Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

Assaulting A Military Compound

~~~(POV: Nathan Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Fort Garnik's Cantina, Ord Mantell)~~~

Now that they know who we're after and why we're after them. It's time to discuss where we'll be attacking. I've done some research and recon while I was waiting for them here. "We're hitting a Military compound that's located in a remote and deserted part of Ord Mantell. One that's away from any fighting or form of civilization." It's a great place to hide a Data Storage Facility.

No one is going out of their way to scour a war-torn world for something that may or may not exist. But I'm not everyone. The Force has helped me in ways The Star Cabal could never prepare for. "What's my role in all this? You two seem capable enough to handle this on your own." Theron is trying to find a way out of this, but it won't be that easy.

While The Force can help me do many things, and I can manipulate technology. There are traps that I can't stop with The Force. "There are high chances of deletion, and corruption traps in the Data we're after. I need your skills to make sure that doesn't happen. You're one of the best SIS agents for a reason." He folds his arms and closes his eyes. Contemplating an answer.

He's thinking about whether or not he should help. If Satele and myself deserve it, and as much as I could influence his mind to force him. I'm not going to do that to Theron. "Fine, but I'm not fighting alongside you two. I can find my own way into wherever this Military Compound is." I don't have a problem with that, and that settles Theron's role.

I shift in my seat to look at Satele, and she puts her attention on me. "We're going make sure that Theron isn't interrupted, and that no Imperial or Republic Forces catch wind of what we're doing. That's the worse thing that could happen." Once we get rid of the mercenaries quietly in the Military Compound, it'll be easy to get everything we need.

Theron takes out his Datapad again and starts to walk towards the exit, and Satele and I do the same. Satele was hoping for a chance to fight with Theron, and I can feel her disappointment. Both in herself and Theron. She doesn't like the fact she wanted to fight, and she doesn't like the fact that Theron isn't giving her a chance.

There is advice I could offer, and things I could say to make her feel better. But she needs to get out of the Jedi mentality on her own. I can't influence it in any way, or it'll lose any meaning it'll have if it happens. "Where is this Military Compound and its designation?" Theron asks us as he hops on a speeder bike, ready to leave.

I walk up to him and enter the information into his Datapad. The Military Compound is called Outpost Deep Crystal. It's about 450 Kilometers from where we are. So we all have long rides ahead of us. He takes off once he has the information. He probably wants to get into the Compound before either of us does. "He worries me..." Satele is scared he'll hurt himself.

Theron is a man, and one of the best in his field. I doubt anything will happen to him. "He can handle himself, Satele. We need to follow his example and get a move on. There are many things I wish to know about The Star Cabal that's held there. And I'm not going to miss out on any of the information." Hopefully, what I need is there. The Force isn't telling me anything.

She hops onto a speeder bike, and I do the same thing. She takes off, and I stay on her tail. "What do you plan on doing once we get there? Is there a possibility they could surrender?" Typical Jedi thinking.

We're not wasting time and risking our mission by playing innocent vanguards. "No, we'll not be doing that, Satele. No survivors. No one can know who we are and why we're there." She instantly disapproves of the mission, but she's dedicated to it.
