My way to you

"I love you, always," he confessed. 

The confession caught Serena by surprise. It was evident in her eyes that it wasn't what she expected him to say. 

Her words died in her throat as his eyes met hers. Pietro has a penetration gaze, he looks at you with a serious face but you swear you can see him just about to smile. 

Goosebumps grows across her arm as the tension between the two of them thickens.  She swallows nervously as she tries not to look at his lips. 

Blood roars to Serena's ears as she looks at him.  Her heart beats slightly faster. Sparks shoot through her immediately as she locked eyes with Pietro. 

"No response. Am I being rejected?" Poetry asked dramatically placing his hand over his chest above his heart and feigning a pained look on his face. 

Serena found her lips curling up into a smile. "Of course, I'm rejecting you. Where will I go with a mere bodyguard?" Serena asked marching his level of drama.
