Ruby." Messing through his pockets he pulled out his Scroll showing him a picture of her first day at the Beach, her body that of a normal teen, frail and fragile.

"This was you ten months ago… And now." He gestured to her, her limbs compact and toned still maintaining a certain degree of feminine charm but not without a heathy fitness, her abdominals packed with a taut flat stomach and limbs that though small could outdo most others her age.

"Whoa… Sis looking good."

"It is a rather impressive result, especially given she's only been working out for less than a year…"

"Renny, Renny so think Jaune-Jaune can make the same workout routine for me!?"

"I think your regular workouts far outpace anything Jaune could fathom Nora…"

"Now even if only just barely, you can manage it and inherit 'One For All'" She looked to her hands, the fist clenched with a powerful grip, looking to it made her shake.

"It, it almost feels like I'm cheating…You've gone so far for me All Might. I just 'sniff' I feel so blessed…"

Ruby smiled to her alternative, sometimes, sometimes she felt that way too… How she'd gotten her entry into her dream academy, becoming leader to her team and even having her sister on it with her. Again, though she felt grateful, grateful for everything, her team, her friends… And maybe most of all… Him.

'Hey, need a hand…'

Asmile spread at the memory as she looked back to the screen.

A hand landed on her head then ruffling her hair.

"Hey what did I say about crying. Besides you're the one who put in the work Ruby, you deserve to be proud…" His smile widened then.

Pyrrha nodded.

"He's right you know, you put in more effort than he even expected."

"Course she did, Ruby might be a dolt but she never gives up once she sets her mind to something." The innocent Rose blushed at the praise trying to pay attention to the screen as to not look giddy like an idiot.

"Now it's time for your reward, are you ready miss rose?" She looked up to him then so much hope shining in her eyes. So much excitement she could hardly put it into words.

Weiss visibly tensed, her earlier fears resurfacing despite her constant reinsertion that they weren't needed…

"Yes! But, but how do you transfer it?" Jaune nodded supposing he never mentioned that part now did he.

Ren had to admit he was curious, was it anything like unlocking another's aura like he had for Nora…

"Right, I forgot, well. You must take in my Essence." Ruby froze in place blinking several times.

The audience watching followed her example…

"Come again?"

"Yes, you'll take in my DNA and by extension 'One For All' it's quite simple actually."

"D-DNA?" Pyrrha began to pale as a horrifying sense of Déjà vu began to hit her.

"Surely he can't mean…" Weiss was positively red-faced. The Rose herself stared at the screen, and whereas the previous view made a sickening icky feeling burst in her chest now it felt as though butterflies were dancing in her tummy. Her face heated as she recalled the exchange of DNA between Jaune and Neo previously in 'that' view.

It should be icky and gross and yet… Her legs rubbed together as she looked to the screen… Her cheeks pinked. Nora however spoke up seeming to have made up her mind.

"Screw It! Different World different Jaune-Jaune! Go get him Ruby!"

"Nora!" Ren looked over to Pyrrha slightly apologetic but the spartan sighed shaking her head. She supposed she could only get so mad at others and Ruby was especially hard to become irate with.

"You stay away from her! She's way too young for you Arc!" Yang on the other hand felt no such difficulties being enraged.

She was speechless as thoughts ran through her mind, she didn't know Mister All Might's blood type nor was there a doctor around to perform any kinda surgery right! So then, h-how would she take in his DNA… His, his Essence…

And like that years of story book cliches flashed through her mind cultivating into the single most obvious answer. The one any girl in her position would receive from the hero holding her up Princess style.

He, he's gonna, gonna!

Cheeks burst into utter crimson as silver eyes widened, she wasn't ready! No wait she was all sweaty and smelly!

I-I'm not ready yet! I mean it's not like I don't think he's the coolest but! But!

Eyes shut tight as the lil' Reaper shook her lips puckering

Neo and Pyrrha stared the former with a look of utter hate, she cucked people, not the other way around! Especially not from Red of all bitches!

Yang was having similar problems as she glared towards Jaune, eyes utterly red as she considered beating Jaune black and blue. The thought conflicting with her mind as the image of said outcome came to mind. It was torturous trying to suppress her rage so such a thing wouldn't come to pass!

