Sofia and Charon woke up to loud knocks on the door

"I'm coming" Sofia called as she walked downstairs

"Um-hello" she said seeing the police at Charon's door was a surprise

"Are you Sofia?" They asked but more like confirming, Sofia nodded in confirmation

"And where is Charon" the other officer asked

"What's going on" Sofia asked rather than answering the question

"Can we come in" the officers asked, Sofia opened the door wide enough for both of them to get in

"Sof whose there" Charon asked as she walked into the living room

"The cops?" She answered her own question

"Yes" Sofia nodded

"Charon and Sofia well like for you guys to take your sit please" the tall officer said offering themselves a place to seat already

"I'm Martin and this is Tony" they introduced

"Would you like anything" Charon asked but the officers shook their heads

"Okay" Charon took her seat and Sofia sat down beside her

"Your friends has passed away, to be more specific dead" Martin informed

"Jennifer" Charon blunted out as she took and abrupt stand

"How do you know that" Tony asked as suspicion flashed in his eyes

"I talked to all my friends yesterday expect her I even unblocked her so she can apologize again and I'll tell her to come back but she didn't-" Charon began as tears rolled down her face

"It's all my fault, I should have never driven her away" she added as Sofia gave her a hug and tried to console her. Soon she also joined in the water works, Martin felt bad for them but something in him told him some where in these two girls crying and hugging something was hidden.. he took it with a pinch of salt

"We'll like it, if you girls come to the station with us" Tony said after the crying died down

"Of course" Sofia said as she got up

"Can we please change" Charon asked

"Sure ma'am" Tony answered. The two officers waited down as the girls went up to change.

"Coming" Denna called as she heard the door ring for the 4th time, can't the person take the hint and leave but to her surprise she found the police there, she wasn't surprised because they're there, she surprised they came this early. Damn they're really on their tail

"Wanna come in?"she asked with a sigh. When the officers nodded she opened the door for them

"Everlin get down here the police are here" she called out as she walked into the kitchen.. she came with two glasses of water, the officers took it but didn't drink it

"Good morning" Everlin greeted as she reached the palo

"Morning" the officers chimed in together

"Ready" Denna asked coming from the kitchen

"Yeah" Everlin replied

"We can leave..if you're ready" Denna said to the cops, they nodded then left with girls, Denna drove her own car so did Everlin and the cops drove in their police car.

"Is this mr Anderson" the caller asked

"Yes" the old man replied

"We'll like for you to come down to the police station in Sangre" the officer said

"Is everything okay, officer" mr Anderson asked

"We'll like to talk about it down in the station" the officer said

"Okay I'll come down here now" mr Anderson said. The officer didn't want to give the old man a heart attack or a head full of thoughts while driving it's not save so he decided to let them come down to the station to tell them everything.

When the girls arrived in the station, they were all put in different rooms to be questioned

"Charon, good morning" the officer responsible for her questioning greeted

"Morning" Charon greeted back

"So Charon I want you to give me a rundown of your day.. June 7th which was yesterday" the officer asked

"I woke up late something like 8 then I went for coffee and came back 8:10 I went for my morning job, I don't actually know when I came back but I left because of a video I was sent half way through my jog and I kept on going until about maybe 9:00 not sure I-" Charon was interrupted by the officer when she asked half way through her explanation

"Which video"

"It was in a club and my boyfriend and bes-best friend were making out" Charon said as the crying began again

"Who sent you that video?" The officer asked again

"The club manager" Charon replied

"Go on with the run down please" the officer said

"So when I got home I waited for Jen and when she came it was around 3" Charon continued and was interrupted yet again

"So your saying, Jennifer didn't sleep at your place" the officer asked

"No" Charon replied

"Where did she go to" the officer asked

"I don't know" Charon replied

"Your her best friend right" the officer asked and Charon nodded she knew what the officer was implying, she's your best friend and you don't know where she was

"Do you think she went to see, your boyfriend" the officer asked

"Ex-boyfriend" Charon corrected

"And I don't know" she added, the officer let that question be for now and they continued

"We got into a fight about it more like me yelling and she apologized then I left the apartment around 4 something. I told her to leave and I didn't want to see her when I came back but when I came back around 7 she was still there talking on the phone with Xavier" Charon explained

"Where did you go to"

"Random places the park, at scarlet's, at the club, at Xavier's a lot of places" Charon answered

"Scarlet?" the officer asked

"Yes, we went to thesame junior and high school with Jennifer they're like sisters..she's like a sister to me too" Charon explained the officer nodded

"What happened at Xavier's" the officer asked

"We kissed, I - I was drunk and stupid" Charon said before the officer said anything

"Love makes us do stupid things" the officer said

"It does" Charon replied with a sad smile

"We argued some more then I drove her out that was the last I saw her or heard from her..I did block her but by around 10 I unblocked her" Charon ended her explanation

"Thank you Charon, would you like anything to eat, we'll take a break you can have something if you want to" the officer offered

"Thank you" Charon thanked as another officer left with her to go to the cafeteria as the interrogating officer sent for a quick report

"Denna" the officer greeted

"I was home all day long" Denna didn't beat around the bush with greetings and questions she just went straight to her point

"I'm too poor to hire a hit man" she continued

"I don't even know Jennifer that much" she added

"her "mother" dear Sofia couldn't let me 10 foot near her" Denna said with an eye roll

"So I'm not answering any stupid questions, y'all better ask smart stuff" she concluded folding her arms

"We want you to tell us why you wanted to go all the way in 7th Avenue street to get noddles when there's a local store at your area which requires just a minute walk" the officer asked

"That's a good question" Denna said sitting upright

"Simply because they're noddles is trash and "sams" sold black ramen which I was craving for" Denna answered

"We're you there, when the body was found" the officer asked

"Yes" Denna answered

"Elaborate" the officer Prompted

"We were walking, when we saw a hand sticking out the brushes then-" before Denna could finish her explanation the officer cut her off

"Who found that hand sticking out" she asked

"Everlin did.. I don't have my glasses on" Denna answered and the officer nodded

"Go on"

"Then she told me that looks like a hand at first, I thought it was a plastic hand and so dumb kid was playing a trick but then the more we got closer the more we realized.. I realized late because I dropped my glasses in the bus so I was half blind, Everlin told me let's check it out and when he pulled the hand an arm showed she got startled and let go so I decided to pull everything out and that where we found out it was Jennifer then we called the police" Denna summarized

"Do you have or ever had a conflict with Jennifer" the officer asked

"Apart from the time my then boyfriend tried hitting on her no" Denna said

"More on that please" the officer said

"She's a boy magnet.. she's pretty and has her father's money so yeah" Denna answered

"What money" the officer asked interested, from their information Jennifer's parents weren't rich, she went to a public school until when she landed a scholarship in high school that's when she went to a private school, she did just two years in college and left.. she still had student loan and her parents mortgage was just paid three months ago and that was because mrs. Anna Anderson won a jackpot of 9,000 dollars

"I don't know it's a huge amount though, 10,000 or even more I don't know, we're not close so yeah" Denna answered with a shrug

"And no we didn't fight because of that dumb guys. I just warned her she apologized and I dumped his ass" Denna added before the officer would even ask the question.

"That's all for now, would you like something to eat" the officer asked

"Yes,actually"  Denna replied. A different officer escorted her to the cafeteria while the one that interrogated her left.
