Chapter 19

T'iam daughter of Amonandaris, the leader of the giants. The jewel of the giant's tribe, unlike her brethren, didn't inherit her tribe's giant stature from birth. While they can shorten their bodies to a smaller size, she couldn't gigantify even after growing older. She inherited her clan's fabled All-seeing Heavenly eyes, and coupled with her gentle disposition quickly made her even more precious among the giants for it was their original ancestor's legacy, which made them treat her as a treasure and the giant's princess.

But T'iam's happiness was cut short when enemies appeared after her nineteenth birthday. The giants resisted and fought fiercely against those who came to take their blood and hearts as a resource for cultivation, but in the end, her tribe was overwhelmed and died one after another. Seeing the situation was hopeless they decided to leave hope for the future so they sealed their princess inside a crystal coffin treasure, and sacrificed their blood and power to activate the coffin and seal the location for the time when she woke up.

It had been two hundred thousand years since T'iam fell into eternal darkness, the passing of the years was torturous to her, although she slept most of the time she'd wake up every now and then, unable to move, unable to break the seal that froze her body's vitality, she was simply suspended out of time's reach inside the coffin, but her mind still felt the burnt of the years. One day during the instances when she's conscious of what's happening around her, she heard the footsteps of someone approaching.

Deep inside, T'iam felt afraid as the images of the invading enemies quickly flashed through her mind, her clansmen being slaughtered, their blood being extracted in front of her eyes, the survivors carrying her to safety and sealing her, in the hope of leaving a seed for the future. She waited nervously anticipating a disastrous conclusion to her fate when suddenly a hand pressed into her stomach and a warm feeling began to spread through her body, stimulating her vitality and breaking the seal a bit. After a few moments, she heard the Hum of a man's deep voice then the Coffin was carried, leaving her relieved and embarrassed at what happened and anxious because she didn't know what the one who took her intended to do with her. She prayed deep inside her heart. ' Ancestor Please look after me '

After a bit of time, she heard the voice of a man and a different woman beside her, she realized that the one who carried her was named Yuanba when he addressed his sister, after a few moments of listening to their discussion an explosion sounded and she was transported to a quiet place, Her mind was filled with chaos and nervousness as she waited for her fate. A few hours later the man returned, and in the following month, she began to relax when she realized that the man had no ill intent, but still felt both grateful and embarrassed by him cleaning her face, stimulating her vitality, and adjusting her bed position every day. So, she did her best to aid the breaking of the seal.

After a month when the man finished his routine and was about to depart, she opened her silver eyes for the first time in two hundred thousand years. What stood before her was a young man of similar age to her. He was quite tall reaching two meters of height. His face had enchanting masculine features and was chiseled, his irises were dark adorned by hair-like violet streaks.

They both froze when their eyes met each other as she heard him say

'' Ah, You're awake ''

T'iam froze from seeing his face and more so when her special eyes saw the hidden gargantuan soul hidden behind his young face, it was heavy and boundless like the starry sky.

Radahn, for a moment, looked surprised at the beauty of her eyes but quickly regained his composure, seeing no repose from her. He thought that she didn't understand what he was saying or maybe she spoke in another language.

'' How do you feel? Do you understand my speech? ''

Fortunately, the girl soon regained her composure and said in a soft enchanting voice '' Yes I understand your words ''

Radahn swiped his hair back in relief, he didn't know what to do or how to explain things to her if she didn't understand.

'' That's good, how do you feel? Do you feel any discomfort? ''

T'iam shook her head and was easily able to sit leaning on the head of the bed

'' I dont feel any discomfort… but i need some time to recover…''

She paused for a moment and continued '' Are you the one who woke me up? ''

Radahn nodded slowly and replied '' Yes, I found you in a cave on a different planet from the one we are on. You were sealed in a crystal coffin, are you one of the giants? ''

'' Yes I'm, and I remember what happened, that coffin is my clan's treasure… were you able to find anyone alive there? ''

Radahn remained silent for a moment thinking about how to tell her that she probably was the last remaining person in her clan, in the end, he told the truth because she had the right to know.

'' No I'm sorry… but most likely you are the last living person of your race ''

T'iam closed her eyes in grief as crystal-like tears dropped from her eyes, she knew the truth and that there was no hope for her clan to survive against those formidable enemies, but still, it was an unpalatable revelation.

Radahn sighed as he watched her sob, trying her best to contain her tears, he didn't know how to comfort her, so he patted her head like he usually did to his sister.

'' Your ancestor was a great warrior, he fought in the great war in the past alongside your clansmen, He didn't pass on and held on to his last breath, worrying about his descendant's safety… you have to be strong and continue his legacy, no one but you can do it… ''

T'iam nodded her head amidst her tears, she tried hard to stop crying as she asked.