Something tickled her lip then, eyes opened to see it, a single long golden thread of hair.

What?

"Eat This."

Again, she blinked as her mind went blank.

"Well this is the best way to do it, don't think we're the same blood type after all."

Again the room went silent before Several viewers sighed in relief.

"'Sigh' So that's what the dolt meant…"

"Oh thank goodness."

"'Whew' And here I was seriously debating keeping an eye on VB. Should've known better though than to expect he'd try anything on Rubes, right sis… Sis?"

"…"

Eww! Why do I have to eat hair! Can't we just… Just…

Her cheeks began to burn then as she thought about the alternative to eating hair, her lips quivering at the thought. Seeing it Yang felt another twinge of caution spark.

-Beacon Academy, Landing Pads-

She stared at it, Beacon Academy, her hopes… her dreams all in the single building just in front of her. She looked down to her palm, clenching her fist. She contemplated the new power coursing through her. One For All. Unfortunately, she didn't have the time to test it out but she couldn't stay focused on the negatives. No, right now she needed to keep her eyes on the big prize, on Initiation, on entering and starting her way to becoming a hero.

"'Sigh' Reckless as always… I wish I could say I was surprised but honestly since it's you I'd be more concerned if you were actually ready."

"Yang help! Weiss is being mean to me again!"

"Hey Ruby outta the Oum damn way!"

"Y-Yang!?" Turning she met her older sisters burning red eyes as she glared clearly annoyed.

"Oh no! Weiss Help! Yangs being mean to me again!"

"Oh for the love of Oum!"

Not explosion bitch again!

"G-get off me you Dolt!"

"Are you fucking deft, move the hell outta my way." She snarled but no sooner left, clicking her tongue as she did. Ruby looked to her back as she marched forward towards the academy. Before she would've done more, insult her or even a mild threat but ever since the villain incident she'd backed off for some reason.

"AGH! Dammit what the fuck is wrong with me in that world!?"

"Well at least she's been laying off on bullying Ruby…"

"That shouldn't be considered a good thing! This bitch!"

Regardless of why she was hardly gonna look a gift horse in the mouth and stepped forward readying to move… Except for two thing 1. She was so nervous her feet were shaking and 2. She was still tired from this morning and even if she did get to sleep in All Might's arms on the way here.

"Wait what did she say!?" And liken that the shortest and tallest among the girls glared Ruby's way.

There was only so much she could recover. Which was why currently she was taking a nosedive toward the ground or should've had a hand not tapped her back. Suddenly she wasn't falling, because she was suspended in the air.

"Whoa that was a close call huh?" She turned meeting eyes with a boy, a tanned one at that around her age. His cheeks were freckled and eyes a nice kind hazel.

B-boy…

Neo and Pyrrha blinked alongside the reapette watching herself.

"Who's that?" Jinn smiled.

"Oscar Pines, a rather 'Significant part to many of your counterparts and maybe even yourself."

"S-significant?"

"Indeed, friends, comrades…lovers." Pyrrha and Neo went wide-eyed while the Reaper herself froze entirely. Weiss and Blake blinked honestly surprised while Yang looked to said boy conflicted. After all he hadn't done anything yet… Ruby though looked to the farmboy and felt only… confusion.

"that, that doesn't make any sense…"

What about Jaune?

Herface reddened a bit at him being so close especially with how he was smiling her way.

"Sorry about that, just didn't wanna see you smash your face into the ground is all. Would be a pretty bad start to the day if you went and tripped." The Farm boy's hands clapped together as he gave a nice gentle smile. And when he did her sense of weightlessness quickly begun to fade and no sooner did she found herself grounded. A bell rung then drawing their attention.

"Oh shoot, we need to hurry, sorry again, let's hope for the best! Kay, my names Oscar by the ways! Good Luck!" And with those words he was off leaving her standing there he cheeks bright, and why wouldn't they be she'd just talked to a boy for the first time after all! Well the first time where one didn't make fun of her… She shook her head then.

