Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

Unknown Motives

~~~(POV: Vera Lorell)~~~
~~~(Location: Secret resistance base, Balmorra)~~~

My eyes fall on the tall man that's entered our room. The mangled door out of the way, and everyone pointing their blasters at him. He doesn't even move, and all of our weapons are ripped from us and fall behind him out of reach and on the ground. "Balmorra sure knows how to welcome people." He straightens and relaxes with his arms at his side.

He walks towards the massive table, and his facial features are hidden beneath his hood. Only his mouth is visible. His cloak is grey, with pieces of black and white in areas. His presence is intimidating... Having known the stories of his accomplishments. "What do you want, Mr. Opal... You can see this is unexpected for us..." One of my older officers, Keldrian, voices a concern.

Nathan stops at the end of the table and looks at all of us individually. From what Master Naero Plaaser has told me, people strong enough in The Force can look into people's minds... I'm betting that's what he's doing right now... "My... I didn't expect a traitor to be in this room..." My blood runs cold... There's a traitor among my officers...

That would explain why the Empire has been easily taking over our world... I can't see who he's looking at since his face is mostly covered... "Why should we believe anything you say?! You could've been sent here by the Sith to finish us and divide us!" Another officer by the name of Franco spits with vigor.

In an instant, he lifts from where he's standing, and his body is nearly crushed. We can all hear his bones breaking, and he's still alive... His deep panicked breaths are a good sign of that... Nathan stops using his powers on him, and he falls to the ground completely okay and in fine health... Short from the piss and shit stains on the lower half of his uniform.

We all look at Nathan, seeing that this isn't a time to throw around such disrespect. "I'll make everyone in this room a deal. If you agree to listen to me about something I need, I'll help you with your problems with the Empire." Yeah right... If things sound too good to be true, they usually are. I can see some signs of hope from some of my officers.

I want proof of good faith, that he'll follow through on his word. "We'll consider your offer... But I want proof that you're a man of your word... If you reveal the traitor in this room right now, we'll talk about this deal..." A small grin appears on his face... The only part that anyone can see... Before anyone can react, Keldrian is running for the door...

Keldrian was the traitor... He's been like a father to all of us... Nathan lazily lifts his left hand, and Keldrian freezes midstep and floats off the ground like he's unaffected by gravity... "Don't feel too bad about it... The Empire can't be competed with when it comes to spies..." His hand makes a crushing motion, and the entire room shakes and starts to fold in on itself.

Metal, glass, screws, wiring... All of it's being taken out of the walls and repurposed... It makes a chair, and Nathan uses one of his force abilities to force Keldrian to sit down. I believe it's called a Force Push... "Him escaping is enough evidence that he's the traitor, but you never specified that I tell you what I learn from his mind. That's up to you..." I hate these types of deals...

Tricks on words and meanings, and the people that usually use them are dangerous. "Now, since I've entertained your desire for proof, I think it's only fair that you stick by your word to..." My soldiers and I share looks between each other... Not like this can go any worse... I nod my head a single time and Nathan places his hand on the console on the table.

A hologram of Balmorra shows up and it's space is completely controlled by Imperial ships. "What I want is simple. Soon, I'll be receiving a fleet from The Hutt Cartel, and I need advanced weapons for it. If I take care of your Imperial problem, I want weapons produced for all my ships." Geez... Talk about either crazy or a genuis...