'' H-How do you know about our ancestor? Is he alive ''

'' Unfortunately no, he was on his last breath and passed on honorably. He wanted me to pass this to one of your clan, here take it, don't disappoint his efforts '' After finishing his words he brought the dark blue orb and the stone pillar from his ring and presented them to her.

T'iam didn't know what the orb was, but she definitely knew her ancestor's weapon, she reached with her hand and took the staff-like pillar into her hands, she caressed its hard surface, and the circling runes inscribed on it while muttering.

'' the sky pillar, it was the weapon that he took with him before he joined the old war… I heard from my elders that it could stretch past the clouds if it were activated ''

After reminiscing for a bit, she turned and reached toward the orb

'' what's this? ''

'' I don't know, but I think it's the condensation of your ancestor's soul and power, try and feel how it works. ''

She looked puzzled as she fiddled with it in her hands, but discovered nothing, at the moment before she put it aside, without noticing it, the orb dissolved into a liquid and drilled into her body from her arms, and then she blacked out.

Radahn didn't react because his senses told him that there was no danger to the girl, so he remained standing watching over her.

T'iam opened her eyes to find herself standing in a greenfield, before her; stood a giant hundred meters tall, she raised her head and teared up when she saw the familiar figure of her clansmen.

'' YOUNG CHILD! '' A deep loud voice sounded then the giant crouched down, revealing his rugged face and his wild black hair, but most importantly his silver eyes that were similar to her own. He smiled warmly at her and continued.

'' LISTEN CLOSELY DESCENDANT OF MINE, THIS LINGERING WILL CAN'T REMAIN HERE FOR LONG, YOUR EYES ARE THE GIFT OF OUR RACE, CHERISH THEM WELL, I'M GLAD THAT THE YOUNG MAN FULFILED HIS PROMISE, THIS IS AN INHERITANCE I LEFT FOR OUR CLAN ALONGSIDE MY WEAPON, SHARE IT WITH THE OTHER MEMBERS… TELL THEM TO LIVE PROUDLY, AND STICK TO OUR TRADITIONS… ''

'' I'm the last giant alive, no one survived the massacre'' T'iam replied trying her best not to sob.

The giant eyes flashed and rage could be felt emanating from him, but after a moment he deflated '' I GRIEVE FOR YOU MY CHILD… BUT NO MATTER YOU'RE THE LAST GIANT THAT WILL CONTINUE OUR LINE… I KNOW THAT IT'S HEAVY RESPONSIBILITY… SO YOU HAVE TO BE STRONG, GET YOURSELF TOGETHER, AND LOOK ONLY FOR THE FUTURE… ''

After finishing his words, he stood up '' IT'S TIME FOR ME TO GO. I'LL BE WATCHING YOU FROM THE DOORSTEPS OF YOUR FOREFATHERS, TAKE CARE AND LIVE. ''

'' Ancestor '' T'iam shouted as she watched him disappear slowly.

'' THAT YOUNG MAN IS TESTED AND TRUSTWORTHY, HIS BLOOD IS OF A GREAT BEING, YOU CAN SEEK SHELTER AT HIS SIDE, AND MAYBE IF YOU WANT, YOU CAN HAVE A FEW OFFSPRING WITH HIM TO CONTINUE OUR LINE ''

T'iam wiped her tears listening to his last word as he disappeared for good from this word, then suddenly dark blue energy flowed from the world and enveloped her in a cocoon.

Radahn had been watching her for a few hours, after feeling the energy reconstructing her body he laid her down in bed, then covered her with a quilt and left to return later.

—-----------------------------------------------

It had been a month since T'iam had fallen asleep and today as usual Radahn was checking up on her when all of a sudden he felt a strong energy fluctuation emanating from her reaching beyond the divine origin realm into the divine tribulation realm, He immediately spread his soul power containing the burst only within the room for fear that she would kill someone with merely her presence.

After an intense minute, the energy fluctuations died down. She opened her eyes and immediately sat up looking at Radahn who had been taking care of her for the past month, she couldn't help but soften her gaze at him as she said.

'' Thank you, for what you all did to my ancestor, and my words can't express how grateful and indebted I am to you. Can you tell me your name so I can know how to call you? ''

'' Xia Yuanba, my family name is Xia, but you can just call me just Yuanba ''

'' Thanks, Yuanba, my name is T'iam '' Her silver eyes shone a little as she looked at him; Her gaze went past his face and looked at his soul and for a second she thought that she heard the sound of someone roaring within.

'' why is it that when I look at your soul I feel something different about you? your soul looks old but strong, and there's someone's roar I faintly hear from you… is your soul injured? I can help you with that if you want ''

Radahn froze in his place healing her words, he didn't reply for a few seconds seemingly lost in thought, then he shook his head and looked at her.