Pyrrha smiled sweetly, honestly relieved.

"Well it seems this Ruby's little crush on Jaune is done for." Neo nodded her smile growing before both looked towards the reapette. Said reaper pouted as she looked to the screen, so what if Oscar was nice to her so was Jaune… And, well Jaune. Her cheeks pinked at the thought of 'Jam' (By Imyoshi) So what if Oscar was nice, she didn't know him like she did Jaune. And well Jaune was just so…

"Eh!?" Cheeks abruptly turned utterly red as she thought about him, about Jaune and finally it clicked.

D-do I… L-like him? Like… Like-like!?

No! No more bad thoughts only positive, now let's do this!

With her inner roar she marched forward into Beacon as ready as she'd ever be!

Seeing this the reaper herself slapped her cheeks much to her sister's surprise.

"Ruby you okay?"

"Y-yeah… Just reminding myself we got a view to see!"

Bad Ruby! No more thinking about boys and other junk! Pat attention to awesome hero world!

"Oh… Okay…"

"Um Yang…"

"Hmm?" The brawler looked to see her little sister looking unusually flustered as she fidgeted with her thumbs. What she said next shook her to her core…

"Can we talk after this… About… Boys. I have some questions…" She could swear the world slowed to a crawl in that moment as utter horror hit her. Her sweet baby sister…

NOOO!

-Beacon Auditorium-

Lights flashed on at the center of the auditorium drawing all student's gaze towards it's center, standing there was the proudest cat Faunus this side of Remnant Neon or as anyone of her fans knew her as the Voice Hero: Present Mic. She stood there loud and proud a mini leather coat untop of her ravers' outfit and a pair of shades that matched her booming voice and even louder personality even more perfectly.

Blake's bow twitched as she looked to the woman on screen.

"A Cat Faunus."

"WELCOME ALL YOU TO MY LIVE SHOW!" The students all stared at the peppy kittygirl with a voice like a stereo.

Blake was very much not a fan as she desperately covered her ears.

'Hiss!'

"I'VE GOTTA SAY SEEING ALL YA ASPIRING KITTENS REALLY GOTS THIS KATT PURRING! I'M BET'CHA A BUNCH OF YOU HERE ARE GONNA MAKE A NAME FOR YOURSELF BUT BEFORE ALL THAT WHY DON'T I GIVE YA ALL THE LOW DOWN ON INITIATION!" Winking to her adoring students a good amount of which were fans she began the real show (Explanation)!

"Wait she's a teacher! I don't recall any Cat Faunus teachers in our school."

"Yeah, what's the deal? Is she like not real in our world or wha-" No sooner did the brawler slap her hands over her mouth in panic only to hear a throating chuckle above herself from the Jinn who smiled down.

"Neon Katt does indeed exist in your world, however like the Jaune there she is also aged up and already a hero, the Huntsman equivalent in that universe? Her identity in your Remnant is that of a Atlas Student, the fifth highest ranking in fact." Yang clicked her tongue at the wasted question while Weiss noted the new info down about a probable transfer, she might face in Vytal. Blake for her part was just shocked to hear a Faunus like her was not just attending but thriving in Atlas…

Meanwhile Ruby was having yet another of her nerdgasms as she watched the Faunus happily bounce about at the center her voice as booming as her body was moving.

Yang fought the urge to laugh, wanting to remain grumpy at her mistake but it was just too much.

"'snicker' Oum you're such a hero dork Rubes."

"Sh-shut up!"

"I can't believe it's really Present Mic 'Squeal'!"

"Hahaha!"

"I said shut up! That's a order!"

Stupid Yang!

I listen to her all the time over the weekend radio! It's True! It is Really True! The Lecturers at Beacon Really Are Pro Heroes!

"Hahaha! You're such a Hero nerd in this world!" Ruby buried her face in her hands while Blake and Weiss smiled good naturedly at the display.

Yang groaned at beside her hearing the shrill squeaks of her half-sister, the noisy runt hurting her ears.

"Ugh, will you just Shut It."

Much like her counterpart's, ruby's mouth shut at the angry retort of her alternative sister earning a glare from the brawler herself sitting beside her.

