Chapter 19

Somehow my legs had enough strength to run about five or six blocks and encounter something I honestly didn't think I would've.

I ran after Aurora, finally stopping behind a car. I kept my distance because I knew she wanted some space.

Looking on at Aurora, she approached her apartment building's fire escape and was ready to climb it. I couldn't tell that she was going to the roof but was confused as to why she wouldn't use the normal way.

Aurora stopped as she held onto the railing. Just then, I noticed a man in a classic tuxedo walking down in front of her. My face scrunched up in confusion as I cringed at the sight. Aurora walked backwards and looked to her right. I followed her gaze, seeing another guy in a black and white tux. I looked to her left, seeing a third guy with the same attire.

What is this, a formal party for the queen or something?