''No you're wrong, I'm not injured, as for that sound, let's just say that it's a memory of a past long forgotten that after many years became a part of me… let's just leave it at that. ''

T'iam noticed how his expression shifted during his silence and fortunately, it didn't seem he was offended by her question, as she saw the calmness and the acceptance within his deep eyes. After nodding to his words she looked around at the neatly clean room, the temperature was a bit low so she asked.

'' Can you please tell me where we are now? ''

'' We are on a planet called Blue Pole Star, mostly the people here are Humans, and their strength doesn't surpass the Sovereign realm, as for the exact location we are in the Frozen Cloud Sect; it's a female sect… it had been many years since you stood up. Do you want to stretch your legs for a bit? ''

T'iam having inherited her ancestor's legacy, now understood, that she needed to be strong and look for the future, and why not begin with a walk, so she smiled a bit '' I'd love to, but my clothes have suffered the burn of time. I'm ashamed to go out like this ''

'' Ah, Alright, wait for me then I'll be back shortly. ''

He opened a spatial tunnel and disappeared inside, appearing at the blue wind capital, he went to a store and bought the first dress that he thought would fit her bountiful body, which was a black long-sleeved dress laced with white fur on the collar and the cufs, he immediately bought it and returned once again to the room.

She looked surprised by his act, but he handed her the dress and went outside of the room. '' I'll be waiting for you outside the room ''

T'iam lightly touched the fabric of the dress feeling its smooth and thick fabrics, then got up and began to change her clothes.

After a few minutes, they were outside with T'iam looking in wonder at the frozen landscape, many eyes were looking in her direction amazed by her beauty and her unfamiliar face. She felt shy and strange that for the first time, she was among people of the same stature as her.

They continued walking and exchanging small talk, mostly her asking questions about him and he would respond with his usual short explanation, she was shorter than him by an entire two heads.

T'iam looked at the falling snow lost in thought, once again facing reality she felt the heavy responsibilities she had to carry being the last of her race and the day her race would live once again from her. She looked at Radahn from the corner of her eyes and had the urge to ask him about his dreams

'' Yuanba, do you have any dreams you wish to fulfill? Or anything you pursue in life? ''

Radahn was surprised by her question, he looked into her eyes and answered '' I don't have many dreams, I only wish to help my sister find our mother, as for my pursuit of strength... ''

He smiled lightly and continued '' It's a part of my life, I only knew weakness once in my life, and that moment will forever be remembered, I was not strong enough, in this world we live in, strength is everything, if a man wants to protect his loved one, he needs to be strong, and the more powerful you become the stronger who want to ruin your peace will be, only at the top will I have true peace ''

She looked thoughtful after hearing his words, this was the truth, the bitter truth that took her family away.

'' Yuanba!! '' Before they knew it, Qingyue was in front of them.

'' Sister '' Radahn greeted calmly.

Qingyue looked at her brother and then at the girl beside him, her face shone with a bright smile as she greeted

'' Hello, It's good that you woke up! ''

'' Hello '' T'iam timidly replied, she still wasn't used to the presence of other people after so many years of isolation, but the man beside her was the exception for he saved her and took care of her for a long time, so she felt comfortable around him.

Seeing the girl having difficulties talking with strangers, he took the lead and introduced them '' T'iam this is my older sister Xia Qingyue, Qingyue this is T'iam the girl I talked to you about ''

'' Only now do you call me your older sister huh? '' Qingyue playfully huffed

Radahn ignored his sister antics '' Qingyue, can you please show her around the place for a bit? And introduce her to the other women. ''

'' Sure, I'll be happy to do that '' Qingyue replied expectantly at getting to know the girl, but T'iam's eyes widened, shaking her head.

'' not right now, I'm feeling tired from all the walk, can we please go back I want to rest for a bit. ''

Radahn looked at her strangely but understood that the girl had been living in the dark for too long, so she needed to adjust her mental state. He nodded then bid farewell to his sister and returned to his quarter, after showing her the layout of the place, he watched her close the chamber door behind her, then he fell into meditation.

Tomorrow early morning Radahn knocked on her door, she quickly opened the door and let him inside, he looked at her and she appeared to be better than yesterday.

'' I'll be heading out for a while, can you stay alone while I'm out, don't worry in this place, you're completely safe. ''

T'iam looked hesitantly at her feet as she bit on her lips. '' C-can I go out with you? It had been too long since I saw the outside world. ''

He looked at her quietly for a moment then nodded '' Alright then, let's go. ''

He created a spatial tunnel and stepped inside, seeing him enter T'iam Hurried after him, a moment later they appeared above a set of buildings situated between lush green mountains.

'' Where are we? '' she asked

'' Heavenly Sword villa one of the four sects of the Blue Wind Empire… ''