If I could, I would kick 'my' ass!

"NOW PAY CLOSE ATTENTION LISTENERS! WE'LL BE TESTING YOUR METTLE OUT THERE BY RUNNING YOU LOT THROUGH A TEN-MINUTE PRACTICE RUN INSIDE OUR CITY REPLICA COURSE! TAKE WHATEVER YOU LIKE, HECK DO WHATEVER YOU LIKE BUT REMEMEBR WE'LL BE WATCHING YOU!"

Behind the smiling Faunus several images appeared revealing several variants of good old Atlesian robots from the ever common knight to the impressive paladins and several variants in-between.

"WE'LL BE SPIRKINGLING THESE HERE 'VILLIANS' OUT ACROSS THE CITYSCAPE FOR YA ALL TO PICK OFF! PAY ATTENTION NOW CAUSE DIFFERENT VARIANTS GIVE DIFFERENT AMOUNTS OF POINTS ACCORDING TO DIFFICULTY! THINK OF IT LIKE EXTEME LARPPING! NOW HERE THE REAL IMPORTANT PART, USING YOUR QUIRKS DISPATCH AS MANY OF THESE VILLANS AS YOU CAN AND RACK UP A HIGH SCORE!" The catgirl leaned in then posing as if to whisper in the audience's ear despite her tone suggesting the farthest thing from it.

"BUT REMEMBER WE'RE JUST ATTACKING THE VILLAINS HERE, DON'T NONE OF YOU GO AND 'ACCIDENTLY' ATTACK YOUR FELLOW PARTICPANTS! THAT'D BE A HUGE NO NO, AND YOU KNOW HOW WE PRO HEROES FEEL ABOUT NAUGHTY PEOPLE WHO BREAK THE RULES! CAPISCE!?"

The seven looked intrigued at this world's version of Initiation.

"That's sounds rather different then our own Initiation."

"You Mean Awesome! Renny they get to blow up robots!"

No sooner than she ask did a hand rise not but two rows in front of Ruby, the owner, a dark-skinned girl with short, navy blue hair and eyes only a shade or two lighter. On her forehead was a golden oval marking with four smaller circles surrounding it. Her outfit, a standard uniform except the beret on her head.

"Who tha-" No sooner did ren cover her mouth much to the others relief at yet another question being wasted on the same tired question like Yang and Ruby had done.

"Excuse me but on the handout, it clearly states there are four types of villains yet on display are only three. Such an error would be the height of embarrassment for the top-tier national academy like that of Beacon."

"So I don't know who she is but I get the impression her tight up ass ius Atlas, wanna place any bets?"

Not a single member took the offer all having guessed similar thoughts, stereotypes existed for an reason.

Abruptly the girl then turned facing Ruby's way an intense criticizing stare upon the young rose, her finger pointing undoubtedly in her direction.

"Moreover, you over there, can't you sit still for even a second, your being an utter distraction to those trying to listen. If you intend to disturb the other students hoping to give yourself the edge I think you should refrain from participating and leave this establishment at once." The Reaper wilted under the Atlesian's hard gaze.

"O-okay, Sorry…"

Yang growled while Blake was merely content nodding her head.

Definitely Atlesian…

Dammit, why does Sis attract bullies like a flame does for a moth!?

Katt having decided to let things play out at first decided now was as good a time as any to speak up.

"OKAY OKAY, YOU TWO THATS ENOUGH OF THAT! THANKS FOR THE SEGUE BY THE BY PRECIATED EXAMINEE 7111, CEIL SOLEIL!"

"There now you know her name, no need to waste a question, right Nora?" the ginger pouted but didn't deny his claim.

With a grin she gestured to the screen behind her as it suddenly switched off from the former knights and paladins and instead displayed a larger much more menacing machine. An Anti-Goliath Class Weapon. The colossal mech intimidated any who saw it before a curious number showed under it. Seeing their reaction Katt's grin widened as she gestured to the screen.

Nora's eyes practically glimmered at the sight.

"Renny! It's a giant robot!"

If I blew it up the explosion would be so big!

