Chapter 48

~Zayne Beckett~

It's been three years since my high school graduation. I'm not entirely sure where to start.

I hadn't told my Mom about my father until she watched me submit my admission form for college. That was when I remembered it happened and she was surprisingly okay with it.

Well, not okay, she did cry, but she was calm. She explained that she had the suspicion of my father cheating, but she never knew for sure. Meghan walked in at the wrong time to catch her crying and began to cry as well. She didn't know what was going on, but seeing her mother cry at a young age hurts differently.

My Mom didn't tell Meg about what happened, and I didn't tell her for a while. Eventually, after the divorce, she found out and got angry at her father for doing it.

A couple of months later, Carter asked Hailey to be his girlfriend and she agreed. Personally, seeing both of them happy with each other was a relief. I was happy that Carter was happy. By happy, I meant planning to marry.
