Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

The conflict on Hoth II

I can trust Satele and her strength more than myself. I have talent, but I lack much experience. The odds of fighting a sith in this old mining facility are good. "Do you think we'll find any clues to where she is from the sith here?" I ask Satele as the cold wind blasts us as we sneak into the compound. She shakes her head no, and she puts her finger over her lip—time to go quiet. We make our way in and stay hidden.

Imperials are patrolling and making sure everything is secured. You can count on imperials being diligent in their jobs. There are many gaps in the routes for us to get in, though. "We are going to try and keep this quiet, Nate... I don't want our cover blown so fast..." She whispers her order to me, and I nod my head. "We are going to split up... This compound is too big to search while staying together... Once the patrol makes its turn around, the tunnels bend up ahead. You'll take the path that heads west... I'll take the north path..." I get ready to leave as she gives the plan out.

The imperials are rounding the corner, and I use my abilities in force augmentation to get into the western tunnel. My mission is to search for the female spy. It would help if we knew her name, though. I'm no longer with Satele, but I can sense her through the force. I keep hidden behind crates and deactivated droids every time a guard patrol makes its way by me. The number of guards and troopers becomes heavier and heavier the deeper I get into the western area.

I eventually come into a giant room filled with cells, and all of them are powered by laser fields. If there are laser fields, there are controls. I jump up into some beams hidden in shadows. There are many imperials here. I look around the entire giant room, and all the cells are empty, except for one. It's a woman that matches the description of who I'm looking for. She has blonde hair and is wearing imperial clothes.

Her cover must have been blown. I can see some sith species looking into the cell and trying to talk to her. They both have lightsabers. I can't radio Satele. They'll probably pick up the transmission. I can always take them out quietly. Sneaking up on force-sensitives isn't easy, though. I'm surprised they haven't sensed me yet. They might still be in training. I pick up on a conversation right below between some guards as I hide up here.

They speak in their imperial accents as most empire soldiers do. "Turns out, officer Dorne is a spy for the republic. Acolytes Ferom and Edill are interrogating her now. She doesn't have much time before they kill her and return to Darth Vedian." So that's the name of the Darth I was sensing earlier. Acolytes are interrogating miss Dorne it seems. "From what I hear, Darth Vedian is on a desperate mission to find an artifact in The Star of Coruscant. If he doesn't find it, Darth Marr is going to kill him." Darth Marr is a dark council member. He must be Darth Vedians Master.

I look down at the men and drop on them. I knock them out before anyone can hear what's happening. I look around the room, and there are 11 more troopers, excluding the acolytes. I have Dorne in my sights, but taking on two sith is a stretch with so much backup. I look around the control panels and see an alarm for a sector in the eastern area. I carefully make my way to the console and stay out of sight. I activate the alarm, and a voice goes off, telling troopers where to go.

Everyone in the room leaves except the sith. I lock the doors to the room and come out of hiding. They both turn towards me. "Well, brother, looks like a Jedi has come to rescue miss Dorne." They both have the typical looks of the sith species. I draw my lightsaber and keep my hood on so they can't see my face. "I'll take care of this worm, Edill." Ferom unclips his lightsaber and gets into a stance, but Edill stops him.

They share a look, and Ferom looks confused. "Use the force to feel his strength, brother... We are dealing with a real threat here..." Ferom focuses his gaze on me. His eyes slightly widen. Edill draws his saber, too, and ignites it. Two on one isn't what I was expecting, but it's happening. I get into Niman guard and prepare for their attack. Edill shoots force lightning at me, but I use my saber to absorb it. He stops knowing that won't work.

Satele showed me lessons on how to deal with force lightning. "Ferom... We'll need to coordinate our attacks on this one..." Edill says the strategy to his brother, and they approach fast. I use precognition to parry and block. They are nowhere near the level of Satele. This will be easier than I thought, I see an opening, and I kick Ferom hard with my foot, and he goes flying across the room. I enhanced it with the force. I overwhelm Edill with fast and acrobatic Ataru moves.

I see an opening to cut off his weapon hand, and I do. "EERGGHHH!!!" He growls in pain as he holds the stub that was his hand. "FEROM!! HELP ME!!" I force push Edill against the high ceiling and hold him there with the force. I focus on his brother as he recovers from my kick. I hear Edill groaning above me. He is probably going to lose consciousness from the pain soon. Ferom charges me with a loud yell and uses form 7 to unleash a flurry of attacks.

Form 7 is favored by the sith and while very powerful. If unfocused like now, it's useless. I dodge and parry and feel his anger seething. He gets really reckless and loses all form. I cut off both his arms. "AAAAHHHHHH!!!" He yells, and I force push him to the same spot as his brother and smash them hard against each other. I let them drop, and I stop pushing them against the wall. They hit the ground hard, and Ferom is unconscious.

Edill looks at me in rage. I raise my hand, and they both lift. "I'll make sure you get the proper care you need, but only if you tell me the codes to get miss Dorne out of her cell." I'm still wearing my hood, so as much as he wants to see my face, he can't. I look over to her cell and see her weak body slumped in the torture chair. She looks at me with a weak face. "Forget it. She needs my help more than either of you." I wave my hand, and they crash hard into the ceiling again.

I hear loud cracks come from their bodies, most likely dead now. They drop to the ground and lay lifeless. I make my way over to the cell and see Dorne trying to reach out to me for help. I don't have the codes for the laser cell. So that only leaves one choice. I bring up my left hand and grip the pillars the lasers are coming out of. I lift my hands, and they easily rip out of the ground. The lasers de-power, and I toss all the stuff in my force grip to the other side of the room.

I rush to her side and undo all the restraints. I hear the door to the room being banged on. The troopers are back. "I'm getting you out of here. Master Satele should be on her way after feeling my fight." As soon as I say that, I hear shouts and blasts coming from the other side of the door across the room. "That's her now." I look to miss Dorne and see she has passed out. I pick her up in my arms and make my way to the door. It opens from the other side, and I can see Master by the controls on this side of the door.

She looks at us, then behind me to the two dead sith. "We'll talk about that later, padawan." She only calls me padawan when she is upset with me. I know I shouldn't kill, but it's not forbidden. They were already defeated, though. "I cleared us a path out of here after I sensed your fight. We need to leave before more reinforcements arrive." With that, we make our way out of the facility and to our landspeeders. Hopefully, miss Dorne can survive the cold trip back to base.