"THE FOURTH VILLAIN ISN'T WORTH ANY POINTS, THAT'S RIGHT ZERO, NONE, NADAH, IF YOU FIND ONE OR TO BE MORE PRECISE IT FINDS YOU AND WELL… LETS JUST SAY THERE'S A REASON WE CALL THEM 'ARENA TRAPS' IF YOU FIND ONE IT'LL BE TROUBLE, AND IF YOU GROUP UP ON IT WELL THAT'LL RESULT IN IT GOING ON A RAMPAGE, ADD UNTO THAT THAT YOU GET NILCH FOR BRINGING ONE DOWN AND I'M GUESSING YOU GET HOW POINTLESS IT IS TO FACE ONE!" The crowd whispered, many agreeing that the last machine served more as an obstruction than an enemy with that they were saying, maybe even more a simulated natural disaster.

"They expect them to do Initiation with that thing after them!?"

"That's ridiculous! Look at that, it has some of Atlas's most cutting edge features!"

"Good Oum man that thing looks like it could punch through a building!" Ruby would've given her two cents were she not currently utterly drooling at the feat of Atlesian engineering.

"WELL THAT'S ENOUGH FROM THIS KATT! NOW HOW ABOUT WE MOVE INTO THE MAIN EVEN YA'LL! SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT, OR AS WE LIKE TO SAY HERE IN BEACON 'PLUS ULTRA'!" The crowds cheered and whooped in excitement even Yang herself grinned her palms open allowing a plethora of small scale explosions to erupt before clenching her fist.

Now that's my kinda Initiation, blowing some bots to pieces sound fucking therapeutic right about now.

Yang hated how much she agreed with her counterpart, with all she'd had to see, beating some mechs into scrap metal sounded pretty Oum damn good right about now.

As for Ruby herself the brunette swallowed, a mix of feelings in her gut, nervousness, worry… but also as she looked to the screen, to the machines that emotion that'd been growing ever since the beginning of All Might's training regimen swelled… Determination.

-Beacon Training Facility C-

She stood among the thirty other or so participants of Facility C, thankfully Yang wasn't insight even if that mean Ciel girl was… Murmurs escaped the hopeful examinees, some of excitement, most nervous like herself. But honestly as she looked to the steel plated gate all she could really think was how she was actually here, trying out for Beacon. It made her nervous, made her feel sick to her stomach… But more than anything it filled her with excitement.

Yet if you looked to her all you'd see was the little rose shaking in place her face a nervous wreck. Honestly was she the only one freaking out like this!? Most of the others looked relatively calm about it all! Heck even a few of them had awesome specialized gear for their Quirks!

SO COOL! NO! Bad Ruby, Freak Out Now, Obsess Later!

'Snicker'

Dammit other me stop embarrassing us!

It was then she spotted him, the boy who'd helped her out earlier, instinctively her legs begun to Shakely move towards the sole nice person she'd met. Her only possible source of goodwill…

Neo gestured the Rose's way lashes fluttering as she smiled forming a little heart in her hands.

"Wha? No! why would I like Oscar! I don't even now him!" Pyrrha smiled slightly.

"Oh, you made it a point to remember his name." Ruby froze trying desperately to come up with a retort that wouldn't make it seem like she liked Jaune, which she totally didn't cause boys were dumb! So gather her wits she brought forth the most effective strategy her time as a leader had cultivated. Her hands shot over her ears deafening her.

"Lalala, I'm not listening!"

Only for a hand to reach out and grab her by the shoulder and turning she met the stern Atlesian girl's face.

Oh No, Not Her Again!

"That boy over their looks nervous, he seems to be trying to calm himself before the test." Her eyes narrowed accusingly.

"What do you intend to do by approaching him, distract him and impede his chances to succeed?"

Neo leaned in towards ruby then her smile widening as her thoughts transmitted.

'Yeah… Why do you wanna see that boy? Do you like him? Well… You seem like a good match.'

Better than you with my baby's daddy…

Ren watched, as Neo tried to push Ruby's thoughts into Oscar's direction, as Pyrrha sat there content to let it happen. He sighed.

This will end poorly…

She quickly rose her hands swinging her limbs about flustery as she tried to defend herself! She hadn't noticed the cute boy was having a hard time cause she was totally freaking out at least a gazillion times worse than him! Several people pointed her way snickering and speaking behind her back as per the norm.

It sucked but she was used to being written off as a failure…

Not a member of the eight smiled at that, not even Neo who recalled Roman pointing out what a hassle Red was specifically. Ruby Rose was no failure in their eyes.

The stern girl noticed her slump and begun to speak out a tinge of genuine concern there before she and the rest of them were cut off by Katt's booming voice.

"ALL RIIGHT ALL YA! LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!" She and the others looked towards the speaking then finding Present Mic grinning as her tail pointed exaggeratedly towards the gate. Which she noticed was creaking as it shifted and opened.

"WELL SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT FRESHIES! THERE ARE NO COUNTDOWNS IN ACTUAL COMBAT SO GET YOUR BUTTS IN GEAR AND LEGS RUNNING NOOOWWW!" By the time she'd ready to act the others were already on their feet and rushing out!

I'm Already Behind!

"Oh Crude!" Breaking into a run herself she gave chase through the gate and into the simulated city, honestly at any other time she'd been in awe at how real it all looked. The buildings stands and even signs, it was just like downtown Vale! She'd gush at the efforts that must have been put into all this if she wasn't so laser focused at the moment.

Crud crud crud! NO! Calm down Ruby clear your head it's alright!

"You dolt, you actually let others get them leg up on you when speed is your best aspect…"

Her breaths steadied and slowly she passed up several of the slower examinees as she did.

I've still got a chance, not even a minute passed yet. I can still so it, I just need to take down a robot or two and make up for lost time. After all, I got All Might's Power in me now!

-Several Hours Ago-

Ruby struggled to down the golden hair, honestly, she knew a ton of people who'd pay thousands for it which made is just as much a waste as it was icky to do.

Just imagine it's a cookie!

'Gulp'

"Ugh…"

That Did Not Taste Like A Cookie!

Several snickers escaped much to Ruby's ever growing embarrassment.

"Good you swallowed it, right?"

"Y-yep… ugh, but… I don't feel any different or anything?" She stared at herself having expected some kinda sudden explosion of power, or like a super cool transformation, something at least…

"I swear if this is another one of Arc's pranks."

"Chill Weisscream, I doubt VB would trick her for ten months straight."

"I'm surprised, I thought you'd be more worried for Ruby possibly… 'Exploding'…" Weiss was quiet for several seconds before a deep sigh escaped her.

"I would've been but she's clearly alright if she could reminisce upon it."

"Oh, 'Heh' right."

Jaune chuckled at that, shaking his head.

"Well, course not, your body still needs to process and integrate 'All For One' After all." It should kick in in an hour or two, just in time for you Initiation actually.

"Ugh!" She tried to hold back from vomiting, she smelt bad! like really bad! Then again what did she expect, she was moving around literal hot garbage and sweating up a storm.

The girls all cringed at the idea not even having considered that.

"Well that's a workout I'll be avoiding." The others nodded with the brawler, they're faces green, even Nora.

"I need a shower…. And food, food sound really awesome right now!" Jaune looked to the whimpering rose and smiled.

"Don't worry I have you covered, there's a nice hotel I rented out on the way to Beacon, you can shower up while I cook my lil successor a feast fit for a Queen." She smiled at the idea that All Might would be cooking for her. She could practically hear his fangirls cursing her to death.

In the room Ruby felt Neo's glaring her down while struggled against the slight urge to do the same.

"But before that I feel a warning is in order." She turned to him confused.

"You may have molded your body into a vessel, but you did it in a hurry and haven't even tested out your new Quirk yet, just… Be careful. After all the backlash of 'One For All' can be intense."

"Backlash?" Weiss nodded towards her partner.

"Indeed, given the amount of force Arcs shown I'd imagine the recoil would be a rather significant issue." Yang and Nora nodded, more then a bit familiar with rendering their muscles to screaming torn messes while working out.

She looked to him nervously nodding.

"Got it, I'll remember!"

"Good, I wish we had time to go into detail but we're really pushing the clock here so I'll give you the short of it so take note."

-Present Time-

It happened then her thoughts were cut short as an explosion of dirt boomed and an old Spider droid model curved from around the corner turning her way.

Blake's eyes narrowed recalling the machine during her last mission with the Fang before making her escape.

This was it, her chance, and a two point villain at that! Her fist clenched as she readied to attack… Except she couldn't… And not just because she didn't really get how to use 'One For All' Beyond that thing Jaune had told her that made her cheeks blush. But because she freezed up… Hey it wasn't her fault it was a perfectly rational reaction to a giant killer robot rushing her way!

"I mean she's not wrong."

"Yeah, sis hasn't really train for combat in this world."

"But then why could she face that villain before."

Before it could hit though a voice called out.

"Seductive Beam!" A ray of sapphire light shot through the air burying into and tearing apart the mech in an instant. At its point of origin, a blue haired mistralian posed, a smile on his face that sparkled in the light.

"Neptune?"

"I guess he's a participant as well."

"Huh, so in this world Neptune is trying for Beacon too."

He broke into a run already on the hunt for his next target.

"Thanks for the distraction lil miss' now that's what I call teamwork. Too bad it looks like we're not gonna be attending Beacon together through, would've really loved to get to know an adorable Rose like you." With a wink and a wave, he was off.

You Jerk!

"I mean considering that you would've been turned into a pancake had he not shown up I thinks that's a bit much Ruby." Weiss was all too quick to follow up Blake's point.

"Of course, it would seem like you this ruby is also incredibly reckless… 'Sigh' But I do suppose we already knew that didn't we, right Yang? Yang?"

"-ll him…"

"what?"

"I'm Gonna Kill Him!"

Your Ass Is Grass Vasilias!

"Well at least it can't possibly get any worse."

"No Blakey you can't raise a flag like that!" Said Faunus rolled her amber eyes.

"Don't be ridiculous Nora, there's no way things can get any wo-"

"6 MINUTES LEFT PART PEOPLE!"

No no no!

"You just had to say something didn't you Kitkat?" Said girl pouted looking away.

Her face paled then as she looked out to one of the larger clearings seeing dozens of busted apart Atlesian feats of engineering. Some crashing to the ground from high in the air the moment the freckled farm boy pressed his fingers together.

"'Pant pant' That makes 28 points right…'" Or the Paladin breaking part as the mean lady delivered a straight kick into the mech destroying it as what seemed to be engines roared connected to her calves.

"That looks… weird."

"You Mean awesome!"

"You all, aren't you forgetting the important part where Ruby's gotten no points yet?"

"45, hmm? I thought I'd manage higher than that in so much time." She looked around in time to see several more Knights be torn apart by the others. They're numbers dropping by the second all while she didn't have a single point to her name.

"28 and 45… Geez."

"Ruby seems to have quite a obstacle to surpass."

-Beacon Training Facility A-

In another facility Yang stood on a mountain of scrap metal, each mech reduced to burnt dented pieces as her quirk exploded in her palms. A feral smile covered her face as she savored the looks of awe and jealousy on the surrounding weakling's faces. For just a moment she pondered on how her half-sister was doing before giving a deep grunt of annoyance.

That little failure probably couldn't get a single point.

Yang's teeth gritted together, really hating that her counterpart was breezing through Initiation when her sister was struggling and worse that she right about Ruby's condition.

Beacon Training Facility C-

She couldn't get a single one!

"5 MINUTES LEFT!"

Panicked coursed through her as she turned all around her, this was it, she was losing, if the time limit wasn't strict enough then the competing with others far more experienced with their Quirk was. Insight, Agility, Judgement and of course Sheer Power, she fell behind in every possible category.

"C'mon sis you can do it don't give up."

"Yeah, use Jaune-Jaune's power and just beat up like a dozen robots already!"

Unknown to them several dozen Pros watched each facilities Initiation, gauging the participants, their ability and skill all too easy to see.

"Well looks like we scored big this year." A grizzled voice spoke up then, more than a note of criticization in it.
